Gaming PC: AMD R7-7800X3D, RTX 5070 Ti GPU, B650 Wi-Fi Mobo, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, 750W Gold PSU $2799 + Delivery @ TechFast

7800X3D-5070Ti-MAR

Hi folks, 5070 Ti Launch Day! Looking around, cards seem hard to get (again). We have good (but not unlimited supply) of Palit GamingPro and GameRock cards available, so we're excited to be able to bring you this deal with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the perfect match for this card.

As with 5080 we have both the Palit GamingPro and GameRock available in batches - the first for systems shipping mid March, the second as a pre-order for later in March onwards as further shipments arrive.

As a reminder all TechFast PCs are:

  • Unmatched in terms of value, $ per frame, bang for buck - you name it, it does not get cheaper
  • Fully professionally built, stress tested
  • Provided by the most active and committed OzB PC builder for 6+ years - we are here to stay while many others have come and gone, leaving Ozbargainers in the lurch
  • Plug and play with all drivers installed, no matter which OS you select
  • Fully supported by a local team via email and here on Ozbargain
  • Fully insured for transit at no extra cost
  • Fully warranted with transit covered both ways in the event of warrantable faults

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PC: $2799 after 7800X3D-5070Ti-MAR

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor ~200W AG400 (liquid options available)
  • Palit GamingPro RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card (GameRock +$89)
  • Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard
  • 32GB 6000MHz RAM (brand/model may vary)
  • 1TB Gen 4 NVME SSD (brand/model may vary)
  • 750W Gold PSU (brand/model may vary)
  • Antec CX500M case (other options available)

Update on RTX 5080 and 5090 builds: Continuing to make progress through the initial drop of on-hand cards, with finalised PC shipments continuing this week and next - they are long and valuable builds with liquid coolers and extremely high value hardware, so we are taking the necessary time to get them right. And I think everyone would have seen prices have shot up since that deal, while your launch prices are locked in, so your patience is appreciated. We expect to move into the late-Feb / March pre-order card batches straight after, as cards continue to arrive.

Cheers
Luke, Caleb, Zac and the TechFast team

Any single cards coming up like last deal?

$400 cheaper than last deal with a 9800x3d/5080 kinda shows how good value that deal was

    • Would be interested in a single card deal too.

      • Just got one from umart

    • +7

9800x3d/5080, liquid cooler and 850W PSU too, was absolutely a great value for Australia. Techfast coming in clutch for gamers not only with availability but great price too.

Also the that mobo has 2.5gbe networking (I believe same mobo here?)

Also love how they are taking good care of building them properly instead of rushing. I am all for it.

      Thanks Techfast!

      • I bought that deal but it's gonna be over a month from purchase before its seen, even though I was in the first batch. Great value though and I can't wait for it to show up

        • Well if you think about it many people who ordered 5080s from retailers don’t even have a delivery date yet. And people who ordered just the card in the first batch already got their cards I believe.

So honestly it’s as good as it gets currently, so I personally have no problem with it.

Especially because they said they are making sure the builds are perfect, as they said they are. Many people will never touch these builds and the better they are built, the longer they’ll serve.

So I am all for it.

          • +2

@Larsson: Oh for sure I'm glad they arent rushing through it and doing it properly. I'm upgrading from a 1070 so I have patience lol. I just wouldn't mind some kind of idea on where it's at as I am moving address soon

  • +1

    Keen on a 5090 build

  • +14

Release price of the 5070ti was supposedly $US749, which is $AU1,170. Add GST and the price should be about $1,300.

I know we're going to get screwed on early stock and the price hike is probably coming from OEMS (especially since the 5070 ti is the same GB203 as the 5080, so stock shortages will be common for a while), but it still hurts. Props to Techfast for bringing decent pricing though.

Hopefully AMD bring some good pricing next week.

