    I literally spent double for my 4090 set up. It does 4K really well on a 144hz screen. Honestly, I did try a 4080 standard on my 7800x3d.. and it actually ran most games at 60-80fps 4K maxed also, so this is great FPS/$ for a 4080S.

    Is there any chance the 12700KF build with a 4070 TI could come closer in price to what's offered with the 7500F?

      Only possible if we go DDR4 platform, Intel motherboards and CPUs run more than AMD. Can look into 12700KF with DDR5 but price will be slightly more than a 7500F system. Let me now if that works for you.

          We don't have the iGPU version as we need to bring the cost down as much as possible, it will still be better for you to go AMD as it won't be marginally more than the 7500F builds. It will be at least $100 more due to CPU and motherboard costs. Let me know what suits you best!

    Can someone help me understand how AMD Ryzen CPUs compare to Intel? I'm pretty familiar with intel but not AMD Ryzen.

    For example, when I googled AMD Ryzen 5 7500F vs i7-12700KF, the intel chip has way more cores and beats the AMD Ryzen chip in all tests, but the 7500F and i7-12700KF builds are priced similarly in the above builds. Does the AMD Ryzen chip offer something for gaming that the Intel doesn't? Is it more efficient/cooler or something?

      Yes, in short, AMD CPUs are better value and perform better when it comes to gaming. Core count and all the technical specifications these days don't mean everything, of course, they're important depending on what tasks you'll be doing. Assuming this benchmark comparison is accurate, you can see the 7500F performs better in gaming but the 12700K edges ever so slightly more than the 7500F in productivity tasks - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOiJzkHmuOg. Presumably due to its extra core count it can perform better with productivity tasks, ultimately it comes down to your needs.

      AMD systems are much more popular with us due to their price to performance, we offer both and at the end of the day the best option will depend on what you plan on using the system for. Did you have a rough idea by any chance?

        I've been browsing the deals for a while, trying to build up knowledge of these systems. I would eventually like a reasonably fast and very quiet computer which will serve me well for the next 5 years with a bit of productivity, video editing, coding/experimenting with AI, and with the option to try some of the latest games. Currently got a Mac mini M1, and a basic work laptop. The Mac mini is OK for some of these tasks, but no good for the games and I would prefer a windows machine.

          If you want the best price to performance I would strongly recommend AMD systems. They can do all of the above but well outperform Intel when it comes to gaming in general.

      And as just a customer perspective, always used intel. Have had their mid range and top chips always.

      Changed to 7800X3D this generation.

      Blown away at how good they are. They stay cool gaming compared to what I’m used to at least, just air cooled for me. (Big AK620 :)).

      Computer tasks are a breeze. I don’t do video coding, just extreme level gaming, lots of tabs, work on office.. but everything is instant. Of course have an SSD drive (m2) and everything else, lots of ram, makes it all seamless.

      Understood! Currently the 7500F is still a good value option. However, 7800X3D CPUs are super hot right now, seems like everyone on OzBargain wants a rig with one haha.
