UHHHHHHHH Jesus, this is insanely good.

Is it possible to get the courier to keep it at the depot for pick up instead of delivery? Not home during the day :(

    • +1

Yes, this is possible for all our couriers. They will provide this service for you if you request it either on their portal or by phone.

      • +1

Beautiful, thank you, I might have to hit up that Ti Super….

        • 😉

          • @Nebula PC: Also the Ti Super has the wrong heading for the link :p Just has Super

    • +3

If you want the 7800x3d this ends up at $2528 (with $225usd steam voucher)
vs the techfast 7800x3d one ending up at $2177

I think overall specs bang for buck still not as good as the 7800x3d one from techfast… better components though (except for psu) and I'm guessing better service just based off what I've read on here.

      • Terrible SSD. 3600/3000 read/write speed?
And a CPU without iGPU so when your GPU cards gone you're screwed. Those 2 things primarily kill the build.
You'd want to also upgrade to 750W power.

        • +1

Chances of having a GPU problem is extremely low unless you're OC it… but who OC nowadays… even then?!

      • The price on on the included 7500F is incredibly discounted I assume, as the moment I swap to a 7700X, an extra $349 (difference of $172 to PCPartPicker). Noticing the same on other components.

The as-is builds are very well priced, but if you do the same in PCPartPicker it quickly became obvious, stick real close to the builds here for the true bargain.

  • +6

NEBULA vs FIRST BLOOD! Let the steam games begin!!

    • +4

Haha competition is always good for the market 😁.

      • LMAO! Glad you have a good sense of humour.

    • +1

      FATALITY!!!!!!!

  • +5

Looks like Lawrence is resting his giant hairy balls on the PC industries collective forehead once again

    • @Nebula PC, can you confirm ?

  • Andddd bought the 4070 Super, the TI is only like a ~6% increase, not worth it's price on top.

    • Thank you for your support! ❤️

    • 16gb vram is huge for future proofing

      • It's only 4gb difference and I don't plan on going above 1440p for a long time anyway, also this is a side PC not my main. So I don't mind playing on medium in like 5-10 years time

      • +9

Future proofing a video card?? LOL.

  • +1

Great to deal with… inc after sales.

    • ❤️

  • 4070 Ti Super is linking to a 4060 system, FYI

    • +2

It states to click on the 4070 TI Super… Price goes up but in your basket you add code to bring price down to advertised price

      • +1

Ah, yeah. It's not even subtle either. Don't I feel like a right peanut.

  • +3

Best gaming pc deals of the year and best people to deal with especially Lawrence. They will try to accommodate almost every request from you. It has been a great experience so far on my 4080 Super Slim build.

    • You've been awesome my friend! Thank you for your patience and support brother ❤️.

  • +1

Amazing looking deals, but oh to be poor lmao. - gotta upgrade from this 1070 !

    • +1

Yeah I'm still struggling along with my 1070 MaxQ (on par with a 1060) :(

    • +2

Plenty of well priced rigs on the latest AM5 platform even on a budget! Will definitely surpass 1070 performance :). 8400F and RTX 4060 is priced at below $1000 here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/871629. Lowest ever on the market to the best of my knowledge for an AM5 rig so you can still future proof for years to come.

      • Ooosh! I can feel the rubber arm twisting, will have to have a gander

    • I'm still on a 6700K and 1080 but still undecided to pull the trigger or wait for BF or BD deals?!

  • So many good deals, almost want a pc in every room!!

  • I feel like getting a PC for my Photoshop and Premiere Pro work, I don't play PC games.

Any recommendations for me? I am a console guy lol

    • Will depend on your budget, rendering videos is very intensive on the GPU. The higher you go with your CPU and GPU the better it'll get for your needs, I'd say the minimum is 32GBs of RAM so that you can multitask with ease and the rest will depend on your budget.

      • Do you mean I should get the best gaming PC? 😂 I thought I only needed basic PC.

        • I am saying please buy what your budget allows, if your budget is tight the base 7500F and RTX 4060 will suffice. If you do intense productivity work I would recommend upgrading the CPU and GPU.

  • -3

Terrible SSD. 3600/3000 read/write speed? Although only $30 for an upgrade which I would recommend.
And a CPU without iGPU so when your GPU cards gone you're screwed. These builds should have Ryzen 7600 not 7500f which have iGPU for basically the same price.
You'd want to also upgrade to 750W power if you're getting one of the 4070's.