    • +2

      https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/geforce/graphics-cards/50-serie…
Official pricing from Nvidia for 5070Ti starting 1,509, so your calculation is a bit wrong from that

      • +7

Yeh, freefall101 calculated it the accurate way, but the pragmatic way would be to double the USD price.

Either way, thanks goes to techfast for this deal.

        • +2

For years and years it has been to convert from USD to AUD, then add 30% to cover both GST plus the arbitrary downunder tax.

    • +1

You forgot to add the NVIDIA Tax.

      • +1

Let NVIDIA pay the NVIDIA tax. I pay the Homer tax

    • 4070ti super with 9800x3d deal last year was a top deal for under $2500, these new 5070ti card is less then 10% better then old super , such a rort by NVIDIA it's not even funny

  • +17

Lol $1600 5070Ti… riiightyo then. I'll stick with my used 6800XT forever then :)

    • yeah, in my mind, 70 series cards should at most be the same price as a current gen Sony/MS console (and i say this as someone that doesn't do consoles apart from Nintendo).

      • +2

well enough people seem to think it's ok to pay $2k-6k for a GPU for them to not give a sh*t anymore and just price it whatever they want lol … can't wait for the 1k 5060 .. that's basically a 4060 which is barely better than a 3060 and in some cases worse (high vram usage games)…haha

    • +6

It sure as shit ain't worth $1600.

A 4070ti super is way better value

      • +7

the problem is the 4070ti super started to disappear off shelves prior to the release of the 5070ti. People who waited to see the performance/ release price got screwed over. Also the 4080s could have been had for 1700-1800 a month or two ago and had better performance than these 5070ti without mfg

        • The problem with 4070ti supers was smart arse ozbargeners who thought they were so smart to say those cards at $1100 was not a deal late last year .
I bet those guys are sitting quiet on the sidelines now

      • +1

If them (and 4080s) being out of stock everywhere wasn't an issue, I'd agree with you. Most prebuilts with a 4070Ti Super built in are more expensive than this deal though.

    • -5

The lure of the gaming-industry…why did they push gamers above 1080p…financial impact of this preference ?

Globally that create jobs & maybe that is ok?

      • +8

That's like saying why did they make consoles graphically better than the Dreamcast.

        • +2

          hahahaha have a + … love it

      • -3

        What's driving YOURr-desire to game @ 1440p+…how much EXTRA immersiveness, enjoyment etc do you get from 32" - 98" screen…SELF discovery & awareness 🤔🧐

        • That logic is a slippery slope. With your logic we all should just stick with 5 inch 360p monitors and 2d games. How much extra immersions and enjoyment do you get from a 1080p screen… Self discovery and self awareness.

      • I think 1440p and 32 inch monitor is more then enough but then some want 150 + fake frames on their 4k monitor to lecture us all how theyr real gamers

    • The 4080 Super dropped to around $1500 a couple of months ago on eBay, compared to the 5070 Ti for over $1600 (if you can get it even, most models are like $1800-1900), I'll say the 4080 Super is a better buy, but some may argue newer generation card has better DLSS and FG.

      • DLSS 4 (transformer model i'm assuming you mean) is across all the gen's with slight larger hit to performance but i don't think it'll be noticeable 40x vs 50x … MFG is just this gen but who cares FG by itself is fine if you want that.. 4080S is def a better card, amazing how Nvidia makes a $1500 card look like a bargain! … might be time to hibernate for a long time and wake up when/if this gpu sh*t show is over …

    • +2

People still want to play Nvidia's game and pay exorbitant prices for the latest card no matter the value proposition.

I enjoy seeing progress in video card tech but choose not to pay out of my nose for incremental gains. You don't have to either when you realise your existing video card still works and you still enjoy your the games you play.

      • There is no progress in this generation, all these cards are more expensive , you get some better raw performance but it's at increased power consumption so I'm assuming they are just overclocking them .
No one is challenging NVIDIA so they didn't innovate this gen

  • Current state of GPU stock levels and prices make deals like this a no-brainer.

