Looks to be better than the current price elsewhere. Maybe useful for the ones that have access to the LG EPP.

Edit: Adding that this is via CBA EPP to avoid confusion.
Edit 2: Thanks to @isthatallyougot, STPATRICKS code that expires today brings the price down further to $4149.18

  • Is this all time low?

    • +2

Nope been slightly cheaper at HN of all places: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/852733

83" C series typically get to 5K or below on clearance

Edit: didnt see the CBA + LG discount deal mentioned below in my searching. Spin & Win discounts kinda same boat. For regular deals though 5K is about where its at.

  • Both my HSBC and uni LG accounts are showing as $5849.10. Not sure which EPP it is

    • +1

      This is Commonwealth Bank

  • +6

Lowest its been with cba lg discount is $3699

    • Got a link? I got it for 3999 with spin and win (20%) +cashback.
Don't recall seeing lower than that for the 83 c4.

  • +1

    How to access this price?

  • $6500 on the site

  • +1

    $5,524.15 through LG education.
Not sure what EPP is or what the requirements are to get it.

Any good deal in the 65 or 77? Or any idea on when it will be the best time to purchase a lot C4 tv?

    • I’m after a 77 too. Lowest price now, new sales started a few days ago, is $4,887 at harvey Norman. It has been down to 4,495 at JB around Xmas, but this seems like the final run out time as new models are coming in now.. Question is wait or hope for a lower price before they all sell out. Or go in and try and haggle a bit, try and get free delivery and set up for example

  • Great price, if you can get it.

  • +1

    Not a bad price.

It might be worth considering the G4, which has MLA.

Shortly after launch I, and others, were able to get a similar enough price at the time.

    • -1

      What is a MLA?

Does Gov get EPP access like Samsung ?

  • -1

Expired? Showing $6,499 now for me

  • Waiting for 77 inch G4 to go below $5k. Missed the previous deal a few weeks ago 😔

    • Me too, may have to wait to June I’m thinking

    • +1

      Is 4149 good enough? That's today's price for G4 77 inch

      • How? Through EPP?

        • Yeah, the same CBA EPP but with additional discount just for today.. St Patrick's Day

          • @DealHunted: Lucky bugger, I’d kill for this tv at $4150

          • +1

@DealHunted: What!!!!! Are you sure it's for G4? I am calling my CBA friend right now!! Thank you.

      • Thank you, just ordered it through my friend's EPP. Amazing price.

  • Why don’t OLED tvs get to 98 inch?

    • +3

LG OLED evo G2 comes in 97 inch. Close enough. Very small market for them due to price being very prohibitive.

  • I’ve got a one off code for $4541 for this. 83 is too big so going to use it on the c4-77 which is under $3500

    • Is the one off code only for the 83, I am interested if it's for a 65. Tx

      • Only one per purchase. I just haven’t been sure what to buy. It’s LG site wide. Debating if I really need to update my GX77

    • Hi, may I ask how you got this code as I'm looking for the 83 model

    • Where can I get a one off code for the 77" at that price?

  • $4999.01 for Woolworths EPP

  • Realistically to an average person, how does this compare to a $2,000 telly?

    • +4

OLED vs most other technologies is night and day, so researching what is great about OLED would be your first step.

They have the ability to turn off pixels, so black is truly black, which also enhances contrast. Great colour, good brightness, but not the best, they're arguably the best TV technology to this day.

    • +5

I suggest you visit a store and look at OLED vs non OLED side by side. I would never go back to non OLED

    • It’s one of those things you can remain blissful ignorant about, but once you’ve tasted it, you’ll regret wasting so many viewing experiences without it and won’t be able to go back.

    • +1

Once you see what blooming is/looks like, you'll never be unable to see it.

    • For 2k you can get a decent new 55-65” tv or 2nd hand tv, but in the 77-85” range at new prices you’ll only find rubbish.

    • My Samsung 55" telly is 10 years old (no Binge, no Disney+ etc.) and i want to buy a new one at the end of the year, ~75" specifically.
Will take your comments in to consideration, certainly wasn't contemplating spending anything near $5k though.

  • +1

Spent $6500 on my G4 83" OLED during the EOFY sales last year. Worth every penny.

    • Good price!

  • Can EPP be accessed if you are a teacher?

  • +3

It’s actually come down to 4149.16 , the LG corporate site has a 17% discount for st Patrick’s day

    • +1

Yeah just noticed this. With STPATRICKS that expires today.

    • +1

That’s insane, far out I wish I could get this deal

  • It’s showing as 6499 for me

  • Any easy way into the LG EPP? Registered with an edu address and it doesn't seem to show discounts.

    • We all wish…

  • I luckily found I could use my uni email to join this. The listing price is $5524, and $4585 after extra 17% off. Also got 8% CB tracked by Cashrewards. So circa $4250 in the end. Seems not bad

    • +1

Not sure if CashRewards would pay because the coupon code isn't listed on their website.

  • It’s $4586 through LG Edu portal if anyone is quick with coupon code

    • What coupon code please?
      I see only $6499 for 83" C4. thanks

      • Read comments in OP and above

  • @Lionheart STPATRICKS code is not working anymore :(

Anyone know if the Lg delivery guys only put on stand? They wont help me lift onto my existing wall bracket?

  • Too big for my tiny house.

  • I got the LG C4 65" at $2695 delivered and 5 years warranty from good guys. Tx for your help

    • How to get extra warranty

      • Got it in as part of the price at Geelong good guys store

        • Nice, i ordered via their commercial page the new c5 65in i guess will have to pay seperately for extended warranty then.

  • Thanks Op, got the C4 83 for $4149 price matched at HN on St Paddy's Day….now just need to find a buyer/home for my LG OLED 65 C8 !

    • Surprised HN would be willing to price match the cba deal

      • Yes, had to share a screenshot and then it got escalated and took around 3 hours to authorise.

  • How is it comparing to Hisense?

  • was under $4k for the 83" last year - i know because it sold out by the time i got a hold of my CBA mate

  • I have a spare at $4150.. friend pulled out
