$63.20 for Google home mini with pickup

    • What do they normally go for?

      • +1

Just released with RRP$79. Only seen it discounted a couple of times but not this much.

      • +2

I paid $71 on Monday on ebay sellor with 20% off. feeling ashamed…

    • +1

      Bought. Thanks!

    • +1

cant find the google mini… link?

      • +1

        Oops … Found… and purchased…. 3 of them!

        • Just 2 for me to go with the Home i already have. Getting one of each colour. Chalk for bedroom and charcoal for next to tv.

    • Can you please share the link for Google Home Mini and Google Home?

    • Keep getting "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." When I try to checkout

      • I had same issue. Put it in your watched items then go in through eBay app and it works

  • Can we get a refund on the difference if we paid for something in store within 30 days?

    • Good question, I'll ask.

      • +1

I can tell you from experience as I just went through this with the HisenseN7 65" during the last sale.

TGG Brick & Mortar stores do 30 days price matching (but excluding their own prices and ebay) but do not accept returns for change of mind.
TGG Ebay do NOT price match but you can return items within 30 days (if in original packaging/ resellable)

    • +1

No you can't. Ebay is offering the 20% off, not TGG directly. Same as every other sale and every other time this is on.

    • +1

Need to know too. Got note8 in the ladt deal. I hope they do

  • Good guys with 20% discount is generally about 5% in real terms when being compared to other sellers.

    • +5

Nah there's definite bargains to be made at the Good Guys, but you gotta do the leg work. i.e. store credit, find price marked down to other areas.

      I find them the cheapest!

    • +4

It's funny that the Fitbit charge 2 is $189 on Goodguys site but $249 on Goodguys eBay store.

  • Doesn't work with apple products?

    • I picked a random Apple product (Apple MD821AM/A Lightning to USB Camera Adapter) and tried the voucher and it does work. I also googled the usual price of this item and can confirm they haven't inflated the price.

That said, they don't have many Apple products listed, mostly cables and power adaptors.

      • That's strange. I just tried that item and it wouldn't work for me. I'm trying to get the Apple 45w Magsafe 2 power adaptor. It just says that the code can't be applied to my order.

EDIT: Just realised that my account was opened many years ago when I used to live in the UK, so I'm not eligible for the offer.

        • +1

Could you change the location of your ebay account?

        • +1

          @yktay2:
Yes you can, I did the same from UK

  • Cheers OP ;)

  • No washing machines:(

    • erm.. i managed to find some washer..

    • You have to scroll through all the kitchen things as they aren't categorised properly - eg when I click on dishwasher, it shows me 1 washing machine

  • Do they give tax invoice with a full price or the discounted (actual) paid ?

    • +5

Last time i paid for a coffee machine and when picked up in store the invoice had the full amount not the discounted.

    • +1

Last time I bought one of the Logitech x300 speakers discounted from TGG it had the full price on the tax invoice.

    • +2

Yes, invoice is for the full amount, which is great if you are claiming GST on the item when travelling out of Australia :)

        • +3

eBay is paying the seller (TGG) the difference. So they are still getting the full price of the item.

        • +3

You're entitled to claim what's on the receipt, which is what the government would be getting.

        • @djlee: if ebay is paying some of the GST I would not be surprised if they are claiming it also.

    • Invoice showed the full price on the Hisense TV I bought last sale.

  • Unfortunately they are already $55 more than officeworks on the fitbit charge 2 ($249 vs $194). Hope others find better deals.

  • Any good prices for ~50 inch tvs? I don't know too much about TVs unfortunately.

    • +1

Go for OLED. You'll never look back

      • +2

They've disappeared them all except for two 65" models: the LG E7 (a rip off) and the Panasonic EZ950U (worse).

        • +1

LG e755 is there but its the more expensive sound bar version prefer the c7

        • @jasswolf Agreed!
I was after the LG OLED65C7T. I won't pay an extra $1K for the LG OLED65E7T model.
I saw that with the last 20% off TGG ebay deal, their stock of the OLED65C7T on the metro brick & mortar stores disappeared very quickly.

    • +3

Hisenese 55 inch N7 is there for $1040 pick up or $1090 delivered. From looking at reviews it seems like an absolute bargain, fighting to stop myself buying one

  • -2

Assume that the $10 voucher from TGG won't work on their eBay store?

  • +1

Great!, picked up Dyson V8 absolute for $598. Cheaper than the one I missed getting on Bing Lee deal. Thanks OP.

  • Unfortunately no Dyson hairdryer.

  • +1

anyone here a loving and satisfied owner of their dyson v6 slim?

I want one for car/ general small cleanups

    • It's a game changer. Don't really use it for the car though

      • yep, life quality upgrade

    • +3

In my house with kids and constant mess, the v6 is definitely of use, but not sufficient on its own. If I want a thorough clean, or expect to be vacuuming for more than 5 minutes, I'll take the corded Dyson vacuum every time.

For small jobs, the v6 is fine. My biggest grievances with the V6 are the short battery life and subsequent recharge time, and the dust bin usability. In terms of the dust bin, once it starts getting full (which doesn't take particularly long in my house compared to a conventional vacuum), you must release the door to empty the bin. In theory the dust/dirt etc should just fall out. However if the bin is anywhere near capacity, you will find yourself sticking finger/etc in to the bin to try and dislodge/remove the clumps of dust, getting dust on your hand and potentially the surrounds in the process.

Have a read of some of the reviews:
      https://www.productreview.com.au/p/dyson-v6.html

      • thanks for that! I had suspected the dust bin thing might be an issue since its a problem on my old DC37 too but that's the sacrifice we get for baglessness

Just curious if anyone has this slow cooker, how is this comparison to other slow cookers?

