Welcome to another forum topic for announcing 2023's monthly awards. Every month I will be picking some contributors from the community, and each would be awarded with $150 prize in gift cards. Note that we used to be able to pay out prizes with PayPal, however due to our PayPal account issues it's no longer an option.

Well done to all. Also, extra thanks to Clear for his great AMA.
AMA's are so much fun. Maybe in a few years I can talk about something else.

Winners from last month:
doweyy for posting the most voted deal in March, 15% off Apple eGift Cards @ GiftCards.com.au.It got +1172 votes and over 45k clicks, which makes it the most clicked deal last month as well. Apple products rarely get meaningful discounts butthat basically makes them 15% cheaper.
Scrooge McDeal for posting the most deals last month (111 deals with +51.5 vote average), and most popular being this public service announcement — VPN Access for All Google One Plans @ Google One. McDeal has also managed to post 5 competitions in March.
Chuanx for posting the most voted and most entered competition in March, Win an Easter Prize Pack Worth over $6000 from Aussie Broadband. There's no need to be an AussieBB customer to partake in the comp. Entry closes on 16 April so there's still time to enter.

Congratulations!
Congrats!
@TruePursuit save some comps for the rest of us to post :)
365 comps posted!! That's insane!! @TruePursuit how can you manage? Is that an all time record?
It takes a lot of dedication, I can tell you that, Scrooge! I have to devote my entire morning to finding comps and posting them. Then again, as a student who mostly spends time online, I often spend the day browsing. Lucky that I hadn't reached my limit most of the time and they weren't all saved as drafts.
Congrats to you also for having the most deals :)
@TruePursuit: Appreciate your posts TP, well deserved :)
I had a comp-posting phase for a while a year or so ago, I think max I could do was maybe 70 or so in a month but I couldn't keep up. You posting hundreds per month is mind-blowingly good
@CrispyChrispy: Thank you CrispyChrispy! Glad I could bring something worthwhile to the Ozbargain community
@TruePursuit: Thanks,🙂 much appreciated. Btw I tried posting few comps last month. I managed to post 4. Everytime I went to post another one, it came up as duplicate. Now I know why. 😋
@TruePursuit: You know you've been posting too many comps when you hit the 24 hour limit of 30 comps.
Oh wow, thanks Phalaxis! This is a real honour coming from you. My top record thus far.
Though I am getting busier so maybe you'll have to take the reign again ;)We'll see. I've been laying off a bit lately. I'll pick up the slack if necessary tho ;)
Thank you so much!! Just found out now. I didn't get a message.
What a wonderful team.. Congrats to the well deserved winners.
April 2023
Winners are:
I Smell Pennies for posting the most voted deal in April, YouTube Premium: Individual TRY ₺29.99, Family TRY ₺59.99 @ YouTube Turkey. The month that we saw a mass migration of ozbargainers moving between India and Turkey. These deal has now been marked as a long running deal.
Guke for posting 2 of the fastest trending deals, $1.99 Mosquito Zapper and $3.31 USB Hub / Cables / Adapter from Amazon. Both got over the +30 votes threshold in 4½ minutes and expired/out of stock in 10 minutes. Good job ozbargainers for cleaning up the Amazon warehouse.
BargainsGrabber for posting the most entered and 2nd most voted competition in April, Win a DreamHack Melbourne Custom Gaming PC from DreamHack Melbourne & Aftershock PC. Most voted competition was actually posted by neil on winning a road bike or 12 cases of beer — weird combination but certainly got lots of clicks.
Twix for consistently helping out with editing deals as a power user, doing 500-700 edits each month. Other than moderators, OzBargain currently also has around 15 power users that fix the title & descriptions of the deals.
Congratulations!
Congrats to the winners!
Congrats everyone!

nicholasv for posting our trending deal of the month, Free Spiky Monster Plush and Squeaky Spiky Ball for Dog from Amazon. It got +30 votes in 3 minutes & 7 seconds, and got to +100 votes in 13 minutes & 36 seconds — even though it was reported to be expired after 5⅓ minutes. In fact it was only the fourth most voted deal in July, and TA has posted the other top 3 as a rep of Cashrewards ($5 Bonus Cashback during Amazon Prime Day, $5 Bonus Cashback on $30 Spend and $3 Bonus Cashback on $30 Amazon Gift Card).

