      • weird even during the 72hr timeframe, i only got a $100 evoucher for accessories. i was getting a s24 base, could that be the reason why?

        or did you have to have accessories valued at $200 or more for the galaxyai code to properly kick in? because I would put $120 worth of accessories and my final price would go up by $20.

          As for the amount just try 200+ and see if it does or not. I didn't check for sub-200 to see what the code did

            I only got $100 worth of accessories because the $200 didn't kick in at $120 (that's all the accessories I actually wanted anyway).

  • I am not receiving OTP emails to my gov email from samsung epp store to complete purchase, there is no option to select mobile OTP. I am trying since three days and samsung chat is useless, they said to email samsung online. I have sent 2 emails, they haven't responded. meanwhile, GALAXYAI has been reduced from 200 to 100. WTF. Anyone is same situation?

      Yep, I know someone with a Department of Defence email which was blocking the OTP email for trade up. No workaround unfortunately. Only way is to find someone to buy for you or try a edu account if you happen to have one of those.

      • mine is defence email. I do receive other samsung emails just not OTP which happened to be first time. Previous orders, samsung did not send OTP's to gov email.

          Is it the one from Asurion, the trade in provider? I think that one isn't from Samsung so possibly the mail filter is flagging it for some reason. Note mail filters typically look at the content and structure of emails, so could be a dodgy written email from a legit address that's still filtered out.

          Defence must have more aggressive filtering for obvious reasons!

          • @cloo: True that, I have been reporting samsung online email since 3 days, there is no response to that, i asked them to send OTP via phone. I guess tomorrow being working day, they may respond, if it is effecting all defence (whoever is ordering) that is a big impact. It might be well worth to email asurion directly

            • @Mighty man: I am in the same boat. I am working with DoD. I am trying since last 3 days but couldn't get the OTP from Asurion. I tried using my personal account and i am receiving OTP there but price is bit higher than government portal price.

              I called ICT helpdesk they couldn't resolve it.

              What's the work around i dont want to miss this deal. ?

      not sure if this is similar to my issue.

      i was not receiving OTP emails to my edu email.

      turns out they were being held in quarantine and i had to manually release the emails.

        true that, i have logged a job with ICT dept, but i highly doubt they will release the emails based on my individual request.

    • This is basically the problem at organisations email filtering setup, which is quite difficult to pass through.
      There are 3 possible options,
      1. Check with ur organisation if they can assist with an exception in email which is highly unlikely.
      2. Do tradeup separately via. Asurion app using a different email and use the tradeup ID generated into your order.
      3. I think you can modify ur email in your samsung account to something local while still maintaining ur EPP/Gov profile. This should let flow further communication to flow to the new email configured.

    I managed to grab the
    S24U 512
    Around $1365 with,
    $1 trade-in,
    1 x case, 1 x screen protector,
    2 x smart tags (pack of 4) - which I've now cancelled bringing the phone price down to ~$1160

    Although in trying to be cautious about not missing any voucher, I don't remember if I selected the "FREE Samsung care" during my order.

    Anyone know how I can check that now? My invoice and order details have no mention of Samsung care.

          I think you can still claim it within 30 days of getting the mobile, not 100% sure, give it a shot once you get the phone (with Samsung chat)

        Mines doesnt show on the emailed invoice, but when i go to my orders, its shows under the "awaiting dispatch" written in blue.

  • Has anyone got a tracking number yet? Status has been shipped since Friday.

    • Most of the time, Samsung doesn't send you the tracking number until you receive the item.
      They usually send you the phone via StarTrack Express the day before your scheduled delivery date.

        Yup, I was hoping some else might have received the tracking.

        In the past few years, phone has always arrive a day or two before the official release date which is the 29th.

        Apple on the other hand makes sure it gets delivered on a particular day and nothing before that.

      Chatted with a Samsung live agent; They advised me that its in the 'Shipping Preparation' status, which means the order has been generated to the warehouse which the warehouse will then, pick, pack, and dispatch the order.
      Unfortunately, even though it says shipped it hasn't left the warehouse - Seems to be an Internal reference for Samsung!

      Hopefully, they get Dispatched early this week.

    • Nothing yet, but someone above said they have received a partial refund. Straight forward card payment might be automated but other forms of payment might need an intervention.

      I paid via PayPal so I am aware that could take time.

            This is not true. They can cancel the whole order and refund you.

            • @CodeXD: Yes that, my comment was more about not giving partial refund and also not delivering that item.

            • @CodeXD: I don't think they can just cancel the whole order without getting customer confirmation. Also that doesn't seem to help Samsung much as well.

              They can however not refund the cancelled accessories amount, and they can state the reason that it was part of free voucher. Hope this is not the case!