  • Techfast in with the sharpest pricing once again. If you want one of these anytime soon pull the trigger NOW.

    • Soon? You will get it in April mate if your lucky

      • It will be months before anyone comes close to this deal, just like their 5080 and 5090 deals.

  • +6

I know money has to be made somewhere.. But that cooler and nvme drive on. A PC nearing 3k upsets me haha

    • Neither of which will affect your FPS. I think it's great personally.

      • +4

I don't. They are budget parts in a mid to high end system.

      • When youre spending 3k you dont want to make compromises.

For around $50 more you could have a better drive for your OS and games as well as a cooler that runs quieter and keeps temps down.

1.5% of the total cost to have those is worth it every time imo

  • -8

    Looks amazing! Thanks OP!

Is it possible to mine Bitcoin with this setup/GPU?

    • -6

I asked if the GPU can mine Bitcoin, so sue me..

    • +1

It hasnt been worth mining bitcoin on gpu for more than 10years..

  • @luketechfast It might be good for you to post that 5080/5090 update on the original post or in an email for people like me who are constantly checking for progress on our orders :)))

    • +2

      Will do yep thanks

  • +5

is there any chance of a 4070 ti super deal in the future, or is the stock levels of that never coming back up given they're redundant now?

    • Also interested in this @luketechfast?

    • That deal was a thousand dollars cheaper, and this new 5070 ti card only has slightly better performance.

    • +10

      We are looking into it

      • Thanks!

      • Been waiting for that deal so long.

      • also put a trigger on it, thanks

      • Wow that would be quite popular given the 50 series disappointment. Suprised you still stock the 4070tis.

  • Say what you want about Techfast, they've been steadfast.

Enigma PC was a bit of scammer with their warranty as they've packed up their shop….

  • +1

$500 MSRP difference in GPU, but the PSU, CPU, and its cooler get significantly cut as well despite virtually no difference in power consumption and package price.

That's probably asking a bit much.

I get that there's a supply disruption so you're probably competing heavily for orders, but another 8% on the GPU is also frustrating to see (for you as well).

  • -1

Terrible experience with these guys.. but maybe I was just unlucky.

    • what happened?

      • Build + shipping took over 6 weeks apparently standard with these guys.
Out of box experience was non existant windows was corrupted, could not be repaired and had to partition whole drive n install fresh.
Onboard WIFI not working properly, currently in process of claiming warranty for new motherboard.

        • Okay, understand the build was botched. Shit happens so I'm more interested in what their response was.

Did you ask them for assistance with repairs and warranty, and what was their response?

    • Some context?

  • Yeah I agree. It would be nice to have a 2TB SSD included on a near $3k system

  • -1

Good card if you are into fake frames.

  • @luketechfast Any chances to upgrade to 5080?

    • +1

Fully allocated at this time and woudl be offered in a separate deal.

      • +1

        thanks! I suppose I can wait… no I cant… yes I can… no I cant…

  • +1

Any chance 9800x3d/5080 deal come back?

  • +1

For those waiting on delivery from the 5080 deal, I ordered mine on the day, and later upgraded my case. The case selection clearly noted "delivery mid feb onwards," so I wasn't expecting anything before then. My PC just shipped today, and while I haven't received it yet, I'd say it has been shipped within the expected time frame. So far I'm pretty happy, but will reserve final judgement once it arrives.

    • Wow, you got lucky. Everything on my 5080 deal was in stock, and my order on their website hasnt budged. Absolutely sucks.

    • Keep us posted for the quick review mate. Thanks!

