I stumbled upon an interesting stat from Analytics. At the beginning of the year, Google/Google Now/Discover/Android recommended stories started sending us a huge amount of traffic which resulted in almost a million extra sessions per month. And just like that after the middle of July, it's all but disappeared with a drop of 65% from last month. New algorithm? Not sure.

zubellas for picking up this fast moving deal, Scratch off Map $0.35 from Amazon AU, which took merely 6 minutes and 35 seconds to get onto the front page (+30 votes) and 20 minutes and 29 seconds to get 100 votes (even when it got marked as expired 13 minutes after posting).
alvian for posting the 2nd most popular deal, Free "In The Garden" Stamp Sheetlet from Australia Post Collecting Community and a very active power user touching up 300+ deals in August.
nocure for coming equal 1st for posting most deals in August. He has posted 86 deals with average +54.2, and 46 of them managed to land on the OzBargain front page. It's a tie with dealbot, whom has already won the monthly award 4 times so far this year.