August 2023
Winners from last month:
The Milk Man for posting the most voted deal last month, 6 Months Free Trial of Uber One Membership with PayPal, which gets you free delivery & exclusive perks. Great for those who have not had Uber One previously.
BargainsGrabber for posting the most clicked deal in August, Google Pixel 7 $499.50 from Telstra — a deal that I have personally taken advantage of, twice. Even with Pixel 8 announcing soon, I doubt the price of existing model will drop this low.
TruePursuit for posting the most number of competitions in August. He has posted 303 competitions (amost 10 comps a day) with vote average of +6.42, most popular being Win a MG-1 Gaming PC from Maingear.
chickentaste for this most voted comment in August. Maybe we'll see this engraved on a spacecraft one day.

The look my wife gave me when I tried to explain this…
September 2023
Winners from last month:
Pharos for posting the deal of the month (or the year? or until 2090?) — 30TB Storage for Free until 2090 @ Google One. The same hack got propagated all over the Internet and how many of you are now sitting on multi-terabyte cloud storage that can be inherited by your grandkids? Fortunately we have not received any letter of demand from Google's lawyers, yet.
BargainsGrabber for posting the most clicked deal in September, 15% off Ultimate eGift Cards, and it also happens to be the 2nd most popular deal last month. That makes pretty much everything 15% cheaper everywhere.
shxhshzhz for posting the most deals in September. 65 deals were posted with vote average of +36.8, and the most popular is actually a deal about a TCL fridge.
Phalaxis for posting the competition of the month, Win a Hyundai KONA Hybrid N Line, which was the most voted, most clicked and most entered competition on OzBargain in September. Phalaxis has also posted 240 comps averaging +13.9 votes.

den_yong for posting the most clicked & probably one of more controversial deal last month, BYD Seal: Dynamic $49,888, Premium $58,798, Performance $68,748 — 20k+ click throughs but I am guessing only a tiny fraction converted into sales. 392 positive votes + 59 negative votes, mostly because it's an RRP post. Still, looking forward to catching one on the road soon.
shxhshzhz for posting the most deals in a month, 2 months in a row. He has posted 75 deals with vote average of +42.8, most popular being 60% off Selected Nivea Products + Extra 10% off Sub & Save @ Amazon AU.

BargainsGrabber for posting the most voted deals during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday shopping season. 50% off Pirelli Tyres @ mycar Tyre & Auto surprisingly became the most popular deal during BFCM, and even during the meetup I've heard people buying tyres on Black Friday. It has also been OzBargain's busiest Black Friday so far with 3.34m recorded page views that rendered the site almost unusable.
cooni for posting the quickest trending deal Free $5 Woolworths eGift Card @ SnackBack App, which took 6 minutes and 28 seconds to get +30 votes, and the deal was marked as expired after less than 10 minutes.
shaneb for posting the most voted competition, Win Ryobi Tool Packs from Ryobi, posted on the last day of November. He has posted 31 competitions in November with vote average of +13.2.
Congratulations!
Thanks Scotty. Congrats all.
For anyone that may be interested in entering competitions, I think it's also of note that probably one of the greatest* prizes ever won on ozb was won this month:
toodiefroodie won $13K : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/806889
(Runner-up is probably mgleds who won a 65" LG OLED TV : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/809135 )
*not the highest value! But straight cash is a better prize than custom tiles!
<3 I love OzBargain. Didn't know quickest trending was a thing!
Congrats to everyone!! Well deserved!!
December 2023
Here's the winners for the last month of 2023. Last December has been a slow month
shxhshzhz for posting the most popular deal in December, Join eBay Plus for $9.99 for 1 Year @ eBay Australia. +687 votes, and judging from the number of eBay deals posted on OzBargain each year, I am sure it would save many people much in 2024. shxhshzhz has posted 51 deals in December 2023 with vote average +60.8.
deal junkie for posting the most clicked deal in December, Country Road Merino V-Neck/Crew/Zip Jumpers $29.95 @ Country Road Outlet. At over +32,000 clicks to the Country Road Outlet, I am expecting to see some V-necks at the next OzBargain meetup.
Etheral Point for posting the most voted competition in December, Win 1 Prize a Day for 22 Days from Tefal. +59 votes, 264 entries from ozbargainers, and one reported winner.
Last one is a recommendation from our moderation team. djk, who is the newest power user on OzBargain, for helping out with competition edits, closing time fixes, etc.
