Hi OzBargain,

Today we're introducing our new exclusive OzBargain range of gaming rigs Powered by MSI that all come with a bonus $120USD Steam gift card along with a $500 off coupon for OzBargain! These rigs are awesome for people who weren't too convinced about our recent AM5 RTX 4060, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4070 SUPER rigs and need that extra push to get them over the line. Redemption can be made directly through MSI - https://au.msi.com/Promotion/anz-get-powered-by-msi-2024. Absolute ripper value again on all three rigs catering for all types of budgets whilst still future-proofing on the AM5 platform! Fantastic for 1080P gaming on the RTX 4060/Ti rigs and 1440P for RTX 4070 SUPER! If your budget is stricter you can also get away with light 1440P gaming on the RTX 4060 Ti rig 😁.

As this is a promotion funded by MSI, we have no control or distribution of the Steam gift cards. We can't bring the price down further unfortunately as redemption is made directly with MSI, not us. However, once you receive your Steam gift card you are welcome to do whatever you'd like to try offset your cost further :).

how does the $500 coupon work?

    • +2

Use OZB_PBM_$500OFF in checkout to bring price down to advertised price on this post!

  • Hey Lawrence

Those are some great deals, would it be possible to upgrade the 4070s to 2x16GB and opt for a smaller case?

    Cheers

    Leo

    • Thanks Leo! Yes, 32GB (2x16GB) upgrade is available on the system builder 😁. The N3 really is the smallest case we can go without restricting airflow too much, it's super compact at just 31.5x18.5x41cm (LxWxH) and mATX.

      • Thanks for that, and say if i want max the airlow, should i go with the NX200M? or N3 is good enough for the 4070 build?

        • +2

Go with NX200M as it has a front mesh panel with two front intake fans for better airflow. Our N3 cases are a dual glass setup which looks great but unfortunately the compromise is airfolow.

          • @Nebula PC: I am also curious does N3 good enough for 4070 build? I saw another deal from you is N3 case with 4070 Ti Super. So I am keen to know does N3 is enough for cooling when play high performance games. Thanks.

            • @iamccc1234: It's acceptable but not the most the best in cooling compared to cases with front mesh panels and intake fans.

  • Great deal on the 4070 super!

    • Super popular GPU right now with this kind of price point!

  • Really wish you shipped to NZ.

    • +2

We really can't due to warranty reasons, we can't provide a return to base service to and from NZ due to costs. International freight is very complicated and expensive. We provide a 3 year return to base warranty on all systems, this can only be done domstically.

  • the $2188 4070ti super "Striker Elite" deal keeps getting linked at the end of your posts, but then it's sold out when you go to that deal? is it available again or something?

    • Striker Elite with 7800X3D is sold out yes, sorry. 7800X3D has a global shortage and the price has gone up, we can't offer the Striker Elite pricing anymore for this reason. It's being linked as the Striker with the 7500F is still available.

  • Able to do a variant with 7800X3D and 4080 super?

    • this one? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/865583

Just noticed the Steam gift card is from MSI GPU. This one is PNY GPU unfortunately.

    • Only available through this deal currently - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/865583.

We have only a handful of 7800X3D CPUs to honour pricing for the above deal before we have to pull it. Pricing for MSI 4080 SUPER is also a tad too high compared to this deals offerings.

  • -2

OP - what would US steam card can be used for ?

    • You can use it to purchase Steam games or anything on the Steam platform like skins for games etc…

      • thanks Ordered one as its been long due. Hopefully you'll ship it out soon :-)

        • Thank you for your support! We're working as fast as we can :).

    • Buying cs skins basically

  • 1TB MSI SPATIUM M460 Gen4 M.2 (R: 5000MB/s | W: 4500MB/s)

Have one of these on a Ryzen 5600GT Gen 3 and it maxes out on benchmark tests. Crazy SSD for the price.

    • Awesome SSD for its price!

  • Hi Rep,

In your post you link to a 4070 Ti Super build that is currently sold out. Is it possible to get this deal or do you have an alternative build available?

    Thanks

    • Striker Elite with 7800X3D is sold out yes, sorry. 7800X3D has a global shortage and the price has gone up, we can't offer the Striker Elite pricing anymore for this reason. It's being linked as the Striker with the 7500F is still available.

Metro Perth – 4-5 business days
      Northern Territory - 5 - 7 days

  • Damn just bought the Fuze Elite last night…
Since the Fuze Elite has a MSI 4060 TI, would I still be able to redeem the steam card?

    • Negative sorry about that, MSI Advanced systems need to have four MSI components to be eligible.

Could you please email us your configuration on the Solis Elite you'd like and we can swap it over to that one to be eligible for the gift card promotion?

  • Any good PCs for 5k video editing?

    • Will depend on your budget, video editing uses both heavy on the CPU and GPU to my knowledge. The higher you go the better you will get in terms of rendering and editing performance.

