Each to their own, I don't like the texture. Reverse sear for thicker steaks, can even do the first step in an airfryer on lower heat.

That's a good rate for electricity, but not available to everyone. Ausnet, in my area, charge way more for daily rate and per kw/h.

What do you use to clean it? I had the same issue and it's possibly caused by wiping down with a paper towel or scrub daddy sponges.
