bought two of these before, really good way better than the nb f80 from the same brand'

    • do they work well over time though/

      • I've had one up for approx 2 years with a 34" dell widescreen and it hasn't moved a cm since. Initial setup and figuring out how to tighten the piston thing with the allen key was a little annoying but smooth sailing after that

      • been using these for more than a year, working pretty well so far

      • We have a lot of of these in our office with 32" monitors and once tightened they have lasted well for years.

  • got this one a 32" found the mount will move itself… kinda annoying to always need to adjust it back. im talking about within 1hr it will have rotated slightly on an angle

    • +9

Sounds like you might need to tighten the joints with the Allen key.
I have a 34" monitor and doesn't move an inch unless I move it.

      • thanks will try

    • +4

We have about 12 of these all running various 32" monitors with no issue in my office, so I would look into how tight you have it as none of ours have moved at all.

  • Probably one of the best buys I did with this stand. Previously had the f80 but needed that extra height and this was absolutely perfect. Hold the 34" monitor quite nicely and easy to move when I need. Highly recommend!

    • Didn't hold 34'' from similar deal for me https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/870566

      • Holds my Xiaomi 34" with no issues for like a year now.
        Weights look identical 8ish kg.

      • Got the dual H180 version of this mount for the same 34" Dell from that deal. It works absolutely perfectly, you just need to adjust the tension to match the weight of the monitor.

    • cool. is that extra bit on the back of the base for cable management removable? Doesnt look like it - seems part of the clamp. Looking to get close as possible to the wall - but realise the arm its may be the more limiting factor…!

edit - from a YT vid actually looks like it is!

      • +1

Mine doesn't have that it has that other plastic cable management on the stand part only, which I use all the time.

Just remember to install with some clearance first and then move the desk. Just makes things easier when trying to screw things into place. Made that mistake after thinking I had it right and needed to adjust.

  • So instead of getting the H180 which is dual, I already have h100, should I just get this and take the arm out to put on the existing H100?

    • +3

Two singles is much better than a dual

      • I had a single, then got a dual. Why is two singles better?

    • Yes, I believe I read in a previous deal that the post on the dual is the same height as the single. So they could limit the packaged size.

You can definitely just slide a second arm onto the same post.

  • +1

Great arms, though I find you need some space between the desk and wall for the arm.

    • +5

About 30mm if anyone is wondering.

      • I was surprised with that value, as mine is only around 5mm. But turns out I have the H80 (27") not the H100.
The H80 doesn't have the extra cable management junk on the base.

        • +1

that extra junk looks removable from a review vid I saw

  • These are awesome.
I'm right at the limit with a 38" 10kg monitor mounted but its still been great.
Definitely recommend it over the F80

    • What are benefits over F80, from your experience?

      • +2
        • Bigger range of motion (H100 can go higher)
        • Easier to swing back/forth without accidentally adjusting the height (since you can grab the horizontal part of the arm that doesn't adjust height)
        • Moves more smoothly in my experience
        • Prefer the look of the vertical pole (only part that is visible behind the screen) compared to F80 angled pole
        • All of these points are applicable to the H80 also (F80 equivalent capacity), great design.

  • Copped two, lfg

  • Bought two of these in the past, way better/easier to use than a dual monitor arm. For my use (2 27 inch, one vertical), I can push these closer to the wall than the dual arm from same brand I had before, but still a little bit of room required for cables to stick out/the mount etc. Way more flush though!

They've been quite solid. Easy to articulate. The base sticks in if that concerns you on desk space/if your desk is very shallow, but still save lots of room vs a built-in monitor stand.

I bought these to go with my new standup desk back in June. No sag/issues with holding weight so far!

(I paid 90 for 2 delivered, so this is a solid 12 bucks off if you need a couple!)

  • there is a vesa mount one that looks good https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BC16B5M3/ref=syn_sd_onsite_de…

    • Much lower load rating, suggested max 27"

    • +1

These arms all use vesa mount, its standardised

  • is it possible to put these on a desk with a flat back?

