  • Do you offer any configuration with dual GPUs ?

    • +14

      Hi Paul,

This is not really a thing anymore, it's very expensive to run dual GPUs and demand for this has diminished greatly as singular GPUs offer better price to performance. Only in very special circumstances, you will need to run dual or more GPUs. We can do it but it will have to be a custom order :). To the best of my knowledge, there is very little to no demand for this kind of setup on OzBargain.

Let me know what you're after and I'll try my best to cater. Likely a singular 4080 SUPER or 4090 will be well more than enough for your needs. I don't know your exact needs so please keep in mind I am assuming here from what I know the overall market requires.

      Lawrence

        • +5

We can do it but it won't be an OzBargain style kind of deal, very very high-end. If you have the budget and are certain about that setup we can look into it more.

      • I'm not currently looking for a new machine, but here's the + for the store rep. :)

        • Thank you for your support!

        Rip SLI

  • Will there be any issues with thermals when upgrading to 7800x3d in the future?

    • None whatsoever, we're using 7800X3D with both B650M Plus and non-plus. Plus version does have better VRMs, the AG400 cooler suffices for the 7800X3D. The CPU really doesn't get that hot but of course you can opt for a beefier cooler if you prefer.

      • Thank you! What's the maximum recommended size of tower cooler that I can fit in this case?

        • The Lian Li Dan A3 case or N5? Both can fit a large variety of coolers, to the best of my knowledge any tower cooler, even the reasonably largest sized ones will clear fine. AK620 from DeepCool will clear fine for both.

        • +1

I've got a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 in this case, it fits pretty comfortably. Most tower coolers are about the size of the 120mm fans that attach, + a bit for the heatsink parts so I reckon almost all will fit easily.

  • I was looking for a small form factor PC to put beside the living room tv for some couch gaming and watching videos but don't need it to be super souped up to play things in the best graphics quality. So was hoping for a ~$1500 PC. A $2498 PC sounds a bit too much for my needs.

    • Most of our cases are very small form factor, as small as they can get before it will cost you an arm and a leg. Our N3 case dimensions are 33.5x27.5x35.5cm (LxWxH), for your budget I would recommend the Iso - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/858884. Comes in our N3 case and will smash games on 1440P.

      Let me know if suitable!

      • But to get a motherboard with USB-C I would need to fork out $100 more for either GB B650M Plus or the MSI B650M Mortar?

I'll have to think about it. At the moment my PC, which I built many moons ago, is housed in a SilverStone SG13 case which sits really nicely in the TV unit. I'm not sure even if I can rejig and rearrange stuff in the TV Unit to have the space for the N3 case.

        • If you're after USB C on a budget the MSI B650M Gaming Wi-Fi has a rear USB C port but no front I/O USB C support if there is one on a case. No need for Plus or Mortar.

          • @Nebula PC: Just did some measurements. Would have to orient the case on its side, chuck away some picture frames and move other bits around. Maybe I can tell my partner that I can insert the pictures into the N3 case's front window panel but not sure how well that idea will sit with her!

If you ever do a SG13 case equivalent build for around that price point in the future, I'll definitely keep an eye out.

            • @Windthunder: All good, very hard with ITX due to much higher costs with ITX motherboard, PSU and size restraints unfortunately.

  • Discreet not discrete

    • You're right, thanks for spotting that! :)

    does anyone know performance difference between 7800x3d vs 7500 f? - at 1440 p?
in this set up - with 4080 s

    • Seems pretty close for most games. But 7800x3d wins in some CPU heavy titles.

      7500f
      https://youtu.be/eaJ8HNk-1eI

      • yeah, not sure if its worth $400 upgrade hey

      • All correct, @twlandre answered it for me. Most games are quite GPU heavy nowadays but for anything that requires more CPU grunt the 7800X3D will perform better. 7500F still a fantastic option for its price point.

        • If I like to multitask with watching twitch on a second monitor, which cpu/gpu setup would you go for ? 1080p gaming for now, will probably uupgrade to a 1440p monitor at some stage soon after.

          • @SuBw00FeR: 7500F is fine, can do all of the above.

If you have the budget 7500F and 4080 SUPER is an awesome setup for 1440P and 4K gaming. If you have a stricter budget our Iso deal with a 4070 SUPER will be more than enough for your needs on both 1080P and 1440P - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/858884. I believe it's the best all-rounder system for 1440P gaming that doesn't break the bank whilst still future proofing.

Let me know if it suits!

            • @Nebula PC: Great to here, I probably wanna keep it around $2k with 32gb of RAM since this is more of a side PC for my sister's house for when I go there, RAM is for dat hungry ass chrome ;p

oh question, do any of them come with Wukong atm?

              • +1

@SuBw00FeR: Unfortunately, it's not our promotion and redemption is made through the graphics card manufacturer, not us. The promotion ended on August 20th. You can still try your luck with redemption with them and see if you can make up a story/excuse for them to approve. No guarantee of course. The new NVIDIA promotion is Star Wars Outlaws.

