When we bargainers have been spoilt with deals where e.g.. you buy a $9 sim and get $30 back etc, in such context, paying $1 to use ebay (and have a membership) hardly seems like a 'deal'.
A deal in the context of it being of cheaper than before though, no doubt.

I went to the start trail page this morning and and was informed my trail had previously expired (which I knew) and it would cost $49. I then left the page. 10 minutes later I get the email advising $1 for the year.

I recently got charged the $49 for another year of eBay Plus, the charge came through with no pre-warning from eBay. They won't give me a refund and Paypal wouldn't help me when I disputed the charge. I know its a common theme in this thread but don't make the same mistake I did, cancel straight away because eBay sure as hell will do everything they can to not keep you informed and keep your money when you make a mistake.

I too have never used my free trial before. Hopefully there is some way to get the $1 deal still because that is insanely cheap.
