  • Very nice!!

    • Thank you for your support! 😁

  • How many of the 4080 super builds do you have in stock?

    • +1

Honestly not a lot… I can't guarantee there'll be stock for long, last deal I could only run for a few days before it was all gone.

  • +2

Looking forward to your 50 series deals

    • Us too!

  • +1

Any chance for a deal with the 7900xtx instead of a 7800xt?

    • +2

Not at this stage, not a very popular SKU.

    • +4

Do you mean $2700 or $1700? The GPU alone is $1250-$1350 at the lowest, this leaves no room for a full system build if you want it under $1700. It'd be extremely difficult, especially this the current FX rate to USD. The lowest likely you can go is high thousands with an older platform maybe 16GBs of RAM which isn't preferred on OzBargain.

      • -3

The HP omen posted on ozbargain was 1900 something, if we use a 5600x which still has great gaming performance when paired with these high end cards, coupled with the super cheap but effective ddr4 ram..

I reckon many will like a deal like that if not most. You have to get rid of old stock anyway right? When is a better time than now for it?

  • -7

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • Not me just spending $3600 on parts for the equivalent PC (for a mate tho)

    • XD

  • +1

Can you play 4k ultra with this

    • +2

      Yes, for sure.

      • -2

        Not Allen wake 2 πŸ˜…

    • Dlss is the way

  • +1

HODL for 5080, just under two months before that one is released, if nothing else, expect 4080 prices to fall

      • +2

4080 is right now the best card you can reasonably buy for Nvidia, since the 4090 has been bought by corporations for machine learning.

        • -1

          For what ? 4k? Doesn't even get 80 fps ….
          For 1440p ?
If you wanna play 4k you need at least 100 fps I recon, otherwise stick to 1440p

          • @botchie: 4k 60 is enough for many, and even 4k 120fps is doable with DLSS 2 for modern AAA games, which is great when even DLSS looks better than no upscaling.
Also, the 4080 Super is the highest-performing card for consumers because the 4090 has seen price hikes due to ML enthusiasts, SMBs and even large-scale enterprises buying up all the stock for machine learning, because the H100 and A100 are so expensive due to the demand for AI.

            • @FujinShu: so 4070ti at 4k is what 15% MAX slower
              Starfield 54 vs 60 fps
              Cyberpunk 48 v 54
              RDR2 - 84 vs 99
              4070ti you can get for $1150 mark - cheapest 4080 is $1600

how is it a good card?

if I want to play at 4k, I think 4090 is a min to have - next gen 4k will be more in reach
if your an enthusiast then you pay $3k for a 4090 - that price has stayed the same for a while - maybe it dipped a bit under at some point but AUD is weak now as well so that adds to it.

  • +1

i liked the MSI deal better - better parts, better game (star wars) more $$ in rewards
with 4080s you get 20 more fps in 1440p - worth it??

    • Which one is msi deal

    • Do you think there's an MSI deal giving performance more or less on par to the $2k machine here?

      • +1

7800 xt vs 4070ti s? - its about 10-20% to nvidia , then add in DLSS, RT if that matters to you - think MSI had better cooler too

        • Thanks, appreciate your response mate.

    • Star Wars promo has ended with NVIDIA now unfortunately, the value will depend on the user. Some people have given us feedback that they don't want Steam gift cards, this is an alternative. Previous MSI 9800X3D is out of stock now as well at this stage.

      • Any chance the MSI 9800X3D will be coming back in stock?

        • Not at this stage unfortunately, it will depend on various factors like stock. IT is a fast-moving industry and I can't promise yes or no as of now.

  • +2

God damn. I was just on your site earlier playing around with a 7800x3d + 4080S config but with more premium parts everywhere else but this is a hard deal to pass up.

    • 😁

  • guys should i wait for 5000 series or buy 4080 super now?

    • -3

      buy 4090

    • asking for a no GPU build for this reason 5090 looks to be early next year and paired with the 9800X3D it will be an absolute beast.

      • Ridiculous beast. Beyond enthusiast level

        Want

      • -1

You can always sell GPU , buy a decent system that will fit 4090 and pair with 850 PSU , then you can evaluate and upgrade when new gear comes in

  • Damn, this 4070tis deal is freaking tempting

    • 😁

  • +1

Will you be doing any BYO deals? I don't need a GPU or case

    • +1

Not at this stage, all systems will need a GPU to come with as that's how we can maximise value on these systems.

  • +1

Any chance you can do the Lian Li A3 with the wood?

    • +6

ETA is likely early Dec, we can do it as long as you are okay wit hit. I can't guarantee it will come around then, it's estimated. Only A3 black at this stage.

If you're okay with waiting I can add it as a pre-order option with ETA listed.

      • I'm still thinking about it but would greatly appreciate the option to pre-order :)

        • +1

Okay! I will add the option in :).

