wow, great upgrade price to the 4060Ti! - defo worth looking at the bit extra consdiering the huge performance increase!

  • What's the estimated dispatch times? And how long normally for delivery to Melbourne? Edit: How do I apply promo code successfully? Keeps saying: "OZB_SPRING$500OFF discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart"

    • Our despatch times are 7-10 business days from the order date, each system is hand-built meticulously and we have hundreds in the backlog. Once despatched delivery is extremely fast as we use express couriers only.

The following are our estimated delivery time frames with our couriers after despatch:
Metro Sydney – Same-day delivery (for business addresses, authority to leave and customers available to take delivery)
Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong, and Newcastle - Same-day delivery (for business addresses, authority to leave and customers available to take delivery)
All other non-listed major regional town in NSW - Next business day
Metro Melbourne – Next business day
Metro Brisbane – Next business day
      ACT – Next business day
Metro Adelaide – 2 business days
      Tasmania – 3-4 business days
Metro Perth – 4-5 business days
      Northern Territory - 5 - 7 days

    • Link for Catalyst system was wrong, has been updated thank you. Please go to https://www.nebulapc.com.au/products/catalyst and use OZB_SPRING$500OFF to bring price down to $1498 advertised for the Catalyst system.

  • Keeping an eye out for a BYO GPU system like you had back in March (wanting my 3070 to be the bottleneck, not bottlenecked).

    • +1

Will keep this one in mind, lots of great value for deals inclusive of GPU these days. Main reason why there hasn’t been a new BYO GPU build.

  • When I click on the Catalyst link, the tab that opens says Fuze instead. Is that correct?

    • Has been fixed, sorry for the small error :).

  • +1

One thing I'd love for the website by the way, is when you click "more info" it actually gives you more info and better pictures, currently it's basically useless and I have to google the items to find out info.

    • A bit hard as we have so many options :(. Thank you for your feedback, I will talk to our developer and see if we can find a better purpose for that button.

      • +1

Honestly just a link to the items website would be fine too, save you a bunch of development time and makes the button useful.

  • +1

    Must…resist…..

  • Sorry for dumb question, but will the $120USD steam card promotion still be running around black friday time? Wanting to buy a PC around the $1000 price range so am saving up until black friday. Hopefully I made sense!

    • Not a dumb question at all. The best time to buy is when you’re ready to buy. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on whether it’d still be around then as it’s a promotion funded by MSI and ultimately it’s their discretion regarding the dates and supply. There is limited supply to my knowledge for that promotion, you can read more with the full T&C’s here - https://au.msi.com/Promotion/anz-get-powered-by-msi-2024.

How close are we to a new generation of graphics cards?
Would I be a fool to buy something with a 7800xt or better card right now?

    • +2

That’s still a very good graphics card for its price point, the 7800XT. You wouldn’t be a fool to buy it.

    • +2

You buy what you need for your budget. There is always 'better' down the line but the future roadmaps for Nvidia and AMD are:
Nvidia: 50xx series, 600W power just for the card alone Priced $$$ higher than 4th gen
AMD: 7900 XTX last halo card for a while, not planning compete that high end so will target Mid-range for the near term.
Intel: Just hit 0% effective market share so selling so little that it's hard to even keep on a GPU list.

  • +1

Price is around 28% more from 4060ti to 4070 super. Is that worth it? Or is the performance less than 10% better?

    • +1

If on 1440P it's worth it, more than 28% performance boost from benchmarks online from RTX 4060 Ti to RTX 4070 SUPER - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VB1EeP4fwJk. If we're talking just price to performance, much better value for your dollar.

    • I was leaning towards a 4060ti system for my wife for 1440p but ended up getting a 7800xt deal for a similar price. I don't like the idea of 8gb Vram these days and the 7800xt almost keeps up with my 4070, and is super quiet despite the reviews saying otherwise.

I would be going a tier higher than 4060 if you can afford the exta $$ and want some logevity.

  • I'm certainly in market for a new PC, I've been eyeing off the steam deals…. What would be your recommended upgrade for this to run 4k? I'll definately want 32gb of ram….

  • Since I am not luck at JB, looking for pc now. 4070s better than ps5 pro?

    • definitely…. ps5 pro can only run games at 4k30fps…

  • +1

Which is best value for 1440p gaming?

    • 4070S build

    • 4070 SUPER systems.

  • +2

Satisfied customer here from a couple of previous deals. Bought for my partner and I, and was so happy with the product and the packaging/delivery.