      • Don't forget RAM, it typically loads the timeline into ram for scrubbing etc.

        • Correct, 32GBs of RAM will be very helpful!

  • Hello everyone and OP.
I'm a newby and I'd like to ask, i just want a rig that i can use for simulation games such as MS flight, games but nothing too hard core and some video editing. Also trying to future proof for a few years.
    Any recommendations grately appreciated.

    • You commented on my recommendation

      • Apologies, newby in everyway.

    • MS Flight Sim is very intensive on 1440P, last I checked the recommended specs were a 4070 Ti. Your best system would be the AM5 platform system like the ones in this deal with the 4070 SUPER as it's closest to the 4070 Ti in performance. This is if you're playing on 1440P, if 1080P the 4060 Ti rig will perform great!

The 9000 series AMD CPUs use the same AM5 platform so this is as future proof as you can get without breaking the bank. For video editing I'd recommend RAM to be upgraded to 32GBs to allow for better multitasking, the CPU and GPU will be awesome for it.

      • Thankyou so much.

  • +3

Beware that their custom made Nebula ATX cases are pretty bad in terms of cooling and ventilation. They come with 1 fan only and the ventilation is so poor that the CPU temps reach 90+ degrees which will shorten the CPU life.

    • AMD CPUs are engineered to operate their whole lifetime at 95 degrees. It won't shorten CPU life and is the target temperature for optimal performance according to AMD - https://community.amd.com/t5/gaming/ryzen-7000-series-proces…. Due to the dual glass panel design, it's inevitable airflow and cooling is limited. I would recommend upgrading to a case with a front mesh panel and intake fans for better airflow if you're concerned about the CPU temperatures :). This current trend of fish tank cases really isn't the best in terms of practicality.

    • +2

I bought a 4070 super with an AMD 7500 with the N3 case, and it was like having an electric oven in the room, I had to change CPU cooler and I’m looking at changing the case, it was running at 96 degrees de CPU and 85 de GPU, imagine that

      • +1

Hey mate, have u managed to change the case? Any comment on the 4070s+7500f? Would it able to run the new monkey game? or say lightroom & some light video editing?
        Cheers

        • +1

I’ll get the new case tomorrow and I’ll let you know, Wukong runs at 100 fpt with all graphics at high and temperatures close to 85 to the GPU .

The machine is awesome, just horrendous air flow , I would not recommend this with the N3 case and the stock AMD fan

          • @gnrnacho: Thank you for the feedback, we take it seriously. For our next shipment of cases, we will work on a model that will have better airflow for the high-performing machines. For the 1080P RTX 4060/Ti rigs, they don't get the hot and airflow suffices. Totally understand where you come from with the higher end rigs with cooling and airflow.

            • @Nebula PC: Hey mate, last question before purches, any comment on the AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler? Is it good enough for the 4070s build? should i go with the DeepCool AG400?

              Cheers,

              • @asxzswqaz: The stock AMD Wraith cooler is not the best when it comes to cooling under load. We would recommend upgrading to at least an aftermarket tower cooler like the DeepCool AG400 for better CPU cooling.

  • Are you doing any deals over the PAX AUS weekend?

    • Nothing out of the orindary at this stage.

  • Great price. Waiting for 5070

  • Would of definitely went with the 4070 Super for the missus, if I hadn't just got the 7800 XT rig from you. Got the email today saying it's on its way, fast turn around as per usual.

    • Ah all good! Both are fantastic options :).

  • Can I bring my own case to your warehouse in bankstown?

    • +2

Will incur a small labour fee as we're not familiar with the case and not supplying the case, our operations process is extremely streamlined as this kind of business is volume-based. Margins run extremely thin and customisation and special requests are limited for this reason. If it were fast fashion with 500% margin on a hoodie then it's a different story. It would be best to go with a case that we have on offer for the smoothest process for both ends. We're talking single digit margins, every dollar counts. We also can't warrant anything in relation to the case that wasn't supplied by us. If the case were supplied by us then we can warrant the whole system.

      Hope you understand!

      • Do you have any lian li Dan a3 cases?

        • Yes, available. I can add this option in if you'd like.

          • @Nebula PC: Yes that would be great, thanks. Any wood colour option?

          • @Nebula PC: I would also be interested in the same case if its an option for the 4070 super

          • @Nebula PC: Yes please. I dont yet see this in the option list

          • @Nebula PC: @Nebula PC same here

            • @meowmeowbeans: Thank you all for your interest, I've added the Dan A3 case temporarily as we only have a handful left for the Warden system. The wood variant is all gone, sorry all :(.

Edit: We've secured some more wood A3's coming early next week, I've added it to the system builder as well! 😁

              • @Nebula PC: Dang pulled the trigger too early, can I email to get it modified?

                Thanks for adding the option!

