- Reports 4,492.
- Removed deals for duplicates (288), No Bargains Listed (44), Unobtainable Deal (17).
- Comments Posted: 126,462
- Overall traffic: 12,303,774 sessions, 41,053,613 pageviews.
- Black Friday was the biggest ever day with 2.4m pageviews (BF 2016 did 1.5m and Boxing Day 1.6m).
Google APIs is now our 3rd best referrer. What is it? It's the Google search / Google Now on your phone which shows recommended stories either through the app, browser or notifications. November's referrals are double that of October so it's something that Google is actively working on. Would be cool for some Google Home integration "OK Google. Tell me today's deals.".
November also marked OzBargain's 11th birthday which resulted in a number of meetups around the country. Our Christmas charity drive helped raise $28,600. Next up Boxing Day.
Site Updates of Interest (Not a full list)
- Change comp filter for entry requirements to filter by exclusion rather than inclusion. Existing user settings have been reversed (what was previously checked is now unchecked and vice versa) - see announcement
- Increase comp posting limits to 5/5 mins, 20/hour, 30/6 hours, 30/day
- Add pager to the top of the page for view all comments.
- Parse seller website from facebook commercial/shopping listings
- Parse Amazon AU sellers into sub-stores.
- Changed Amazon AU guidelines to allow posts from Australian users only/reps from Australia only.
- Add draft for forum and classifieds (Scotty)
- Display overlay warning for 1st time deal posters regarding referrals, association and duplicates.

save50 for posting the most deals last month. save50 has joined OzBargain for just over a year, and has posted 55 deals in November with +14 vote average.
gnv9 for posting the competition of the month, Win an Audi A1 Sportback from Allianz. Any OzBargain won a car? gnv9 has also won almost every month this year from the number of competitions she has posted. For November she has posted 439 comps with +9.4 vote average.
Baysew and Spackbace for helping out as power users last month, editing 200+ deals each. November has been the busiest month so far this year — 3,726 deals published, 206 on the day of Click Frenzy, 234 on the eve of Black Friday and 389 deals posted on the Black Friday itself.
