      No Wi-Fi in the base model, will require a motherboard upgrade to B550 PRO VDH Wi-Fi or USB dongle :).

      They usually still work for quite some time. Just try whichever one you're interested in during check-out and they'll likely still work 👍I believe they've replied to this query in the past, and Ozbargain just requires deals to expire after some time.

    For those considering the 7800XT Daniel Owen did an interesting comparison vs the 16gb 4060 ti on YT today. The 7800xt came thru well ahead overall. Maybe of interest to see what kind of performance you get from the card.

      Saw this a well, great comparison video!

      The 7800XT at this price point now we think is seriously the ultimate value GPU in the market for 1440P gaming at this stage, really great performance without the huge price point.

      Very slim margin sorry, even with two orders. The current promotion is you get to choose two free games with the 7800XT, worth quite a bit of coin!

      The only other way is if we do payment by bank transfer to avoid the payment processor so we can reduce the cost further, that's what stage we're at in terms of calculating costs and margins.

      Because this motherboard supported the previous generation CPUs at the time of release (before when the 5000 series CPUs were available), when the new 5000 series CPUs were released the motherboard BIOS needed to be updated to support them. Disclaimer states "If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, updating the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU.", motherboard BIOS isn't using an older BIOS and is on a BIOS version that supports the new 5000 series CPUs.

      RAM clearance is fine, we are building dozens of these daily :).

    Hey Rep,

    I'm looking for a 1440p gaming rig for my wife. Out of the two, the 7800xt deal looks like amazing value. My concern is the small case mixed with a high draw GPU…. does it scream like a banshee when gaming? For comparison my 4070 is sublimely quiet and doesn't blow like a nuclear reactor when under load.

    It wont be getting a super hard work out, but it needs to be reasonable in terms of heat and noise. I was originally leaning towards the 4060ti for that reason, but benchmarks suggest the 7800xt is much better value.

      AMD GPUs do run a bit hotter from experience, especially the 7800XT. Benchmarks will show it is much better value, it comes down to your preference and needs.

      It doesn't scream loud like a nuclear reactor when under load, if you prefer super quiet and less heat then I would recommend the 4060 Ti instead. If you don't mind the heat and a little bit more noise that comes with the extra grunt the 7800XT is a great choice.

      It is one of the downsides with a small form factor case that OzBargain loves, airflow will be limited to an extent.

        Great, thanks! Any chance of getting the Amd build with the small white case you offer in some of the other deals? (I think it's an N5 or something like that?). It's one of the deal breakers for the wife, needs to be white and small form factor.

          Yes, understand. N5 isn't that small though compared to N3. I can add the N5 white case for this deal if you'd like. I would recommend the white N3 instead if you're after white and small form factor.
