DISKAD (Rebranded Bosch Series 6/8) Integrated Dishwasher $319 ($287 IKEA Family Price) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ IKEA In-store Only

4110

Not sure if this is price error, but regular price wasn't $319 from vague memory. Google search shows as $1599.

Manufacturer number for this product is 23320, which is made by Bosch as per Ikea Belgium website.

Not sure about specific model, but Bosch only makes fully integrated dishwasher for series 6 and 8, which cost $1000 and up.

Deactivated user mentioned it's similar to Series 8 SMV88TX02A

tonester mentioned "IKEA integrated PROFFSIG and DISKAD are rebranded Series 6 and 8 respectively"

                • @samuraix29: Nope and that is fair enough I reckon, IKEA cust staff aren't removalists. It comes on a low trolley and it was easy enough for me to load into Tiguan SUV on my own.

                • @samuraix29:

the ikea guys wont help carry it? =(

The quoted $39 and $49 are actually for "Delivery to your door" and "Delivery into your home".

$39 gets it delivered to the front of your door while $49 gets it delivered into a room of your choice. I imagine the difference in cost has to do with insurance or liability or something.

If you simply require help loading it into your car at the store, you can just ask them.

Oh that is interesting! I collected just after 2pm and they denied / declined assistance to lift into the car, citing staff safety (same feedback shared on 2 previous C&C trips). No drama, it was an easy push-slide with some old large flattened amzn carboard boxes.

Oh I just realised that not all stores offer the service. I had a look at Canberra and Adelaide and they don't offer it. Whoops!

That's great, I'm going to do it myself too!

@xdpx: Just picked mine up. The guy who brought it out asked me if I needed help loading it into my 4wd. I said I'll come back and ask if I do.

It was an absolute breeze as I parked close against the kerb so the trolley was even higher than it normally would be. I just levered one side up against my boot/bumper and pushed it in.

Just received my item ready for collection. Time for a gander at the fascia, skirting, and the knobbie handle thingos and then to collect…

  • For those in Adelaide: just spoke to someone on chat and they said expecting more stock arriving next week. Couldn't back order or reserve though but advised to sign up to the alerts

Wonder if the price will still be the same…

  • How long before we seeing these on the marketplace? What would be a good price to buy these off the market place.

    • whatever you're happy to pay…

      • I have got one and don’t want anymore if anyone interested let me know based in Canberra.

Can anyone who has picked theirs up give an idea of how much can be shaved off the minimum height? Can the feet be removed or is that 865 pretty much it?

    • +1

      Also interested to know this

      • Me too!

    • +2

I can post a photo if you want but the feet in the fully retracted position don’t touch the floor at all ie they are not the limiting factor.

At the top the main issue with height is the corners top back. Excluding the side 5cm corners it is pliable for about 8-10 mm due to insulating soft material.

I made mine fit by cutting tracks into the underside of the bench top to clear the two corners.

I measured the dimension of my cavity front and bought the machine, turns out the cavity is shorter at the rear….. Queenslanders.

      • Bloody hell, that's annoying. I've got it wrapped up still as no time yet to investigate. Sounds promising though.

      • Hi bro would u be able to post a photo? I m hoping i can somehow modify this to fit my kitchen bench

        • +2

My machine is installed so I don't have photos of the cavity.

Here is a pic of the foot at the front. https://ibb.co/WgXRdpK

You won't be able to get any more clearance from the bottom of the machine.

          • @Nuggets: Thanks bro. From the pic it doesnt look like I can reduce anything there. What about the top of the machine - anything that can be done to reduce the overall height?

            • +1

@jeeg: Not really. The top has soft insulating material. It doesn't quite measure to the full spec height, but IIRC it was pretty close. Maybe 5 mm shorter than spec.

              • @Nuggets: Thanks bro. Looks like I am out of luck for this one.

  • I just received an updated invoice with the amount refunded. Has anyone successfully collected?

    • Yeah, I picked up this afternoon. Maybe someone grabbed yours by mistake at the store.

  • Good deal but looks like a headache trying to figure how to make a front panel.
Getting something semi decent looking might be troublesome.. probably why they are on sale and trying to get rid of it…

You can buy the actual panel for $63.

probably why they are on sale and trying to get rid of it…

No, integrated dishwashers always require you to buy your own front panel to suit the rest of your kitchen.

    • If you want to match your existing kitchen, depending on what you have you could try these guys:

Spoke to staff in store at Richmond. They said this item will be discontinued in July. Assuming this is the reason for the big discount.

so does it mean it affects the warranty?

  • Refund processed :)

    • happy refund?

      • maybe change of mind and refunded

I have received an email that the product is ready for collection at the Canberra store.

    My order was cancelled :(

  • I have a series 8 bosch freestanding under my bench top.

If I bought this (assuming more stock appears), could I just take out my current one and just slot in this Ikea dishwasher? Or would it need to be installed to the cabinetry?

    • You need to buy a front panel for it. You can get a stainless steel one that is $90 or so if you don't want the integrated look, also need to buy a handle.