    • Why would you need 750W? Even if you plan to upgrade, with generational efficiency improvements at the mid tier GPUs mean you're unlikely to ever need more. Not like you'll be putting a 5090 in one of these PCs.

    • $2,411.00 for upgrading to 7800X3D, upgraded ssd and 750W. 4070 super

      Also added:
      WI-FI & BLUETOOTH: TP-Link Archer TX20U AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Wireless USB Adapter

      Anti-Virus Protection: Norton 360 Standard

Is this a good deal in your opinion? Is their mouse keyboard and monitors good value? Or am I better waiting for Black Friday deal?

      • Wi-Fi adaptor is not needed as all motherboards have onboard Wi-Fi an Bluetooth @Dezza1122.

        • Okay. Thanks for answering.

      • +4

Don't get norton it's garbage and a waste of money time and resources, the mobo has in built wifi and bluetooth. Wait for black friday for the rest.

      • +1

Replying again to make sure you see it instead of editing sorry, Just use microsoft defender and ublock origin on your web browser, don't click dodgy links and you'll never get a virus. I haven't had an anti virus installed (apart from defender) for like 15 years now, and never had one and I do some dodgy stuff.

        • Cool thanks for the advice. Appreciate it.

      • norton is very useless, their main market is boomers who don't know anything to give them free money

    • +1

Thank you for your feedback, this is one of the ways we can reduce costs without too much compromise for OzBargain as OzBargain wants a bargain. 7500F is not the same price as 7600 for us. 650W is plenty of power for 4070 SUPER, no need for 750W however upgrade option is available for people who prefer.

In this market, there are endless combinations and at the end of the day, I am sorry I can't cater for everyone's needs as much as I try. The market is big and we try our utmost best to cater for the majority of what OzBargain users typically want.

  • Does Windows come installed and we BYO activation key or blank drive?

    • +1

Windows can only be installed if a license is purchased, all will come with no operating system (blank drive).

      • It's no big deal Ozpimps when the pc arrives there is a barebones os, you just click to the windows website and download and install, then you provide the code after the fact. I got mine on a key site for ten or fifteen dollars.

        • Confirming we don't have to muck around with making bootable flash drives etc? Last time I installed an OS was over 10 years ago.

          • @CheapMillenialGamer: Yeah man no need for that, I'm a fair nuffy with PC's and I had absolutely zero problems. Really it wouldn't hurt for Lawrence to do a video showing how easy it is.

    • -2

It comes installed but without a licence

  • Hi - nice new options.
I am considering but can you clarify if the default MSI Forge M100R or Airflow 320R cases can accommodate the USB-C front and rear ports available on the upgrade to MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard?
    Thanks

    • Hi,

MSI Forge M100R or 320R does not have a front USB C port. The M100R PANO PZ has one USB C port but will require a motherboard upgrade to support front USB like the B650M GAMING PLUS Wi-Fi or B650M MAG MORTAR.

The MSI B650M Gaming Wi-Fi has a USB C on the I/O but doesn't support a front USB C in.

  • +2

Thanks - it's clear from the motherboard specs that USB-C is supported on the GAMING PLUS, but I'm not a fan of the PANO PZ case - too fancy with the weird cutoff corners at the front. Is there a more basic (rectangular) option?
    Thanks.

    • All case options for MSI are on the builder, these are the only ones available at the moment. The case has to be an MSI option to be eligible for the MSI $225USD Steam gift card promotion. We can do a special order in for you if you really don't fancy and of the options however price gap will be larger as we are purchasing one unit. Please let me know if you find a suitable MSI case, otherwise we have plenty of other case options with USB C but will only be eligible for a $120USD Steam gift card.

    • get it with the MSI, then buy another case, move the parts and sell the case stand alone, there is market for it

  • GUNGNIR 110R?

  • Hey Nebula, are you going to do a 4080 super + steam gift card deal later? Interested in getting a more powerful pc.

    • Not at this stage due to pricing as of now, will keep this in the books for sure. We have a handful of RTX 4090s on hand that I've put on the builder, I can see some have been sold already. I understand it might be too powerful and out of budget.

4070 Ti SUPER would be your best middle ground in terms of pricing and power :). Can also take advantage of the Steam gift card promo from MSI!

