It's a good arm. Buy two of these instead of one dual arm for better positioning flexibility.

    • +3

Agreed, made that mistake the hard way. Two of these is a lot better than a Dual Arm.

    • +2

Yep, especially with wider monitors the positioning can become awkward with dual arm.

  • Any real reason to choose F80 vs this one?

    • +1

As someone who has both, I'd get the H100 every time.
Bigger height range and adjusting height feels smoother/more stable

The tilt sucks, almost non existent, you'll probably fix it by tightening the screw

  • +2

i might be missing something, but interesting they're marketing this as only supporting up to 30" screens now. my h100 holds my s3221qs no problem (yet)

Why does size specification matter at all? Weight is what matters, no?

      • Weight

  • Cause I’m a tight arse. I already have this exact model holding a 27 could I just get this and move arm to my existing one to stack another 27 on top ? Rather than buying dual version of this model it’s exactly the same design and arms.

NB h180 is just the dual version of this model. So instead of getting that should I just get this one in the deal lol.

    • Yes, I did the same thing when going from dual to triple as I had one of these singles in the cupboard.

      • Can you elaborate on this? Are you clamping the second mount to the horizontal arm of the first?

        • Would be connecting both arms to the one vertical pole.

        • I was going to replace my dual with a triple then I remembered I had my original single in the cupboard. I made use of that along with the dual but they at opposite ends of my desk.

  • Side question.. any recommendation on arms for 32s?

    • +1

I'm using one of these for a 34" ultrawide - as long as the weight is under 9kg it should be fine.

I vaguely remember some people on ozbargain having quality issues that caused monitors to droop forward, which might affect a 32" more than a 27" (being a lot taller), but I think that was just bad QC - in which case you send it back and get a better one. (amazon is awesome with returns)

  • I'm looking at buying a new sit stand desk which means a new monitor mount too. Why are the likes of the Desky mounts etc so expensive compared to these? Is it just a gimmick?

  • In the reviews of this it shows the tilt angle doesn't support even 7kg let alone 9. The gus strut holds the weight but irrelevant of the monitor flops over
I had another brand arm that had the exact same issue

  • Thanks OP, bought 2

  • Anyone recommend any that can support dual stacking monitors? Should also add that the monitors would be 34 inches.

    • H180 is the two arm version of this. I think the arms are the same as the H100 arm, but the vertical pole might be a bit taller (not sure, dont remember).

And H160 was the equivalent dual arm version of H80

  • Looks like I'm reading this right..
I have a Dell S3423DWC, 100x100 VESA which this supports. Says its 6.6kg without stand so this arm would be fine for my monitor correct?

    • +2

I have a 34 inch samsung ultrawide and it's fine.

  • Don't know if i just got super unlucky because there seems to be a lot of praise for these but i just unboxed and tried to setup two of these and both failed completely (i had them sitting around for over a year maybe that contributed?)

    • Curious - what part failed?

      • the tension system

  • What is the maximum thickness desk this can attach to?

  • Thanks Op. Bought 3 for my setup. I took the advice that it is better to buy 1 arm for each of my 3 monitors.

  • Why did their screen fit changed from 22-35 to 17-30 and weight capacity changed from 12kg to 9kg?

    This was a year ago.

  • A bit of a silly question, does it come with screws for the VESA bracket?

  • Did anyone got the order delivered yet? I order on 7th and it’s still not shipped.

  • would this work on my 57" samsung monitor? has anyone tried it
