Arsenal replied to boxall on Acer 14" Swift Go Ryzen 5 8645HS, 2.8k QHD OLED 90Hz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD $997 + Del ($0 to Metro/ C&C) @ Officeworks
Annoyingly by the time I got it back to Officeworks (which was a circus as some poor woman got stabbed in the parking lot yesterday) it…

Did Officeworks exchange it for you? Picked this up ~3 weeks ago and this morning it will only turn on the keyboard backlight and fans.…
Arsenal replied to AngoraFish on AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU US$170.65 (~A$275.63) Delivered @ SZCPU Store via AliExpress
Sounds good... what was your previous cpu?
Arsenal replied to Andy3012 on AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU US$170.65 (~A$275.63) Delivered @ SZCPU Store via AliExpress
Nice work! The 6700XT should work perfectly with that motherboard.
Arsenal replied to Andy3012 on AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU US$170.65 (~A$275.63) Delivered @ SZCPU Store via AliExpress
In an ideal world you'd want to find a Radeon 6700XT, but they seem to be pretty much gone in Australia. Probably the 7600XT is the best…
Arsenal replied to Andy3012 on AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU US$170.65 (~A$275.63) Delivered @ SZCPU Store via AliExpress
Can you give us an idea what you want to spend? Because honestly, despite working in IT and being a PC gamer, I couldn't tell you what…
Arsenal replied to roderickh on AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU US$170.65 (~A$275.63) Delivered @ SZCPU Store via AliExpress
I've gone for it, but primarily because going any further will require a completely new computer anyway... any higher spec and i'll be…
Arsenal replied to Yve on MSI MAG 321UPX 32" 4k UHD 240hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor $1649 + Delivery Only @ JB Hi-Fi
Sure, I just meant that last time I looked into it, esports players didn't like running on such large monitors, and almost all new games…
Arsenal commented on MSI MAG 321UPX 32" 4k UHD 240hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor $1649 + Delivery Only @ JB Hi-Fi
I'm obviously out of touch, but i've been meaning to ask, what games are people playing at 4k 240fps to justify needing specs like this?
The Arc XL looks like a good bit of kit. Have had the Dome since launch and it is brilliant but a bit overkill for what we use it for.
Arsenal replied to dtpearson on SooPii USB 4 Cable with LED Display, Supports 8K Video 1m $13.19 + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $59 Spend) @ SooPii via Amazon AU
Yeah, I was a little sceptical as to how useful it would actually be going in, but the little screen showing the charging rate is really…
Arsenal replied to derdew on [Pre Order] Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Cleaner & Bonus Accessory Pack $2999 Delivered @ Roborock Online
Yeah, hate these products where they have decided that releasing a new improved version automatically means increasing the price. It was…
Arsenal replied to Tbargain12 on LG 42" OLED EVO C3 4K UHD Smart TV (2023) $1372 + $40 Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Bing Lee eBay
I feel like i'm taking crazy pills in this sub-thread... $1372 vs $2085 is hardly an insignificant difference.
Arsenal replied to Clipzero on LG 42" OLED EVO C3 4K UHD Smart TV (2023) $1372 + $40 Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Bing Lee eBay
What actual OLED >100hz >35" 4k (non-ultrawide) monitor are you comparing it to? I ask because having looked into it recently, those…
Arsenal replied to Trishool on LG 83" C3 4K OLED evo Ai ThinQ Smart TV + LG S75Q 3.1.2 Channel 380W Dolby Atmos Soundbar $5579.20 + Delivery @ Harvey Norman
Right, well soundbars are obviously a compromise between size and quality anyway, so I guess when you said it was underwhelming, I was…
Arsenal replied to Trishool on LG 83" C3 4K OLED evo Ai ThinQ Smart TV + LG S75Q 3.1.2 Channel 380W Dolby Atmos Soundbar $5579.20 + Delivery @ Harvey Norman
How can a soundbar be good if it has underwhelming sound quality? Surely that's the entire point of the thing?
Arsenal replied to Nom on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
As i said it's the controller device that cares.. and last i checked the UXG-Lite doesn't run the Network controller?
Arsenal replied to ass3ts on Maserati Grecale GT Speciale SUV (MY24 New Stock Vehicles Only) $139,500 Drive Away @ Maserati
Why on earth have you owned multiple Maserati's if you're not a fan of their driving dynamics? I feel like if that part doesn't appeal to…
Arsenal commented on Maserati Grecale GT Speciale SUV (MY24 New Stock Vehicles Only) $139,500 Drive Away @ Maserati
While I appreciate a deal, I'm more intrigued as to who knows several people that own Maserati's, other than a Maserati dealer?
Arsenal replied to shahfar on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
Yeah, it's the controller device that cares about the region matching, so with your locally bought UDM Pro it's not an issue.
Arsenal replied to rumblytangara on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
I think your point of view is valid based on your experience, but having rolled out and maintained hundreds of Unifi devices across many…
Arsenal replied to ddr0001 on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
If the cost of a backup 4G modem/connection isn’t an issue then I can’t imagine the UXG-Pro is going to be overkill.
Arsenal replied to ddr0001 on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
Haven't seen any confirmation, but I doubt it. The UXG-Lite / UXG-Pro seem designed for that sort of configuration.
Arsenal replied to rumblytangara on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
Yeah, it works fine as long as the region setting is set to US, so no real harm.. identical functionality to the multiple subsequent UDMs I…
Arsenal replied to srsparky on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
Ah cheers.. that makes sense then, imported direct from Ubiquiti. I'll wait this time, was good to get my UDM Early Access back in 2019 but…
Arsenal replied to srsparky on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
Where did you manage to find one already? Leader as a distributor still don't even have a date.
Arsenal replied to lawyerz on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
The only real advantage I have seen is the reduced power/heat. Having said that, I'm probably going to swap out my UDM for one when they…
Arsenal replied to yoderykyo on [Pre Order] Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Ultra Router $234 Delivered @ Australian Warehouses