  • Man - the pricing on that 4070 super…. Must resist….. (Waiting to see how Flight Sim 2024 benchmarks, but will be back once its dropped :) )

    • 😁

  • 4070 super and 64gb ram Or 4070 super Ti and 32gb ram hmmmm

Dota and chrome is my only use case hmm

    • Typically 32GBs of RAM is enough for multitasking even with plenty of Chrome tabs. Chrome has a new RAM saving feature that is very annoying for me but maybe not for others, it will make any tabs that you haven't accessed for a while inactive and if you go back to the tab it'll reload it for you.

However, if Dota is your owly use case and you plan on playing any AAA titles that are GPU intensive I'd say go with 64GBs RAM and 4070 SUPER as there'll be no performance benefit with the 4070 Ti SUPER for Dota but plenty of benefit with extra RAM to allow for plenty of Chrome tabs and program open.

  • @Nebula PC can you please confirm which mobos have USBc

    Thanks

    • MSI Forge M100R or 320R does not have a front USB C port.

The other two motherboards being B650M Gaming PLUS Wi-Fi and B650M MAG MORTAR Wi-Fi both support USB C front in and have a USB C port on the I/O.

  • Thinking of getting my first gaming PC, looking to get Vortex - MSI RTX 4070 SUPER OC. If I have some budget left, is there upgrades that's worthwhile? e.g. motherboard? Appreciate any input, thanks

    • Likely just motherboard and PSU, if you prefer a gold rated PSU and would like a higher-rated PSU to allow for future CPU or GPU upgrades then it'll be a good choice. Case choices wise will depend on your preference and needs.

  • These all look lovely! Especially the 4070 Ti, sadly I do not have the funds of current. :( I hope a very similar deal will be available in a few weeks time. Amazing prices though, kudos Nebula!

    • 😁

  • Looks good but nothing i'm interested game wise besides gta 6 for gaming zzz, will wait no worries :)

    • Can use the Steam gift card to buy GTA 6 and upcoming games that you're interested in 😉.

  • Damn, near perfect if I could get it in the Lian Li Dan case, but I guess that would drop the MSI promo of 6 items

    • Yep then you'll have to give up the MSI $225USD gift card and drop down to MSI Advanced being 4 MSI products and is eligible for a $120USD Steam gift card.

Any chance of some 2TB options for the primary ssd.

    • Its about the only component here that could do with another option. Everything else seems ok with some tweaks to suit your needs. Secondary SSD has more options, so maybe have to use that and ask for the nvme's to be swapped in the install so you start with a larger or more performant one.

    • +1

Not at this stage as we only have MSI 1TB on hand, you are welcome to add a 2TB SSD as a secondary. One of the SSDs must be MSI to be eligible for the $225USD gift card. Whether it's your primary or secondary SSD, it doesn't matter as long as an SSD is from MSI. We can swap it around for you if you'd like so that a 2TB SSD is your primary SSD 😁.

  • How does the return to base warranty work? Customer pays for returns back to you?

    • +2

Negative, in the scenario there is a warrantable fault we will cover the return freight costs along with organising a courier pick up. All parts or labour will be provided at no cost provided there is a warrantable fault. Freight back to the customer is also covered at no cost provided there is a warrantable fault.

  • Can you help me pick a gaming PC for my son? He’s only 10 and mostly just plays Roblox and Gorilla Tag (on VR) but he has an interest in making his own games. He has a basic old PC he has started with but I thought a new one might offer him more.

    • Depending on the resolution he's playing on will determine what is most suitable. 1080P go for the RTX 4060 or 4060 Ti GPUs, if 1440P go for an RTX 4070 SUPER or RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.

  • Is the ram cl30 or cl32?

    • The base model RAM is CL32 and SK Hynix A-Die, could I please ask where you saw CL30 for the RAM in case there is a configuration error?

      • You can click pcpartpicker. The link is cl32 but the content is about cl30.

        • Yep, thank you for spotting that, from memory it was because PCPP didn't have a CL32 SKU. Thank you for raising this, can confirm it's CL32.

Hmmm.. nearly perfect config.. except the motherboard is absolutely awful… due to the poor VRMs. - 112 degrees celcius when running a 7950x on cinebench

its the 7th hottest board.. out of the 56 they tested. ..