    Thanks

    • Do you think it's better than the Breville Slow Cookers?

    • If you can, I'd spring for a pressure cooker. Does pretty much everything a slow cooker does, but better.

      http://www.seriouseats.com/2016/10/why-pressure-cookers-are-…

I have the breville fast-slow pro which is pretty good. Even has a slow cooker function if you really want it.

      • Thanks man, the main reason I am getting the crockpot is because it is cheaper than pressure cooker, but I have a look at different options, but I keep my eyes open for pressure cookers when bargains appear :)

Good Price on the Hisense 75n7:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-75N7-75-190cm-UHD-LE…

Under $3k for a 75 inch UHD TV!

    • looks good! i was going to wait till Christmas… going by previous year's sale patterns, does anyone think this model will drop anymore by the end of the year?

      • Also was thinking the same of waiting till christmas, but im not sure its going to drop lower than $2800 at christmas.

I've been looking at this backup drive to go with my new Xbox One X. This one is recommended on whirlpool: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2675318

I don't think there's enough stock to create a separate deal, but this is a great price for this backup drive. Almost pulled the trigger at $189 from JB, which is $40 cheaper than everyone else. This gets it down to $156.26 delivered

  • +1

Anyone else getting "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again."

    • +1

      nope

    • +1

Yes, I thought i'd purchased a Motorola G5S Plus for $348 but when I got to paypal last step it came up with These items are not available. They may have been purchased already, or the listings have expired.
      Error code: 70203 70084
      They are still listed however.

    GoPro 5 Black = $398 (free click'n'collect or $5 delivery)
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122739140646

    Nice price :)

  • Are the 2.5kw cool / 3.2kw heat kelvinator split systems any good?
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Kelvinator-KSV25HRG-C2-5kW-H…

$528 for an inverter split system is pretty good.

    • +1

Maybe a Mitusibishi / Fujistu unit is a better investment for a further $100-$150..

    • Got one last deal and seems to work well - same efficiency and warranty as the more expensive ones. There is the ksd variant which has a dred but I think thats only for Queensland
      http://www.temperzone.biz/AU-Home/Tech-Info/Technical-Suppor…

    • Same warranty and work just as well as each other. Only difference really is the inside fan noise. If it’s a 2.5kw , probably going in a bedroom and in there you want quiet operation.

    • MHI Avanti A/C's are a steal, but be aware a LOT of installers don't want to fit supplied units, they want to make coin out of the units too

Wonder if Bunnings will go 10% lower on price match?

  • I just bought a google home mini for 79 through TGG Ebay a couple of days ago. Obviously it's already unpacked. I wonder if I buy another one with this special and then return it with the full price invoice from Tuesday…

    • +3

Is it worth the stuffing around for a $9 saving? .. maybe just chalk it up to experience… (TGG have these 20% off sales quite often)

      • +1

@FLICKIT This website turned me into a greedy monster LOL. BTW it's not $9, it's almost $16.

        • +1

True, my bad.. brain fart, lol

      • +1

Time to hand in your OzBargain card?

      • Yes it is worth it! If its not the money, its the feeling!!!

  • +1

Looking for a new TV. Hisense 55N7 comes down to $1,036.
Good deal? Other recommendations in the 1k range?

    • +2

I investigated the previous series 7 Hisense model last year quite closely, and very nearly bought it (ended up with a Samsung KS8000 for a crazy boxing day price).
From all reports the N7 series is even better. Can't imagine anything else at the $1k mark could compete. Would buy one myself if I thought it would fit into my back room!

    • +1

55N7 or Samsung MU6400 at that price range.

At next price bracket get Samsung MU7000 or a similar priced Sony.

      • Looks like Hisense does a much better job at upscaling. This is a major factor given most media in particular FTA TV is still in FHD and would have to be upscaled to 4k.
The more I look the more the Hisense seems the way to go.

      • Samsung mu7000 has 200hz and smart software is amazing also you get one connect box which is handy if you wallmount it

  • +1

Anyone thinking of buying from TGG, I suggest that you do thorough research on the price. I bought F&P Fridge from Bing Lee for $1600 during their 20% off promotion and the same fridge after 20% TGG discount works out to be $1920.

    • Which model did you buy mate?

      • +1

        F&P RF522ADX5 519 Litre.

Just checked and Bing Lee has increased the priced from $1999 to $2199 Ouch! They appeared to have removed the old listing and relisted the item at this price because old price is not shown in their price history.

F&P also have $250 cash back on this fridge so it worked out about $1.4k (incl. delivery) to me. I still can’t believe that Bing Lee has increased the price within a week, may be they realised it after I bought it, lol.

        • +1

Thanks, must say you are a lucky duck to get that refrigerator under $1500 :)

        • @Curiouscat:

2nd World is currently selling it for $1749 and after cash back it will work out to be $1500 (plus shipment) if someone is keen :)

        • @RockMeLoOn: Cashback doesn't apply because it is a factory second unfortunately.. or id be all over it.

        • @dallasG:

          Ah! What a shame.. :(

    • Yep it seems like when there's an eBay sale only targeting TGG, they jack the prices up.

  • Can you please share the link for Google Home Mini and Google Home?

  • Does anyone have a Kenwood Stand Mixer and can comment on the quality of the food processor attachment for them? Seems like $80 is a solid price (lower than usual anyway) but I'm unsure if I should go a normal food processor, or double up with the mixer + attachment. I make a lot of bread so could be handy.
