DISKAD (Rebranded Bosch Series 6/8) Integrated Dishwasher $319 ($287 IKEA Family Price) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ IKEA In-store Only

4150

Not sure if this is price error, but regular price wasn't $319 from vague memory. Google search shows as $1599.

Manufacturer number for this product is 23320, which is made by Bosch as per Ikea Belgium website.

Not sure about specific model, but Bosch only makes fully integrated dishwasher for series 6 and 8, which cost $1000 and up.

Deactivated user mentioned it's similar to Series 8 SMV88TX02A

tonester mentioned "IKEA integrated PROFFSIG and DISKAD are rebranded Series 6 and 8 respectively"

Found this thanks to O O's comment on Insufficient Quantity Deals

adding to cart will show regular price as $1,599

    • I'm not sure if I understand your comment correctly, but adding it to the cart and going all the way through to checkout including delivery is $378 for me (without logging in to the IKEA family membership)

      • +1

think he means it shows the original regular price as $1,599 (which is true), not that it reverts the price to the regular price

      • +3

first line OP mentioned they weren't sure how much it was normally

    • Just out of interest,
the Bosch series 6 integrated is RRP $1699 appliansonline have it for $1457
The Bosch series 8 integrated RRP $2599 AO have it for $2131.

Regardless of which one it is, an absolute ozbargain.

  • +1

Got one. Fingers crossed it’s not cancelled. Cracking deal! Thanks op

  • +5

$319 is probably for the panel

  • +16

Well, placed an order for a dishwasher i dont think I need. Lets see how this goes.

    • +3

You and me both…. why do you do this to me Ozbargain!

      • Happy to buy it off anyone who needs to get rid of it in Melbourne. Feel free to pm me.

    • +1

What will you do with the dishwasher if Ikea honours the price?

      • +1

Deals like this always make me think of the time I didn't buy a drone despite seeing the deal very early on and everyone either got drones or $250 gift cards. Maybe people buy random dishwashers in hope they'll get declined and receive a tasty gift card instead

        • I got one of those $250 Bunnings vouchers. It was awesome. Would have liked the drone though…

        • You and me both mate. I was too tight to splash the cash on a drone. =(

    • Probably stating the obvious but just to confirm with you that this is integrated not freestanding.

  • +3

I just bought for $319 thanks! I was just about to buy a Bosch under mount for over $1k more, so perfect timing. Just need to get a panel for it I guess.

  • +1

$319 is the limited offer price, and $287 is the IKEA family member (free to join) price.

  • +10

Welp, I'm renting but I've bought a dishwasher.
Suppose it'll sit in the storage cage until I buy a place.

    • +14

Remove the dish racks and list it as a room for rent? Could get a couple hundred per week in Sydney. Maybe that covers your rent and you'll be a home owner in no time :)

    • +1

If there isn’t already a dishwasher installed at the property, and have a reasonable relationship with the owner, you could ask them if they are interested in coming to an arrangement so you can have your new dishwasher installed.

The kitchen in the last apartment I rented was literally crumbling, so I contacted the owner to ask if they had thought about investing in a refurbishment and they actually thought it was a good idea.

The designers even integrated my dishwasher into the plans and it was installed with the rest of the refurbishment. Of course I disconnected and took my dishwasher with me when I eventually moved out.

    • +4

Came here for a dishwasher, leaving with a house

  • Unfortunately white doesn't match any of my other appliances. Cracking deal though!

    • +3

I’d say you’d be able to change the front panel to match your decor, considering it’s integrated.

      • +3

I am pretty sure integrated dishwashers aren't sold with a front panel (i.e. the white door in the photo)

        • The integrated DeLonghi I bought a few years ago came with a metal front panel.

          • @bio: As in an actual proper metal panel facade? Or you are referring to the metal door for the panel facade to be mounted?

            • @truetypezk: It was an actual facade. I didn't even bother replacing it with a timber panel and used it like a freestanding dishwasher.

              • @bio: Interesting, maybe it is designed to be a standalone/integrated dual-purpose one.

    • +1

It’s integrated. I think you can change the front panel

    • +3

It probably doesn't include any front panel

      • +1

Yes. Doesn't include panel. You'll need to buy that and the handle separately.

    • +1

You can get a cabinet maker to make a panel for you. In 2020 I got one done for $200 cash in Laminex matching my kitchen cabinets.

    • +1

It's fully integrated. It presents as the same as the rest of your kitchen cabinetry (once you colour match the door and provide a handle).

  • Shows as $319 in cart but once you sign in, price drops to $287. Fingers crossed they honour it or have stock left.

  • Wait, this is such a crazy deal. But I don't need a dishwasher. What do i do?

  • +7
    • Yes that’s what i doubted too when you google the cache still shows $1,599

  • ordered , lets hope its delivered

    • Did you get it?