      • +3

Got mine today, its working great and I'm pretty happy with it. Couple of issues I had to work out:
        - The PSU had one thumbscrew loose at the back, I tightened this back in.
        - The GPU had come unseated. This was the biggest issue. Techfast packed it with plenty of plastic airbags, but the GPU had still slipped out, and the back plate was slightly bent on the end that goes in behind the motherboard. I had to unscrew it, straighten the black plate by hand, reseat the gpu, and screw it back in. The main GPU unit itself did not appear to be damaged, but I think the clip at the end of the gpu PCI-E slot on the mobo had snapped off (i found the loose bit of plastic when I unscrewed the GPU). Techfast could probably have secured this better with scrunched up paper instead of the airbags.
        - My case happened to come with a gpu bracket that holds the GPU weight on the far end. This was installed, but at a lower level to the gpu, perhaps to not block the fan, or perhaps because of the cable management at the back of the case was restricting it. I had to undo the cable strap a little, move the bracket up, then re strap the cables.

On the flip side, my case was only meant to come with 3 intake fans in the front, and the manufacturer does not include a rear exhaust fan. I was expecting to have to buy and install one myself. To my surprise techfast installed an RGB rear exhaust fan at no extra charge, or me having to ask for it.

I've uploaded some photos here, including one of the gpu being unseated, and a couple with it running once I had it all sorted.
        https://imgur.com/a/S5TOcbj

        • Thanks for the quick review mate! Its really helpful!
So what I learned from you is to pay extra to send the GPU separately might be worth it.

        • Can I ask what brand PSU and SSD they used?

          • @Hernie: The default 1TB is a ADATA one. I added a 2TB to my order and this was a KLEV CRAS SSD. I'd suggest not getting the additional SSD and just getting your own in hindsight. I could've gotten the same drive for much cheaper from amazon.

I believe the PSU is a DeepCool PN850M.

  • Hi Luke, I bought the last 5080 deal. Looks like theirs alot of demand for it, are you able to cancel my order and give it to someone else.
    Thanks

    • mate, give it to me!!!

      • +2

Happy to mate. Can the rep organise.

    • I wish I got it 😭

    • If you are in Sydney mate I will buy it from you for sure

  • just got one. thanks mate! soooo excited. i'm still using my acer predator 1070

  • In case anyone wants to cancel the last 9800x3d/5080 deal, please PM me. I would like to take one

  • +2

yeah I just bought the last MSI 5070 Ti from Umart. 1800 bucks!! its insane how expensive graphics cards are now.

    • Competing with Ai cards now, inflation and large profit margins

      • Competing for fab space, NVIDIA's MSRP reflects chip and memory costs unless others involved ask for more.

Yes, some use consumer cards for AI training but in real terms that's only a select few for the 5090, the rest being hobbyists or home labs, and that's not a new phenomenon for GPUs.

There was an earthquake that impacted TSMC's production right before Lunar New Year, this is probably what is impacting supply right now along with US retailers trying to beat the tariffs coming in 2 weeks ago.

With supply low, the wholesalers and AIBs take advantage of a bidding war. Give it a month to see if things stabilise, alongside falling consumer - and hopefully, enterprise - demand.

        • Remember the tsunami that affected hdds 10+ years ago? I feel like that took way longer than a month to recover.

          • @Jazza2400: There's a whole cyclical nature to NAND and DRAM production as they try and anticipate demand, but they also tend to have a lot more in storage (pardon the pun). Leaked estimates for TSMC state about 65,000 wafers of various kinds were ruined, which represents about 4 days work from the 2 fabs involved.

But both fabs impacted were then down for two days more, then one stayed offline for a bit longer, all while running into the holidays. Without that big break and temporarily reduced workforce, would have otherwise been a blip, but in today's market PC buyers would be most impacted.

    • +3

The only insanity here is people like you actually paying that price for a 5070ti!

You're a very small part of the problem. I'm just curious to see where this all ends up in a few years! Will people be paying 3k retail for xx70 next generation, or the one after?

Scalpers are a non issue to. If people didn't buy from them they wouldn't exist…..

        • You're dreaming if you think anybody will pay that

          • @Vinodra: there are a few that sold for between 2000 and 2300 on ebay. since yesterday.
