OZB_BLACKFRIDAY$500OFF

Hi OzBargain,

Thank you for your awesome support on our latest $225 Steam gift card Vortex system, we've been smashed with orders and will try our absolute best to despatch within our estimated timeframe of 7-10 business days. Today we're rolling out our exclusive Black Friday sales with some banger value 1440P systems again but this time powered by GIGABYTE with a bonus $100AUD Prezzee E Gift Card via redemption*. Can be redeemed and used with numerous retailers rather than Steam only where some people may find more value in. Two free games from AMD as well via redemption valued at $160 (Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 and Unknown 9: Awakening). Both on the latest AM5 platform and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ready to smash 1440P gaming. For 1440P gaming and an all rounder rig, these prices don't get better than this to my knowledge. Nothing on the market at this price point for these configurations and promotions.

Great deals! Prezee gift cards are great!!

    • +1

That's the goal for people who don't value the Steam gift cards! 😁

  • 7800XT good to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Baldur's Gate 3 on 4k?

    • 7800XT is an ultra graphics 144Hz 1440p card, so depends on your definition of 'good to play'. It won't be hitting those super high frame rates if you're running at 4K.

You can expect ~65fps raster or so for ultra BG3 at 4K.

      • I wouldn't call it an ultra 144hz 1440p card in 2024, as it sits around a 6800XT (slightly worse in some games). Sure if it released back when the 6800XT did that would be the case, but because of UE5 it's more like a high-ultra 60-90FPS 1440p card (Alan Wake 2, Black Myth Wukong, Star Wars Outlaws etc). You'd need a 4080 to hit that performance target these days.

    • +3

Probably fine as long as you aren't shooting for high framerates.
      Check out https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html
Scroll down to 'GPU Benchmarks Ranking 2024' and click the arrows to check out 4k Ultra
7800 XT seems be just above the line for 4k Ultra gaming at 60fps
Keeping in mind that I have an RX 6800 on 1440p which says it generally runs around 90fps on Ultra settings. However most of the games I play (WoW, BG3, PoE) hit 180fps no problem. So take it all with a grain of salt

Of course this is a generalist ranking, so different games will have different outcomes. Also you don't have to run everything at Ultra.

Additional AFMF2 just released and is pretty damn great for games that aren't fast-paced.

    • I think would be playable but not recommended, would be ok if you're on a tight budget. I would recommend it for 1440P instead.

    • It's bait! Must resist being sarcastic! Enjoy your games!

  • Ooooooo this is fantastic. Prezee is very nice! Might try swindle my BIL to get it for him and his son.

    • Thank you for your support ❤️.

  • Hi, question about the nebula fans.

Do they use a system fan header or molex and can there speed be adjusted.

    • They're molex fans, not PWM. Speed is a set speed and can't be adjusted. Good value set of fans that look and work great but features are limited to keep the price as low as possible for a bargain.

    • -2

      Their speed*

Any chance of seeing a deal on something more suited for photoshop, illustrator, and video editing work in the future? These are great deals.

    • All these systems would be suitable, you might need a little bit more CPU grunt but still has fantastic value for all-round use cases. Depending on your use case you might not need a beefy GPU, that's what makes them gaming PCs.

      • Yeah I was hoping to possibly see something with a beefier CPU. These deals are awesome, and realisitically will suit most of my needs, but I do like a meaty CPU.

        • +1

Will keep it in the books for sure, to my knowledge generally OzBargain market likes beefy GPUs though I could be wrong.

          • @Nebula PC: Everyone's a wannabe PewdieNinjaFaker ;)

          • @Nebula PC: Yeah most are beef fans.

Although once Techfast released GPUless AMD pc which was a great office pc for around $600 I think?

  • Hi, I just bought the Solis Elite 4060ti system 2 days ago. Any chance I could swap over to the Nexus Elite?

    • +1

For sure, please email us at [email protected] with the final configuration and we'll swap it over. Will send you the difference if there is one :).

      • Thanks!!

  • Has anyone used a config like Nexus Elite for a local LLM?

    • +2

For machine learning? To my knowledge ML systems really like NVIDIA Cuda cores, likely better to go with an NVIDIA GPU rig with our other live deals.

      • Thanks for the advice!

  • If I wanted to upgrade from the Nebula cases, what would you folks recommend? I'd like at least one USB-C port.
Also is the SSD okay? It seems a little slow but I don't know how noticeable it is during gaming.

    • NX500M would be the next lowest priced case for a USB C port, will also need a motherboard upgrade to support front USB C.

It suffices for gaming, has quite fast read and write speeds in general and is much faster than your traditional 3.5" HDD.

      • Thanks for the advice!
Just to clarify, does that mean the base motherboard is not compatible with the USB-C port on the NX500M?

        • There's no USB-C front panel header on the motherboard so no, it won't work.

The motherboard included in these deals is really quite crappy. Gotta do what they gotta do to keep the price down, I guess.

  • Ripper deals
I'm keen on getting the nexus elite, but wanting to upgrade the CPU to one that won't bottleneck the build.
Keen on the 7700x CPU, but $359 seems like a steep price difference between the 7500f and the 7700x. Any chance that can be reduced?

    • +1

A bit hard as we have bulk pricing for the 7500F and can pass on more of a discount, the CPU won't bottleneck the build. Most AAA titles are more GPU heavy rather than CPU, you'll be sweet. 7500F is fantastic value for its price point and performance.

      • Yeah I appreciate you guys get solid bulk pricing, even with that considered though, $359 to upgrade to the 7700x seems like a fairy large jump when there's normally about $200 between the two CPUs.

Thinking I'll go ahead with the sale, and go with the 7500f because the value is too good vs $359 upgrade.
Decent chance I'll want to upgrade to the 7700x, and resell the 7500f.

I assume being sent the 7500f still new in its original packaging is out of the question? That'd be perfect if allowed.
Otherwise can I ask to be sent 7500f cpu packaging box?

        • +1

Understand! 7500F comes in bulk for us, with no retail packaging, unfortunately. Can send generic plastic AMD packaging from another CPU though.

  • +1

Hi, is there a version of this that can include the MSI 225usd deal? I would prefer the steam card over $100 gift card, but do want the 7800xt over the NVIDIA builds

    • Not with the 7800XT unfortunately, no stock available for AMD GPUs from MSI. Will have to be either a GIGABYTE or ASUS 7800XT with us, this deal would be your best option available for a gift card promotion.

  • Any way we can increase the size of the primary SSD

    • Not possible at this stage sorry as GIGABYTE's SSD range is quite small. You can add a secondary M.2 if you upgrade your motherboard to the PLUS version. It can be any brand or size.

  • Is the 4070 super deal for 1498 worth the extra over this?

    • yes.

    • Will depend on your needs and budget :).

  • phew! I thought it was i5-8400F

  • Can you share specs for the Case: Nebula N5 - Black?

    • Yes I would like to know this as well. Could not find any information online. What do GPU and CPU long term temps look like with standard config in the basic case? How is the airflow compared to say the ANTEC NX200M RGB mATX - Black? (Would it be worth upgrading)

    • Thank you for mentioning this. We're working on a product page for our cases and more, packed with work currently but will have this done soon.