  • +2

For once, I got in early enough. I usually miss out on these crazy deals.

  • +7

Why TF am I seriously debating buying a dishwasher when the current one is basically brand new & under warranty for the next 4 year! I have a real problem!

    • +1

      You and me both :(

      • +3

There has to be a support group for us!

        • +4

Oz bargain is your support group my friend

    • +2

I’m renting and still thinking about it. I think we all got the same bug m8

      • +1

        I'm in the same boat..

    • Buy now, and worry later. IKEA has one year return policy haha.

    • +5

welcome to ozbargain - my name is rob - im an ozbargainer

      • +2

        Hi Rob

    • I bought Bosch series 6 last month and just got it installed last week…

      Too late now

      • I'd just spent $292 on a repair for a 4 y.o. Miele dishwasher.
$80 on a part, the rest on labour.

Could have a new one at this price. (sobs)

        • +1

Current Miele offer is a 5 year warranty (this includes dishwashers), I think you have an argument under ACL that your dishwasher should have lasted at least 5 years.

      • You made the right choice, the Ikea dishwasher comes in 18 various sized boxes and an allen key that you have to put together yourself. lol

  • DIY install possible?

  • +1

I've ordered as well at $287 family price + $39 delivery. Fingers crossed!

  • +1

This had better not be some heap of crap brand

  • OOS for Click and collect in Richmond. :(

  • Anyone else get "order under review" as their confirmation email?

    • +1

      not for me

    • +1

      I got 2 emails:
      - First saying "Order confirmation. Thank you for shopping at IKEA. Your order number is …"
      - Second saying "IKEA - Proof of payment/Tax Invoice for order … Thank you for your order! Your order … placed on 6/6/2024 is being processed and you have already received an order acknowledgement. This is an automatic mail with your tax invoice attached."

    • +1

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciated. Gave it another go with different CC, and kept my IKEA name same as the payment card. That generated the same result as you've described. Discover the final result tomorrow I suppose. Door & handle are probably $899. lol, also can't cancel first "order pending review" and, fml, DW bay height is 86.2cm. Sigh.

  • +1

Ordered one for click and collect . WA.

    Let's try.

  • +3

Worktop, door, plinth and handles are sold separately.

This model is designed for built-in installation.

    • +1

Does it mean I can't just place it into the spot and start using?

      • +1

You can. It'll just look crap.

      • That's the spirit!

  • +2

I was really keen but just checked that the height clearance of my countertop to the floor is not sufficient to fit the dishwasher in. 😭

    • +14

You're meant to order first then work out if it's suitable.

    • +3

There's gotta be a circular saw deal on here somewhere!

    • +1

How old is your kitchen? There have been standard heights for decades.

      • old enough i guess. the maximum clearance below the bench top to the floor is only 830mm :-(

    • If it really is the series 8 then it would be a little taller than run-of-the-mill dishwashers. When we had one installed a few years back we had to have a centimetre or so shaved off the bottom of the front bevel of the countertop so that it could slide into place.

So you might find that it fits under the countertop, but the lip of the countertop is lower and needs to be cut.

  • Damn just paid 1k a few days ago for a Bosch dishwasher, but this is much better value :( and oos in VIC

  • On purchase it noted that the panel, handle and something else was sold separately - does this mean it comes as a normal dishwasher?

    • +1

Integrated dishwashers come with the front door, or rather without the outer layer of the door

  • +5

Thanks, but no thanks. A true OZB washes by hand!

    • +1

Clothes into the machine and start reading comments

    • Haha, but you can probably make lasagna in this while washing your clothes

    • +1

true ozb leaves it out in the rain then cheers the brush turkey on when he pecks at the left over bits

    • +4

True ozbargainers use the water at the park across the road, an extension cord connected to their apartment building’s external power, and the bbq to cook on…

      • Yasss! I ref posted this the other day, and realised it's 5 fricking yrs old. Hold on, gotta check on my risotto and bbq cart.

  • Wow. Tempted to buy another one at the this price as backup in case our current fully integrated Series 8 ever dies. Nice find OP!

  • No stock in Vic

    • +1

More coming this weekend apparently, keep checking the website in the mornings.

      • I have a series 6 already, but will buy another for this price and it can sit in the garage till someone needs one

  • So hard to resist! But I already have series 8 dishwasher!

  • Not sure will there be someone help with lifting into the car? I'm going to IKEA tomorrow

    • No

      • Lucky, I made it delivered. 46kg is impossible to handle by myself.

  • +2

Didn’t need it but bought it anyway :-) Thanks OP

  • +1

Re using integrated dishwasher as standalone:

  • +2

Now I feel pressured to buy an IKEA kitchen to match…

    • +1

      Right?!
I've just started a full kitchen Reno through IKEA because of this!
