DISKAD (Rebranded Bosch Series 6/8) Integrated Dishwasher $319 ($287 IKEA Family Price) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ IKEA In-store Only

4150

Not sure if this is price error, but regular price wasn't $319 from vague memory. Google search shows as $1599.

Manufacturer number for this product is 23320, which is made by Bosch as per Ikea Belgium website.

Not sure about specific model, but Bosch only makes fully integrated dishwasher for series 6 and 8, which cost $1000 and up.

Deactivated user mentioned it's similar to Series 8 SMV88TX02A

tonester mentioned "IKEA integrated PROFFSIG and DISKAD are rebranded Series 6 and 8 respectively"

Would probably be worth the drive if you really need one

Does ikea usually honour price errors? Well fingers crossed it isn't cancelled

    • Not a price error, it's correct :) snagged myself one today, just a clearance sale

  • Now I just need a matching oven

  • Got 1. But now oos in Marsden park. Hopefully they will honor the order.

  • +2

This would have been actual profit if it had been a few months ago with the Qld gov grant.

This integrated dishwasher requires a Max. installation height: 92.5 cm which is quite high…our is only like 82cm…

    • +6

It doesn't require 92.5cm, it requires 86.5cm. Although that still doesn't help you…

      • +1

True, won't fit at all. Will cancel, thank you!!

        • +2

your bench top clearance is similar with mine - around 830mm. We are both missing out.

          • +1

            @jeeg: Sigh…I genuinely needed a new one.

          • @jeeg: Interestingly, Appliances Online doesn't even sell any free-standing dishwashers that require less than 84.5 cm of height. I wonder what’s wrong with my countertop clearance, lol.

          • @jeeg: thats so low :(

  • +21

Dishwasher sorted. Now to buy a house for the dishwasher.

  • Could not deliver to me. I need to pick up from Marsden Park. I hope it won't be cancelled.

sold out while i was measuring the spot

Buy once, measure later, as they say.

    • +2

Same. Have been looking for one of these for my new build. :-(

      • Ordered one for Perth - see if the order actually goes through!

  • This is my current/broken dishwasher, and the space is just enough,

    HEIGHT: 820–890 MM
    WIDTH: 596 MM
    DEPTH: 550 MM

Does that mean this one won't fit? Could someone please help and advise?

Edit: someone advised it won't fit, I will cancel it.

    • +1

It’ll be a close shave but might be worth a try. If it don’t fit, return it.
Nothing to loose but a dishwasher to (ozbar)gain!

      • Thank you for your comment! Haha! I've never really used a dishwasher (the current one has been broken for about 10 years). Could you please help me understand how this integrated dishwasher is considered worth a try if it requires a height of 86.5-92.5 cm, while my current one's height is 82-89 cm according to the spec sheet? And then there’s only about 0.5 cm of space left, visually.

        • So doing the math, it looks like your bench top height might be around 82.5cm…which is not good.
But get out ya tape measure & verify this distance. You’ll need to measure the actual distance between the underside of your bench top to the floor. If this measurement falls between 86.5cm & 92cm, then you’re g2g. But If it isn’t…then your sh#% outa luck!

          • @ja72: I just measured 84.5cm. I am out of luck.

If I rent a van and drive to canberra, how many others need a dishwasher brought back to melbourne haha….

Out of stock? I can't add in cart for Rhodes and Tempe

    • Yeh sold out at least 20-25 min now.

      • How did you guys always get this kind of deal so quick? Do you set up notification from ozbargain website?

        • Nah just happened to be looking at OzB when the deal got posted. When I looked, there was only 10 in stock at Tempe, none at Rhodes.

          • +2

@calinya: I subscribed to the ‘30 likes in 30 minutes’. Seems to be catch most of the good deals…at least for me it does.

            • @ja72: It sends me emails of stuff I don’t really need but everyone else is getting one so why not jump on the band wagon…it’s pretty cool tbh!
              Heavy FOMO, lolz

  • Got in early and bought one from richmond click & collect $319. However just realised it wont fit. How do I cancel, the app is only giving me the option to re-shedule not cancel.

    • +2

The website and mobile website give you an option to cancel

    • +2

Someone will take it off your hands, I thought about it for too long and missed it but also won’t fit

    • Just sell it on marketplace or whatever for $500 bro

      • +5

Yeah, but then i have to get off my arse and actually go and collected it. In hindsight im too lazy for that.

Plus ill be obligated to eat like 10 of those little hot dogs.

    • I will take it if you are in Sydney.

