              • @lethalmoney: I've asked them if I could get on the phone to process my payment, ie me giving my CC details over the phone but for privacy reasons they refused.

                I must be missing something because everyone seem to be getting orders through or get notified when an accessory is out of stock but not me.

                I also tried just buying the phone on its own and still got stuck on the payment screen.

        • Yes, the funds were deducted. I tried paying but it didn't load so I just retried on app and browser a few times. For the order that succeeded, I actually just closed the page when it 'failed' to process my card.

  • Ended up going for this deal on the education store via the app - S24 ended up at $734.13, plus accessories for a total of $956.89.

    It's frustrating how limited the choice of accessories were with so much being sold out, but I'm still tempted to keep them as they may be useful and I likely won't get them at this price in the future - got a couple of 25W power adapters, a battery pack, leather case, and the 4 pack of air tags (though 2 would have been plenty).

      • Was a frustrating process to keep going back and forth trying to work out best options. Would have been much better if anything oos would have gone to pre-order, I'd have liked a wireless charger but they went pretty quickly.

  • Has anybody who ordered today have their order go past the first stage? I place mine at around 12:30 pm and it's still on "Waiting for Approval"

    • One of my orders is waiting approval from yesterday night. I checked with the sales team and was told that it needs to be manually approved by the tier 2 support team who may not be available on the weekend. He said they will get it approved on Monday.

          Similar to me but I just saw it now. It was already on "awaiting dispatch" but I was able to cancel the accessories.

          Thought I missed the boat! I almost think they did this in purpose doing it so early on a Sunday morning haha

  • Damn I only just came back to read some comments and saw it was possible to cancel accessories but keep discount on phone.
    Mine is now marked as shipped.

    Anyone know if they'd consider it a bundle purchase (even though everything was added separately) or I could change of mind return accessories for a refund after receiving?

    Edit: based on Samsung T&C it seems doable, but unclear what level of refund the accessories would get- assuming whatever the discounted price on the invoice/receipt is…

    • Yeah from memory you can return them within 14 days of receiving them. You will get the discounted price on the invoice, but that's what you would've gotten if you'd cancelled them anyway.

      • That's what I thought too. They'll be taking away some of the credit they gave for returning a device this way though.

        • Yeah, though in exchange they don't take the total $350 they gave for accessories.

          • @JR63: Yeah so they'll refund me the ~$71 [after coupon amount] for galaxy buds FE instead of the $99 I assume. Nothing else will change. Hopefully!

    • I would assume the refund would be the difference between what you paid for the phone and what you have been charged for the entire order. Given that they apply the discount to each items you should get back what was charged for the accessories. Unless it is buried deep in one of their T&Cs I doubt they will alter what was charged for the phone.

  • Whoever cancelled the accessories partially or completely, can you pls confirm if you have received the full refund without changes/impact to the entire order?

    Reason for asking: Samsung chat support has informed that cancelling partial items will impact whole order as it involves promotional discount applied

      That would be illegal to change the invoice $ for the item.

      Nobody has received refund yet, it can take a week or more.

      • I assumed this is the case (technically they are taking money out of my returned device credit).
        If they are going to refund the full amount, I'd might as well cancel the vegan leather cover which I'm not a big fan of.

      • They can also easily just cancel the whole order if you cancelled everything but the phone and well within their rights to do so. Which is more likely to happen.

          They could cancel the who order. Doubt it. They do these sales to have the phone out there. Not many know about these hacks, probably peanuts for Samsung

    • I've done this with a previous order for an S23U, had to add 2 accessories for 20% off bonus, cancelled the accessories and still kept the bonus for the phone.

      Spoke to an agent, they said just return what you don't need upon delivery.

        • They will still be individually boxed.

        • You will have to accept the whole box and then return what you need to via a return postage.

          Items will be in in their individual packaging obviously.

              @keepsmiling: You need to email Samsung saying you want to return xxx product(s).

              Make sure you have the order number, full name and address of the order.

              Then take pictures of the unopened item that you want to return from different angles, specifically showing the seal to show it is unopened.

              They will then email you eParcel Returns label with instructions on how to use it. You do not need to print it out. You can reuse the bubble wrap packaging that your items came in. Take it to Auspost and show them the barcode and Auspost will do the rest.

                  My child comment (that you replied to) is based on someone talking to Samsung live chat and the agent told them to:

                  just return what you don't need upon delivery.

                  So I provided my experience with it.

    • Cancelled at about 2pm on the 18th. Got the email straight away, no Paypal refund notification yet. I would give it until Wednesday easily.
