    Ooh, the 9800X3D/4080 pairing is very tempting.
    Probably overkill for me because I play at 60fps 1080p (on a Dell G3233D; I know, I'm a monster), but I reckon I could run a lot of leagues on Football Manager if nothing else.
    Will hold out for now, but appreciate the deal.

      I'd still get the most powerful processor possible (taking finances into consideration) for my ideal FPS situation.
      Back in the hey-day of the GTX 460TI (and 560Ti) I would lower the resolution just to squeeze out a few extra frames in my gaming - 1152 x 864 was a common one, due to the CRT monitor at the time, couldn't really tell what I was missing out on (if I was playing on a 21" monitor for example).

      The deals are super tempting, I'd imagine that it's hard to please everyone with the (varied) specs everyone has in mind for their dream "bargain" pc.

      I'd be more inclined to join the mayhem if the payment options were varied. I know it seems silly preferring to use zip/afterpay/paypal etc over a credit card. I think I just got more comfortable using them spending xxxx in one hit isn't as enticing to me as say spending the same amount in fortnightly installments.The funny thing I have with that is that I HATE debt hanging over my head so even though the payment options I use (eg: Afterpay - paying it off over 8 weeks) allow for split payments over a set time. I still pay it off WEEKS before any deadline. The most recent laptop I purchased….. I paid off the near $2,300 in 3 weeks instead of waiting the full 8.

      For the case fans themselves yes, you can turn off the case fan RGB lighting with our N5 cases now with the LED button. For the CPU cooler, it's an LED light and there is no way to turn off the lighting unless you swap to an ARGB cooler and use motherboard control software to turn it off :).

      RGB lighting can be turned off with the button on the N5 case, A3 case is essentially a massive mesh panel so cooling is fine. Most of the cases we have you can turn off the lighting on the case fans.

      Hi,

      Noctua is no longer stocked at this stage. Mirage default is an air cooler, you can opt for a larger one like the AK500 with no RGB and better cooling capability. Did you call after 6PM AEDT? Won't go through as we aren't in the office anymore sorry :(.

      Yes, there are lots of MSI deals with MAG Forge M100R that's small form factor and a front mesh panel that has better airflow than dual glass chamber cases. Can also upgrade to larger chassis cases like 320R as well.

      • Are there abit of spaces left to fit least 2 ssd?

      Yes, BIOS is always updated to the latest version on the day to support new CPUs.

      Do you mean 2.5" or NVME? 2.5" can fit two yes, if NVME can fit one more in the secondary M.2 slot if it's not used.

      Yes, it's sufficient for airflow and cooling.

      It does but it won't fit these small form factor cases unfortunately, the GIGABYTE one is large. If we can fit in the case chosen we will install it.

      For that price point, I think it is very hard unless AM4 or lower-end CPU and 16GBs of RAM. This doesn't seem to be a popular combo on OzBargain with a 4070 SUPER.

    Hi interested in this but just a couple of questions;

    Are there any cheaper AIO coolers available rather than Kraken?
    Regarding the case Nebula N5 mATX - Black any thoughts on this regarding temps as happy to upgrade this as well along with RAM and power supply.

    Looking at a potential upgrade path to a 5080 (trying to HOLD) but probably need a PC more immediate.

      This deal is more air cooler focussed to streamline operations, no other AIO options at this stage unfortunately. Temps are fine with the N5, if you prefer you can opt for a front mesh panel case for better airflow.