      • Melbourne, But youre more than welcome to drive 20 hours round trip to collect it.

        • Hey mate. Keen to grab this from you if the offer is still available. I can go collect myself. Will likely need some details from you to allow that. Please PM if keen

        • Will graciously accept if Daniel feels charitable :)

    • Same boat, so I've punted delivery to Thu evening next week and will call them in the morning. Might go and look at one in store in case can squeeze into my 86.2cm DW bay with an 84.8cm entry height.

      • How do you squeeze it (min 86.5cm) if the entry height is 84.8c,? I just measured mine and it's also about 84-85cm…

        • Is 84-85 normal counter height?

        • Entry bay height for me is due to a wood feature under the bench top, above the current DW. Remove if needed but I'd rather not. Depends on the actual physical product dimensions, usually they define a bit of space for radiant heat dissipation and the feet have some vertical thread but there is always an absolute min height limit. Looking at the manual is not promising. The other PITA is assembling an integrated DW unit (which looks like crap without any fascia). I took a wildly optimistic punt (given IKEA generally pretty good about cancels / returns) this may have a plain fascia but that also appears unlikely.

          • @xwx:

You should be able to use this?

            • @eug: Yep, cheers (and there is 2 slightly cheaper). I'm not troubled about needing those bits (others maybe unfamiliar) & also prepared for the assembly effort. My biggest hurdle will be the absolute minimum phys height required.

              • @xwx:

Yep, cheers (and there is 2 slightly cheaper).

Oh, which are the cheaper doors?

My biggest hurdle will be the absolute minimum phys height required.

I wonder if you can remove the screw-in height adjusters to get an extra cm or three of clearance.

                • @eug: [Apologies mate, you linked direct to the cheapest option]
If you are on desktop view, click the panel options list and it will show how much $ +/- for each other option. Removing the shaft for the feet occurred as a possibility, but not great to have it resting directly on the floor and probably yield half cm. If it comes to that I'll just keep it for future use. My hopes are resting on the actual physical dimensions being a bit shorter than 86.5. It will be shorter but unsure by how much (you couldn't move an 86.5cm product into a gap of 86.5cm).

      • Happy to take it off you if you are in Melb and it doesn't fit!

        • +2

Lol, I'm in CBR and may have 2 due to the "order review hold" on my first attempt. If they actually honour it, 100% expect a lot of ppl to cancel / return once they discover the effort involved in assembly and how an integrated DW looks without a face foot and handle (+~$100 min)

          • @xwx: haha, good luck to you!

          • @xwx: Good point…

          • @xwx: I would be happy to take it off your hands! I am in CBR as well. In my experience with IKEA if something goes into "order review" your method of payment has declined. But it has nothing to do with your bank, its IKEA's payment system.

            • @sonjawanderlust: thanks, will let you know. There is a comment indicating they have large inventory or more stock coming, so you may have a chance directly. My first order auto-cancelled (I perhaps got my visa verified code wrong) so I've just got a single order in place. Probably not much chance of them retrospectively reducing your order cost but worth asking them (especially if it hasn't been delivered / collected).

              • @xwx: I'll keep checking the site for more coming in but am not hopeful they will price adjust mine. I have it here at home already still packaged because reno was delayed… I am sure your cancellation had nothing to do with what you did, I had so many headaches placing online orders for my kitchen pieces and having the same thing happen. It's their payment system.

                • @sonjawanderlust: Trying to send you a PM .. but you don't have private messages enabled ;-)

                  • @pinchies: Grr. Recently returned back to Oz and new to the site so they limit communications…Not very nice IMO :-(

    • Happy to pick it up

I am happy to take it off you. I can collect from Richmond too. I cant private msg you though. Let me know :)

      • -1

        Hi, private message me

        • Were you still looking to sell yours? You have DMs turned off lol

        • Did you sell it yet?

    • -1

Is it still available? I can't dm you

  • Just bought one and don't know difference between free standing and integrated.

    • +3

Integrated means you have to buy a facade and handle to match the rest of your cabinetry.
Freestanding will have a typically white/stainless steel facade and the controls on the front.

      • oh well, spend $300 to build a shell… haha…

        still cheap… $600 for a freestanding dishwasher.

  • delivery option doesn’t work for WA
OMG why did I have to be away!

    • +3

Damn. I just got one 10 minutes ago delivered

      • +4

    • I just got one sorted. It's being delivered tomorrow.

Service desk sorted it out and having it delivered for free tomorrow,

  • Damn missed out. If anyone in Perth wants to cancel, I'd be happy to take it off you.