                • @meowmeowbeans: Yes of course, please let me know an we can upgrade parts and swap around in the back end.

                  • @Nebula PC: Is 650w enough for the 4070 super warden system with 32gb ram?

                    • @brainactive: Yes, plenty of power for that setup. As long as it's a reliable PSU and the rating is real. We use 650W PSUs for 4070 Ti SUPER with no issues whatsoever.

                      • @Nebula PC: Thanks for the confirmation. Also, it seems the stock AMD cooler is less than ideal so I'm wondering if I would be able to replace it after I receive the system? Or is it stuck on once it's installed?

  • Nebula pc the Best around

    • Thank you for your support! ❤️

  • +1

Be warned as these are OzB exclusives, the negative keys are removed from all keyboards bundled!

    • Hey mate, I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you're talking about in regards to keyboards bundled. We aren't running a keyboard promotion with this deal, are you referring to another reseller promotion maybe? MSI isn't running a keyboard bundle promotion to the best of my knowledge.

      • +2

They were jokingly saying you won't be able to leave negative votes on Nebula deals on Ozbargain.

  • Hi, Nebula - how does this 4070 Super build stack up compared to the Echo - GIGABYTE RX 7800XT build that can be had for $1,488 (noting that this has 32gb of ram).

    Thanks!

    • Gigabyte is much reliable…

    • 4070 SUPER performs better with NVIDIA's tech, in raw performance 7800XT is great and better performance per dollar. It all comes down to your budget and needs. If you play a lot of games that support DLSS and their technology along with the budget that can support it then the 4070 SUPER would be a better option.

  • Had to ask, which can play wukong at highest setting? Lol

    • The Warden with 4070 SUPER with DLSS and Frame Generation on would be your best option 😁.

  • Hey Lawrence. Are there any plans to offer builds suited specifically for MSFS closer to its release date? Would appreciate a low-cost and a mid-cost option. Cheers

    • +1

No plans, your best option would be the Warden rig as that game is quite demanding. Last I checked the recommended specs were a 4070 Ti (non SUPER), the 4070 SUPER's performance is closest to the 4070 Ti that doesn't break the bank.

  • Hi Nebula PC, can you add the Lian Li DAN-A3 Wood mATX Case - Black to your Iso model?

    • +1

      Done!

      • Hey mate, sorry for noob question here, but how's the air flow for Li Dan-a3 compare with the NX200M

        • NX200M has three fans with two front intake fans so airflow is better.

      • Thankyou!
Are there any differences in the iso and the warden if i select all the same components?

        • Very similar system, just different branded components. Warden is eligible for the MSI $120 USD gift card promotion as it has four MSI components. Warden runs a bit more costly than Iso due to parts being slightly more.

  • Hi @Nebula PC

Could you give more case option on the Solis - MSI RTX 4060 OC deal please?
How about the Lian Li x Dan Case (black) or Asus Prime AP201 (black), what do you recommend?

    Thanks in advance.

    • Yea, would be great if there is more case option for Solis. Looking to get one but cant find any cases that I like. Hopefully AP201 is an option

    • AP201 would have better airflow as they come with one rear exhaust fan, if you'd like we can add either as an option for the Solis.

      • Can you add AP201 for Solis please?

        • +1

          Done!

          • @Nebula PC: Thanks! Just got it. What os does the pc come with by default?

  • are the customizable part all compatible like cpu and ram etc?

    • Yes, all compatible. If it's on the builder it's compatible :).

  • Hey what is the lead time on getting the Warden built atm?

I am near to Bankstown and would like to get it soon as I have just lost my job and need to return my company laptop. You might think who buys a gaming PC after losing their job?! :D

It is actually cheaper for me to get this than a decent MacBook plus I can do gaming on it.

    • Our despatch times are 7-10 business days from the order date, each system is hand-built meticulously and we have hundreds in the backlog. It will be the same turnaround for pick up order, only difference is shorter lead time for delivery as we can't control the courier network.

  • Hey I was wondering how long will this deal be going on until?

    • Until we sell out, stock is going fast on this one. Lots of value on the Steam gift cards :).

      • Bought the Solis ;) can’t wait!

        • Thank you for your support! ❤️

  • Its very confusing prices SOLIS RRP is $2000 then its on "special" for $1600 then its extra $500 off to $1098 However searching google the RRP eg of a better system 4060ti is $1600 from Centercom??

    https://www.centrecom.com.au/centre-com-thunder-v2-ryzen-5-7…

So really is this what Woolies and Coles in trouble with ACCC is similar to these weird pricings??

    • Hi @HarleyQuinn888,

There shouldn't be much confusion, these are our OzBargain exclusive system builds with the special promotional code (OZB_PBM_$500OFF) will bring your price down to the advertised price. Other retailers are able to list their prices at their discretion, it's a free market. At times the RRP might be higher and at other times it might be lower.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