    • +1

Thank you for your support! ❤️

  • If I get upgrade the Catalyst to AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, which of the available CPU cooling options should I get?

    • AG400 is enough in general, AK500 for a beefy one that will work even better.

  • How does the Surge - MSI RTX 4060 OC compare to the Solis - MSI RTX 4060 OC? It looks like they both use the same parts except the Surge has a PSU - Gigabyte P650SS 650W 80+ Silver while the Solis has a PSU - MSI A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze. Other than that the Solis is $50 more expensive but has a $120 USD steam gift card. Which deal would be better value in the long run?

    • Both will perform essentially the same, it just depends what you value more in terms of the Steam gift card or just a straight low price without any redemption promotions.

MSI motherboard does have more features like a secondary M.2 slot and USB C port on the rear so that may work out better for you in the long run depending on your use case :).

  • Bought the Cyro from the last deal and it hasn't been shipped yet. Should have waited for the Catalyst

    • 16GB of RAM and a $120 USD steam card for $140. Not too bad I guess

      • Yup, $120USD Steam Gift card and tier one components all around isn't too bad for a deal for the Cyro. Both are excellent value, can't go wrong with either.

  • 2 x 8gb ram for a 4070 super aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    • not enough>?

    • That's what we do, we do bargains for OzBargain, for this particular deal it's absolute rock bottom pricing for 1440P rigs with these configurations :). 32GB upgrade is available on the system builder though!

  • In the market for an upgrade from my current system:
    R5 3600 / 2070S was going to go -> 5700X3D / 4070S ($1256 roughly) / 5700X3D / 4070TiS ($1600)

Is it just more economical to go for this 4070S deal? Or one of the previous gen upgrades..?

    • I would say it's better to go to the current new gen, AM4 platform support will end shortly and AMD have pledged a very long roadmap/lifespan for the AM5 platform. Cost difference for a new build on the AM5 platform is a few hundred dollars but will most definitely perform better (compared to previous-gen to new-gen CPUs) and be more future-proofed than anything on the AM4 platform. With such a small cost difference, an upgrade to the new AM5 platform I believe is better value and more economical.

  • Any deals with a 4070 ti super?

    • Yup! Got an awesome Powered by MSI one here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/869180

      • Awesome. Will there be a slightly cheaper deal that doesn't include the steam voucher?

        • At this stage no, I think demand for a higher end rig and 16GB RAM etc won't be too popular.

Maybe going 5600 AM4 can reduce cost slightly but again I think demand will be low. Anything can change though, currently the AM5 rig is fantastic value.

  • Anyone else read that as $5000 off? Wishful thinking for a < $1k 4090 deal haha

    • We would go bankrupt and definitely would not be able to offer these deals haha.

  • Do you ever have crazy good deals like this on a 4070 ti super build? Tempted by that 4070 build but would love a little more power.

  • @Nebula PC Why 7500f cpu. I am definitely in the market for a gaming PC. When are the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or even Ryzen 5 7600X deals coming. For cooling efficiency looking for atx not mini.

    • 7500F is excellent value on the latest AMD platform. 7800X3D pricing has gone up and there is a stock shortage.

7600X demand is very low, the real performance difference between 7500F and 7600X is negligible for the price difference. People on OzBargain want a bargain, 7500F is the best CPU for price to performance. ATX case upgrades are available on our website for better cooling :). We don't do mini ITX, they're mostly mATX (micro ATX) but cooling is sufficient.

      For benchmarks, see here on 1440P for 7500F + 4070 S - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv7l7LhGNkE. Great combo.

  • Hi Nebula team
I’m looking at the 4070 super deal. I haven’t used a PC in a while so after some advice for ordering

    Needs:
    Office suite
    10+ internet tabs

    Wants:
    1. Gaming NOT in 4k
    Forever love: dota2
    Interested in: cyberpunk

2.photoshop and premiere for family purposes

    1. Considering some screen recording to make educational videos

Looking at windows 11 home and 32gb ram upgrades

It looks like the 7500f or 7600 should be a decent cpu but the internet screams for the 7800x3d.

Thoughts? Any other oddities/bottlenecks or suggestions?

    Thanks

    • Hi,

32GBs of RAM would be essential however the CPU part will depend on your budget and how CPU intensive your games are. To my knowledge Dota 2 is CPU intensive so you will reap the benefits from the 7800X3D speeds. Both 7500F and 7800X3D are fantastic options, if you have the budget for it go with the 7800X3D!
