Looks to be better than the current price elsewhere. Maybe useful for the ones that have access to the LG EPP.

Edit: Adding that this is via CBA EPP to avoid confusion.

Nope been slightly cheaper at HN of all places: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/852733

83" C series typically get to 5K or below on clearance

Edit: didnt see the CBA + LG discount deal mentioned below in my searching. Spin & Win discounts kinda same boat. For regular deals though 5K is about where its at.

  • Both my HSBC and uni LG accounts are showing as $5849.10. Not sure which EPP it is

      This is Commonwealth Bank

Lowest its been with cba lg discount is $3699

    • Got a link? I got it for 3999 with spin and win (20%) +cashback.
Don't recall seeing lower than that for the 83 c4.

  • How to access this price?

  • $6500 on the site

  • $5,524.15 through LG education.
Not sure what EPP is or what the requirements are to get it.

Any good deal in the 65 or 77? Or any idea on when it will be the best time to purchase a lot C4 tv?

    • I’m after a 77 too. Lowest price now, new sales started a few days ago, is $4,887 at harvey Norman. It has been down to 4,495 at JB around Xmas, but this seems like the final run out time as new models are coming in now.. Question is wait or hope for a lower price before they all sell out. Or go in and try and haggle a bit, try and get free delivery and set up for example

  • Great price, if you can get it.

    Not a bad price.

It might be worth considering the G4, which has MLA.

Shortly after launch I, and others, were able to get a similar enough price at the time.

    • What is a MLA?

Does Gov get EPP access like Samsung ?

  • Expired? Showing $6,499 now for me

  • Waiting for 77 inch G4 to go below $5k. Missed the previous deal a few weeks ago 😔

  • Why don’t OLED tvs get to 98 inch?

    • LG OLED evo G2 comes in 97 inch. Close enough. Very small market for them due to price being very prohibitive.

  • I’ve got a one off code for $4541 for this. 83 is too big so going to use it on the c4-77 which is under $3500

    • Is the one off code only for the 83, I am interested if it's for a 65. Tx

      • Only one per purchase. I just haven’t been sure what to buy. It’s LG site wide. Debating if I really need to update my GX77

Hi, may I ask how you got this code as I'm looking for the 83 model

    • Where can I get a one off code for the 77" at that price?

  • $4999.01 for Woolworths EPP

  • Realistically to an average person, how does this compare to a $2,000 telly?

OLED vs most other technologies is night and day, so researching what is great about OLED would be your first step.

They have the ability to turn off pixels, so black is truly black, which also enhances contrast. Great colour, good brightness, but not the best, they're arguably the best TV technology to this day.

    • I suggest you visit a store and look at OLED vs non OLED side by side. I would never go back to non OLED