    • I wouldn't think so, but I'd like to know too!

    • +2

They can be mounted with the centre pin hole drilled directly through a desk if there's no lip overhanging, but if you're using a desk you can't drill, no.

      • Will it work with a 8cm grommet hole?

        • +1

You'd probably want to shim it either side of the hole with some solid wood + get a plug. All really depends on how thick the desk is already, the pin is IIRC about 14cm long, and about 4-5cm of that pin needs to be in the upper portion above the desk to secure it. You've got about 2cm needed for the wingnut and whatever shim you use on the bottom, so between those you've got about 7-8cm of room for the desk / desk hole / shims either side. The plate it comes with for direct mounting through the desk is only about 7cm wide on the bottom side. The top portion is a trapezoid about 14 cm on the long side and 11cm on the short side, but it makes contact on a slightly smaller area than that underneath.

  • Working great for a few years holding up dell 38" ultrawide

  • thanks OP! hopefully works well with my Philips 328P6V 32" 4K LCD Monitor from this deal

  • How dodgy is an Ikea Linnmon table top for this + a 27" inch monitor? Should I expect it to fold like wet cardboard or is this overestimated?

    • +2

Not familiar with that exact IKEA desk, but if you can get a couple of thin steel plates, you can sandwich them either side of the surface to help spread the load. I've seen them sold as an optional product, but obvs cheaper to DIY.

    • +1

No issues on my Linnmon tabletop mounted near the corner above a leg holding up 34" Xiaomi (which going by another comment in this thread is around 8kg). Have Alex drawers on the other end. However can't guarantee you wouldn't end up with some sag if mounted in the middle.

  • These are great! I got 2 of them last deal running on 32" and 27" montiors. Rock solid, excellent build quality.

  • Got two of these going, one is for my 34" Ultrawide and no issues at all (just check it's within the kg limits).

  • Bought one of these last week for a dell 32 monitor. Works perfectly, and takes up so much less space than the default Dell stand!! Would recommend

  • I've bought 4 of these in the past, they're fantastic. Others always have the monitor too low

  • I note people indicating they're mounting ultra wide displays on this arm. Is there any reason why it wouldn't support an LG 38WN95C Ultra Wide (6.45kg without stand)?

    • +1

If the LG is VESA compatible then I reckon you'll be fine.

      • Cheers. It's VESA 100x100 so should be fine.

    • Should be fine, although 6.45kg seems a bit low for such a big monitor so maybe double check that.

I'm using it with a HP z38c (10kg) and its right at the limit.
I had to do up the tilt adjustment extremely tight and even then it doesn't take much force to flop down.
That said, I've been using it for over a year and its still going strong (doesn't droop by itself over time).

The rest of the arm is totally fine with the weight, so seems like the tilt pivot is the limiting factor.

      • Cheers. Both the LG website and Rtings.com show it as 8.4kg with stand (6.5kg without). Lighter than you would think really.

        • Should work great then :)

  • Does this work for Samsung 34" curved screen?

  • I got two of these in the last month for $45 per unit, and they're excellent. Exactly what I needed. I have a 24" mounted in portrait (upright) on my left side, and a 27" in landscape in front of me. Assembly takes about 10-20 minutes per stand.

  • Too late for this, but for future:

    • How much clearance/width is needed under the tabletop of mounting it on the edge (rather than via a hole through the tabletop)?

    • Is there a minimum thickness of tabletop that it can be used on?

    • Would the clamp mark/indent the tabletop?

  • +1

Super happy with these. Can't believe the price point for the quality tbh.

  • Fudge - can't believe they sold out so quickly!

  • Anyone know if the G70 any good. I need one that i can easily lift up the monitor when i work from home using company laptop. So can use two screen. I have a 32" ultra wide. Thanks.

  • Damn missed out, was going to get one for my wife's boyfriend's gaming rig.
