WUXGA is a fancy way of saying "just a good old FHD (plus 120 pixels vertically)"

just for a comparison (not to call it out as golden standard or anything), MBA 13 and MBP 14 pack 1660p and 1860p into 13 and 14 inch respectively.

    • Also more than double the cost, if used as a comparisom point

      • and? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/890506
Lenovo Ideapad 14" packs 1800p for $1300 on special.

        • Such is the 2 in 1 premium. Wouldn't pay that much for an ideapad 5.

          • @ATangk: Wouldn't suggest buying one. Out of all the notebooks we repair it seems to mainly be Ideapads. Dunno whether it's just because that's what people buy OR they are just not great quality. They aren't that old usually.

My sons also had to be repaired a few times about 4 years ago by Lenovo due to extended warranty because each time it came back they'd screwed up something else.

ThinkPads on the other hand I can recommend. From experience myself and customers they quite happily seem to go 5 years minimum and a few are like 7 years old and still going strong.

            • @Ramrunner: Yeah I have a thinkpad yoga, the build quality is much better.

    • Spot on

  • Hi what do you guys think about lenovo yoga 14" touch, 12th gen intel iris igpu, 2.4k oled, 16gb ram. Second hand but new battery and no scratches or dents. $500.

    • where is the link ? or is it one off ?

      • -1

A mate is selling his. Not listed on ebay yet he offered to me first. Baterry cycle is 16.
He got the battery replaced by lenovo under warranty. Ram soldered. My worry is 12th gen intel so a bit old? But ram is ddr5 already.
        Also 2x thunderbolt ports
