Ie. Just have a single tab open, no ad block software running, add the item to cart after clicking through…. Etc.

I was wondering about this too - haven't got the $2, nor did it track. I used the Shopback app which then opened the Ebay app and I purchased within the Ebay app.
I had something similar happen with the 10% eBay/SB cashback. lodged case with SB but ultimately went round in circles and nowhere. Asked SB rep here to look into the case but never got back to me. It was for a significant amount (near $100) else I wouldnt have bothered with small amount (<$10).
YMMV.
So with the cap can you keep going back with another $200 purchase .?

Just curious, why is cashback offered only on ebay apps & not available when going directly to the site? Is there some advantage for ebay? I know their rules but just wondering as to the reason. ta :)

Damn, just spent $3k+ on various PC parts (2080Ti, X570, PSU, case, etc) over past few days with PANTHER and thought I had done a good deal to get 1% Shopback :(

Think of it as a maximum transaction of $200 to get the most benefit.

Cashback is not payable on purchases using gift cards unless otherwise stated.This is new I think - this was not the case previously, before cashback at ebay disappeared. It is just like Woolworths now with no cashback if you use giftcards for payment.