For the minimal price difference between the b650m-gaming wifi and the b650m-a or b650m-gaming plus wifi (the matx version)
I would suggest trying to get the latter..

    https://www.techspot.com/review/2861-amd-b650-motherboards-p…

"This might be another B650 motherboard to avoid, as it only features a 6-phase vcore VRM using Sinopower discrete MOSFETs. If you're using a Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processor, this sort of power delivery should suffice. However, there are already several mATX boards in this price range that can handle the Ryzen 9 7950X, such as the Asrock B650M PG Lightning WiFi and Gigabyte B650M DS3H, for example"

There's also the MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi, which also costs $220 AUD here in Australia and is a much better-looking board. Firstly, the vcore has been upgraded to a 10-phase design, which will help greatly with VRM performance. You also get an extra PCIe slot and three more USB 3.2 ports. The second M.2 slot features a heatsink, and the I/O panel has a pre-installed shield with twice as many USB 3.2 ports.

It's a much better product, so it's puzzling why it costs as much as the non-Plus version here in Australia. We'll have to see how that plays out. Overall, though, it's a decent-looking mATX B650 motherboard, and we hope it can handle the Ryzen 9 7950X.

    • The plus has 4 slots for ram as well as far as i can tell. The base one is limited to 2. Going to say at some point even with 32 you'll be considering upgrading it , as every other gen before has gone this way eventually for a cheap upgrade path, though it wont be as big an improvement in the past.

    • It is a budget value board and there will be some limitations. I think in general it is not recommended and most users won't be running a 7950X with this kind of motherboard, it's an entry-level motherboard to be paired with the 7500F. I understand completely what you're saying, we try our best to provide a bargain and the best value for OzBargain. This will come with some limitations in features and performance unfortunately but we try our best to make it as minimal as possible. There are upgrade options to the B650M Gaming PLUS and B650M MAG MORTAR for people who prefer a better motherboard. Overall, the B650M Gaming Wi-Fi motherboard isn't a bad motherboard for the price point and what it can do as an entry level board.

hi can you add more SSD options please, i would love just 1 x 2tb SSD instead of 2 x 1 tb SSD. And the SSD processing is very low when comparing similar builds by EVATECH, the RAM is ok but evatech has RGB which is a cost difference as well. Nearly every other provider uses the MSI B650MA gaming pro for the same price point. can this be rectified?

    • +1

Of course, it can be however not at this price point, this price point is extremely sharp and the lowest in the market hence the differences in SSD speeds and RGB RAM. For your average user the SSD speed is more than enough and you'll notice that most people on the OzBargain market prefer no RGB, of course the market is big and this is not always the case. As I say all the time, unfortunately as much as we try cater for the whole market it's extremely difficult as there are endless combinations and needs. We try our best to cater for the average user, and if we can't then we provide reasonably priced upgrade options for them so that it can be more suitable for their needs.

If you're after RGB RAM and larger SSDs we have the upgrade options available. We only have MSI 1TB on hand, you are welcome to add a 2TB SSD as a secondary. One of the SSDs must be MSI to be eligible for the $225USD gift card. Whether it's your primary or secondary SSD, it doesn't matter as long as an SSD is from MSI. We can swap it around for you if you'd like so that a 2TB SSD is your primary SSD

  • Hi. This post indicates that "Bonus Game - Star Wars Outlaws (for purchases up until 07/11/2024 only)", but at checkout it says Star Wars Outlaws (Valid Only For Purchases BEFORE 11:59PM (AEST) 10th October 2024).

    Is the latter incorrect?

    • Yes, likely a configuration error. The promotion was extended to 07/11/2024 by NVIDIA. Whatever NVIDIA states the dates are as of today or in future will be the dates eligible for the promotion.

Edit: I've updated the dates on the builder, should reflect correctly in cart now.

hey, I want to get the 4070 Ti SUPER system for $2008 but I'm getting $2088 at check out with pick up. what am I doing wrong?

    • +2

same here, not sure why it is not $2008.

      • Price error in the description sorry, it's $2088 as per the title of the deal. Lots of numbers and system builds, my mistake. I've updated the description to reflect the correct price as per the title.

  • Hi Lawrence, any chance you cuold do any of these same builds minus a GPU? I've got quite a decent GPU i'd like to bring over thanks

    • Not possible sorry, these deals must have a GPU to be eligible for the MSI gift card promotion. The absolute baseline must be an MSI motherboard and GPU :).