  • Seems my order is confirmed and I'm picking up tonight. I'd like to check its absolute minimum height and how much I can gain by removing floating floor, but if it won't fit I'll probably have one to sell (Melbourne).

(unless I can convince myself that the kitchen needs redecorating)

    • +1

Happy to take it off your hands in Melb if it doesnt fit

    • I'd be ready to buy it too if you're selling. :)

    • I removed half my kitchen flooring and just got it in there. Sorry.

So ive arrived at ikea north lakes and have successfully picked up the dishwasher.

I forgot to use my family account but they provided me a gift card for the difference.

    Half price mains on friday

Buy a main and get $25 off $100 spend which ill use on the extra parts needed.

Huge win for me today as this is exactlg what we need for our new house build.

    Again, excellent find op

    • Wow from the carpark bay photo looks like they had quite a few in stock compared to the 2 at Logan.

      • Got the extra parts, i think the final value comes in at just over $400.

    • What other parts you got with it required? Please if can provide linkssss

      • someone else posted them here earlier, expect you also do need a bracket as well to connect the panel to the dishwasher.

you don't need to purchase the same handle and you can purchase the same handle as you used for your kitchen.

        • The IKEA front panels come with the brackets already attached.

    • Was there some left in store at North lakes?

    • You wouldn't happen to have an image of it unwrapped without the door on? Does it have big holes on the front? Eg does it really need the additional door

  • this dishwasher is 48kg… click and collect would be challenging with Pajero?

    • same weight as a chubby child so it should be possible?

      • It'll be a lot harder to hug and lift a dishwasher compared to a child, but probably still doable solo with some levering. Unless there's a massive lift kit installed maybe…

Should be no problem with 2 people I imagine!

    • Easy for me into a VW tiggy. Took some stiff cardboard and a trolley as a lever if needed (wasn't). Easy push slide up into the wagon with the cardboard folded down over lip of the car. Reverse process to get it out a few more mins. Be a bit careful moving it on a short-footed 2 wheel trolley though, but also doable.

    • Nope, pick it up alone. Push the trolley all the way up to the boot and just tilt it up and push in with the backseat down.

I also moved a washing machine and dryer my self.

    • I got it into my model y solo

      • I saw the pics, looks like hippo jaws gaping wide open! It's a great design feature, following great hatchbacks of the past.

  • Messaged the chat with my order number - c&c from Richmond has been sold out and next lot of stock is due on Thursday so the click and collect will be delayed…

    • next lot of stock

Wait so they are getting in more stock then? Or is it only for the existing orders? Guessing this is state based and not nation wide in terms of distribution centres?

      • Called up and some stores will get more stock

    • Thy just cancelled my order

      • Likewise

  • Anyone picked up from Marsden park NSW ?

    • +1

Yep, while I was there I saw an other couple picking it up too.

    • Yup just picked mine up!

    • did you receive a SMS that it's ready or did you just go pick it up

      • Got Mail for pick up, there was no SMS

back in stock in perth, but not allowing click and collect for some reason

    • More to come this week

  • Building a new Kitchen. Do I need to buy the door or will the cabinet maker make the door?

    • Yes

    • There are parts you need to screw to whatever you want. If you have a cabinet maker making other doors for you they can just make something that is the correct dimension and you can ask IKEA for the parts you need.

  • Back in stock in Perth but can't click and collect

    • shows out of stock for me :( must have sold out again

  • Jut got cancellation text from Richmond Vic

  • Back in stock in Canberra

    • @sonjawanderlust

      • Thanks! missed it again tho :-(

        • Sorry to hear, hopefully you have some success soon! Also, welcome to ozbargain and sunny Canbrrrra! ;)

  • I own a different IKEA dishwasher bought in 2020 that has an electroux logo on the door panel. The light blew in 3 months and IKEA promptly sent out an Elextroux repair guy to fix it. The great thing about IKEA dishwashers is the warranty - 5 years where many other manufacturers only offer 2 or 3 years.

  • Far out this is identical to my Siemens (also a Bosch brand).

The specs are identical and both 42 db noise level. Amazing dishwasher performance and an insane price

Bought delivered in Perth, website was crap and wouldn't let me click collect even though I'm like 5mins down the road.
Paid the $39 for delivery, I should lose my ozbargain licence for that but also for buying a dishwasher when i have one thats 18months old :P

    • I cant see it instock in perth ;(

  • Just picked up ours from Richmond IKEA. I can't believe this deal was legit… @MagicMushroom you're an absolute legend.

  • Bought this just a few days ago and it’s delivering tomorrow, dunno if it’s still a good deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/848740

    • Considering all are same, financial wise, i would consider this deal to save a $$$

      • But I can’t return it as they will charge a restocking fee :(

        • Buy a spare, and even out the cost!

  • The door has got heaps of spring in it. I'm hoping once I put a panel on it the thing will stay open. Also seems a lot noisier than I thought it would be.

    • Have u already installed it?

      • yep.
