It has been cheaper before but I think it's a low enough price at the moment. Title says it comes with adapter

256GB also available for $34
Waiting for 1TB for around the same price… it'll get there one day….
Is it good for a dashcam?
It will work in a dashcam, but you would typically want to use an "endurance" variety of sdcard e.g Sandisk Max Endurance or Samsung Pro Endurance.
The endurance versions were made to handle constant read/write cycles, and apparently swings in temperatures inside carsThank you. I didnt know that. It seems the endurance version is even cheaper
Don’t get confused with High Endurance tho
The Max Endurance are $80 for 512GB.@Smokey010: I just bought the High Endurance. Is it the right one: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CHYB6V2M?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_f…
@drhip: Edit to my previous comment: don’t think Max Endurance comes with 512 GB
If you are ok with 256GB just set the loop recording in your dashcam, get this one instead for $59.99 Sandisk 256GB Max Endurance microSDHC Memory Card
They are bit expensive than high endurance for a reasons.
Cheers@Smokey010: They both come in 512GB, just listed separately on Amazon. Careful, 256 is a common limit on many devices, make sure your intended devices support larger cards.
~2x the life exapectancy (6yr vs 13yr), measured in recording hours, however no difference in warranty terms (5yr).
Unsure why they wouldn't back it for 10yr if they're that confident. It's not as though it's something that's fragile and prone to user wear and tear being the cause of failure. Anyone who can prove the purchase of a microSD card 10yrs after the fact deserves a replacement for their vigilance!
As such, I only purchase the 'High Endurance' variety. I'd only take the extra step if a failure means you lose something that you cannot regain. Dash cams are in that category for me, because it exists in the event that the worst happens for a split second someday/hopefully never.
Drone footage & cameras of most kinds fit this category, with the exception of security - catching the exception rather than the rule, and any. I did read a good point made by a photography enthusiast here… 512GB is ALOT of footage to lose if you're a habitual "change/download it when it's full" user. He suggested that ideal size drones are a battery length, but any other photography would of course be user dependant. But it's definitely long overdue that we rely on a single tiny little thing to hold everything safe… Most enterprise servers shipped OEM with a RAID-1 Dual-SD to USB headers after ditching other technologies.
@parad0x: Haven’t seen any Max Endurance 512 GB, not even on other retailers.
Fingers crossed for the Pro Ultimate again for around the same price
Still a chance of cheaper deals come black Friday weekend?
You’d assume so, I’m holding off
If you want slighter better card speed, the SanDisk 512GB Extreme PRO microSDXC Card is less than $10 more than this card currently on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09X7DQJQL?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_a…
I needed one, thanks OP!!!