          • @Nebula PC: I'm also interested in the A3 in wood, how well would the 4080S etc work/fit in the case, and thoughts on thermals and temps? I live in rural WA where 35 degree days are the norm and the room my PC is in has no air con or windows, so it can get quite hot. I personally prefer the smaller firm factor case and no/minimal RGB look but if it will be an issue with the system then a bigger/cooler case will have to do.

            • +1

@bassmaniac69: The case is a massive mesh panel, it is as good as it gets for cooling. You can add extra case fans for better temps as they come with none.

          • @Nebula PC: Thanks Rep - By the way, it doesn't let me add to cart as the case isn't in stock

            • +1

@Emance: Fixed regarding adding to cart.

            • @Emance: Myself include! Trying to add that Lian Li Dan A3 (wood) but not working.

      • Would this be the mesh or glass panel?

        • +1

          Mesh panel only.

  • When and how would I get the gift card? Does it come with the PC when it's shipped?

    • It will not come with the PC when it's shipped, redemption instructions will be sent upon despatch. GIGABYTE requests to allow up to 10 business days to review the application. You will need a photo of the system as well as part of the redemption process.

      • Ok, makes sense. How would the redemption instructions be sent? Via email?

        • Yes, via email you input on the order.

  • Hi Nebula, is there an option to replace the CPU cooler with something else (with the associated cost of course)?

  • I know details are scarce, but thoughts on how this will mobo will suit rtx 50 series in future? Was thinking of doing this deal and swapping 50 series in once they come out since I have another pc which I can pass down which could use the GPU boost.

    • It will support the 50 series GPUs as long all other components can support it such as case size and PSU power.

  • token gigabyte motherboards are no good post

  • There's been a few deals lately with the 7800XT, some as low as $1148. Obviously the motherboards are different, is there a material or noticeable difference?

    • Noticeable in what sense? It will depend on the CPU and features you're after. If the features suffice and VRMs are suitable for the CPU there will be no performance benefit.

      • Sorry, my ignorance is showing in that question. I was curious about the relationship between the GPU and the CPU and what difference you could expect using an R5/R7/R9 with the same 7800XT.

        • +1

Oh right, these kind of results will vary from case to case depending on the game etc… There are lots of benchmarks available online if you search 7800XT with 7500F for example which can give you an indication of the performance difference. If your use case is more CPU heavy then a higher end CPU will be beneficial for you.

  • @Nebula PC Can you offer a build with no GPU option please just want a mITX tower with the 9800X3D 64gb of ram, 1 ssd 1Tb, 650w PSU

    • Not possible at this stage, an extremely small amount of 9800X3D's available on hand. They will all need to be paired with a GPU as a full system build, GPU is also required for the GIGABYTE promotion. Apologies for this.

      • I don't mind no GIGABYTE gift card so no PC builds at all with the 9800X3D only ?

        • -1

Not possible sorry, they will need to come with a GPU in a full system.

  • @Nebula PC Is possible to add X870 or X870E motherboard to the 9800x3d/4080S options?

    • Only have a handful of high end models that people may not like, I will add them now.

  • -1

Why dont these pcs come with windows installed by default? May as well build it into the price and say its free? $175 sounds way too much to add on.

    • +2

because for those of us that already have licenses or will put something else on it makes these less competitive.

      • -2

Fair. But large majority of users would want it added and 175 a bit steep. +100 maybe

        • +5

Well you are suggesting just hiding the price and including it, how is that better? ignorance is bliss?

          • -4

@gromit: Yeah well most people who buy prebuilt are noobs right. Pros just build themselves.

            • @blackmoresbioc: Soo what you are saying they should hide it and fleece those that don't need it so the ignorant don't learn what things cost?

              • @gromit: If people wanted to learn what things cost they would never pay $175 for windows 11.

                • @blackmoresbioc: why? it is a tiny price to pay for the system that drives your internet access, productivity and gaming. A copy of office costs more, a copy of adobe cloud suite costs exponentially more. a couple of games that people play for short period cost more.

            • @blackmoresbioc: Pretty sure the people building these are pros.

  • +1

making it soooo hard not to pull the trigger now. my RX6800 is flaky as/bordering on death, was hoping to hold till 50 series though. decisions decisions.

    • How the hell is that nearly dead? Couldn't be that old…

      • 4 years old, gamed on heavily and run in a mini ITX case which for a time had an overheating problem due to a faulty case fan. Card will regularly freeze now and make pretty colours on the screen, the DSUB port is stone dead (hdmi works). Still it is limping along and working mostly for now.

  • Sorry but what are the dimensions for the Nebula N5 case please.

    • +1

      335x275x355mm :).

  • @Nebula PC Can you link me to the $2048 deal? The link above links to the top price one.

  • +1

    9800X3D + 5080

    • soon

  • Still waiting for a really good deal under $1K …will wait but keep it coming

    • For sure soon!

  • +2

Must hold till 5000 series or new AMD gpus but so hard not to pull the trigger

    • 😁
