No free drinks for NSW, no alternative prizes it seems and no $10 beer sipcoins. BWS is normally quite expensive so we'll see if the sipcoins actually do much.

I actually love this comp each year, just got a $5 beer sip coin which I used to get a 6pk of James Squire Broken Shackles Lager Bottles for $6.75.
Downloaded app which is utterly crappy. No cooler. Will delete app and never use it or BWS again.

Similar for me - 3 swipes for 3 prizes. I remember same, same for last year - Lotsa wins early, then big drought as the weeks went by.
Speak for yourself I've only got 2/6 wins, and they were only $5 wine and $7 spirit sipcoins (I don't drink wine and spirits are more expensive at BWS)
No issues so far. just grand prize entries no sip coins for me. Glad they let team members play other company's I've worked for bar employees from entering even though prizes are drawn and random and we are customers to.
Foxxster there was an issue on the first day but its been resolved now.
I've received sipcoins for beers and premixed drinks. I'll be off to buy some beer soon, doubt I'll used the premixed one.
I redeemed my $5 sipcoin for a case of beer tonight, no issues using it in store, it was all quite straightforward.
I got a $25 adrenalin voucher (Min spend $250). I won't be using it so if anyone will use it then shoot me a message and I'll send it your way
And a $35 voucher too (minimum spend $350). Don't love how they advertise that in their total prize pool because you can use SP350S10 for 10% off orders over $350, which will actually net a better discount than the voucher lol. But if anyone wants it, then just shoot me a message and I'll whip it your way!
Anyone have issues redeeming a prize? I had no issues with redeeming a sipcoin, but I won a 6-pack and when I went to redeem it came up with an error message saying I had a bad connection and to try again. Had the error multiple times trying to redeem In-App and then after trying In-Store, error pops up and now the prize is greyed out and saying it has been redeemed. I went to my local BWS that I set in the app and they didn't have it in the system. So I just lost out on the prize :(

Same issue last year. Had to contact BWS to resolve. Took them a week.

Within the group that play at work and family it seems there are less prizes than last year. Have had 2x ppl win a 6 pack and 3x with single drinks out of almost 40

No issue here. From memory you want to check if the store has stock before trying to redeem, which seems a bit counterintuitive but that's how they roll.

Heineken Zero. Shop as per usual to see if the item exists, then go into the cooler and redeem in app. Alternatively go into store and redeem there.
Yeah, I think one issue is that you'll win the James Squire 345ml bottles but they've been discontinued for the new 330ml bottles.

And then when you get a sipcoin you might actually use it doesn't even take off the discount on some things specially marked "cooler"? Funny enough the things it works on are the overpriced products compared to other stores.

Anyone able to successfully automate this since they enabled Cloudflare protections?This app is amazing. I don't get the complaints. Allows multiple emails (dk if multiple numbers), the app works for me on two phones and im getting some great beer discounts because its only the first few days of the competition. Ive been buying cheap beers for like 1-2$ each. With a 7$ voucher, the Crony 4X which is already discounted can be bought for $4.

yeh i stacked with the james squire ginger ginger beer in the end got like 30 bucks of, didnt have the stone and wood that penny mentioned above at the local bws,

For people having problems with the app not working. Switch your WiFi to mobile data or vice versa. That's fixed it for me most times.
I have won a Can of pre-mix Gin and Tonic and a Stubby of James Squires in the last couple of days.
I combined a $7 beer sipcoin from BWS with a $10 mastecard giftcard win on the Coopers roll comp, and picked up a 4 pack of Pirate Life beer. And I then won a $30 Pirate Life voucher from that purchase. Free beer is the best tasting beer!
Has this gone down the drain? Compared to the start I have been getting only grand prize entries lately. I know it was already less 'winning' than previous years but now I can't win anything.
As they give out more and more prizes then the prize pool gets less, so going to be harder to get an actual prize. I did get a $15 spirits sipcoin today though, so still have prizes but I agree that it is far less frequent

Have been doing okay with this. Recently won $15 spirits and $10 pre mix. Bought 700ml gin for $27 and a cherry seltzer 4 pack for $3.50
Rain bird cherry seltzer 4 pack is $24 save $3 for me. Have not found any good deals to use the premix sipcoins on..
Those same seltzers were $13.50 on special for me, then minus $10. My local BWS has weird specials that don’t necessarily apply to elsewhere - I’ve noted this when posting other deals on OzB.

I personally don't think the $10 spirits sipcoin is worth it as they pretty consistently have 25%+ cashback on ShopBack/cashrewards. Unless you want some cheap(ish) mishka vodka for $32, then might not be worth!

I suppose they’ve learnt there lesson from last time offering actual money rather than a store credit for a selected product which only one can be redeemed per transaction.