Any chance of a mid range system with 4070s + lian li a3 dan case? Likely a lot of demand for it

    • For sure, I will do one later on.

      • Do you have an expected ETA?

        • Not as of yet, will be in the books :). Need to secure more stock for cases, lots are gone with this current deal.

  • Hi Rep, is it possible to do a white build for the A3 setup?

    • White A3 case is available, it has a mesh panel so you can't really see the internals anyway. This would be the best middle ground without breaking the bank as going white for all components will increase cost quite a fair bit.

  • Hey - is it possible if I supply my own RAM to you guys? I know it makes things sligthlt more difficult for warranty but happy to drop it off before you make the build. It is still unopened.

    • +1

I apologise however we can't swap out parts due to warranty reasons. We need to provide coverage for the full system. If an item wasn't supplied by us it complicates the warranty procedure. If all parts were supplied by us we can process the warranty without issues with our vendors and you'll be completely covered. If an issue arises and worst case scenario it was a component that wasn't supplied by us, we can't possibly come back to you and say we need to charge you for labour, repair, and inspection costs and can't even provide a repair or remedy as the component wasn't supplied by us. This is unreasonable on our end, we want to avoid this as a whole.

You are more than welcome to use your own parts and swap components around when you have the system. We need to make sure your system is working completely before sending it off to you, part of that means all components need to be supplied by us. It's not unlikely that sometimes RAM come DOA despite it being brand new unfortunately as well.

I hope you understand, let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Hi, my budget is $1500, do you have any suggestion PC for playing WUKONG? Thanks.

  • Hi @Nebula PC, or anyone :), when do these deals expire ?

    • +1

Until we sell out, we try secure as much as we can but once out of stock we will mark expired like the Chamber and Striker Elite.

  • starting to look into getting a new pc, since I'm currently using a 2060… I am curious if there will be more deals towards the end of sale? and will there be a black Friday sale this year? since I'm still saving up and not quite sure if I'd be able to get one during this sale.

    • Best time to buy is when you are ready, IT is a very fast moving industry and there are sales happening all the time.

  • Is the Noir Elite still available? Tried to enter the promo code and it is not working lol

    • Still available, working fine for me. Could you please confirm you are using the code "OZB_TAXBACK$500OFF" and the system is the Noir Elite? https://gyazo.com/06096768ad885312bada7bfa05c6ccb8

      • It works on PC, but when I tried to place the order on iPhone using safari it didn't work, strange

        • Strange, maybe cookies/cache.

  • Hi Rep, I'm looking at the Noir, what front ports does the Nebula N5 case have and if there's a USB-C, is it supported by the Gigabyte B650M?

    • No front USB C and is not supported by Gigabyte B650M Gaming Wi-Fi, MSI B650M Gaming Wi-Fi has a USB C port on the motherboard but does not support front USB C. N5 has 1x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0. Let me know if you have any other questions :).

  • Hi team, with the B650M motherboard you guys are using, how many NvME SSD card can be fitted? Is it just one or is there a way to fit in more than one?

    • 1x M.2 is useable unless you want to remove the secondary M.2 Wi-Fi card on the Gigabyte motherboard. Will need to upgrade to the MSI B650M Gaming Wi-Fi if you wish to use a secondary M.2 NVME.

  • I'm looking for a 1440p ultra wide set up. Which one would you recommend? 🙂
I mean I'm attempted to get the elite so it lasts me longer but is it overkill?

    • +1

      Hi @thtran741,

Either is okay, both would smash 1440P. If you're after a bit more future proofing the B650M Gaming PLUS motherboard on the Noir Elite is a better choice along with the case if you like the Lian Li A3 case. If none of that is important to you, the standard non-elite will be fantastic for 1440P gaming :).

      • Thank you! Decided to go with the elite for a bit of future proofing. I saw est shipping is 7-10 business days, does this mean 7-10 business days before it's shipped out or will I get it within 7-10 business days.

        • +1

Correct, it means the system will be despatched with the estimate of 7-10 business days however the day you receive it will vary depending on your location and the courier network.

          Thank you for your support!

  • So, apart from the delivery fee I should also pay the Shipping Insurance? How come you don't cover issues with the delivery?

"By deselecting shipping insurance, we are not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items."

    • The courier only covers up to a certain amount that is very small, the extra cost gets passed on to the courier for their extra insurance service to cover the whole cost of the system so that it's fully covered.

  • This build looks great. How is the cooling? Do I need to add any case fans?

    • +1

N5 case has 3 case fans, it suffices. For the Dan A3 they come with no case fans, you can add more case fans if you'd like better cooling capability :).

      • Thanks, do you think the A3 is ok with just the CPU heatsink fan and the GPU fans?

        • +1

Yes, the whole case is a massive mesh panel.
