                • @bbking18: I don't know, probably not, I'm going to find out though!

                  • @Bdawg: It would nice if you can. I run out of ideas of paying bills. Used Hiver to prepay utilities. So stop buying Coles Mastercard although first time my local Coles has a bit stock. I would like to buy more but worried about being hacked.

      • Got a huge tax bill for FY21/22.

        • ATO is going to be very sus!

          • @Bdawg: Did it previous years as well.

Why would they though? They should be happy they dont need to chase debt.

  • Has anyone found any $250 cards in Brissy? I went to a couple stores ~9am this morning & they were cleared out (these stores had a few last promo) :(

    • Sure. 3 stores on the north side.

      • Lucky! Damn I'm not on the North side though

        • +1

Rochedale & Springwood. Whatever your local stores are, ring them prior to check if they have stock

    • CBD had some

      • CBDs are all Coles Express - no discounts applied per T&Cs?

        • +2

Was advertised in store and I got some on my way home

  • So if i add a few of this cards on shop back and use it up, can i delete it later tomorrow to free up the credit card payment methods to add more cards ?

    • +4

After around 3 cards, Shopback stops accepting any more. You need to wait a few days for a reset.

    • +1

Which gift you buy using your coles?

    • +1

yep doesnt let me add more cards, it says if i delete i would lose my cash back? is that correct?

      • has anyone tried to buy Ultimate gift cards on Shopback?
managed to buy 3 on shopback and activated but trying to log back into myprepaidcard centre again to view them again but I can't log in.
seems a bit dodgy. any experience with this website? my desktop virus keeps blocking the myprepaidcard centre website saying potential phishing.

      • +1

FujiFruit, in the past, the rep has said that means something else not cash back on anything you have already purchased. However, if you delete you still may not be able to add a new one as there are also time not only number limits. Best to have more accounts for family members.

  • +1

Just visited 6 local stores near me in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne no $250's left, asked at the service counter and was told none left as well.

Just received the weekly Coles specials email and it was also published in there

Not sure I'm going to be able to get any more

Will try again in the morning, hoping for a restock between now and then

    • +3

Please try ringing them before going. Thank you, hope u get some

    • Which stores? Coles Pacific Epping had a lot this morning, at the regular checkouts (not self serve), pretty much every row had some.

  • +2

Hornsby has so many on a table near checkouts gogogo

    • 250s?

      • +1

        both

        • But the staff are hiding them right?

  • +3

Hard to get any when blokes like above are buying 75+ alone

  • Can someone please advise how i can spend the remaining 3 cards now.

I paid council, strata , water bill already and have 3 $250 card left.

I tried to add them on Revolut but failed.

    Thanks

    • +2

      Prepay toll account, gas, electricity.

    • +2

Gas, water, electricity. Pre pay it

    • I use them for general shopping, paying my Australia Post My Business account. You can link them to PayPal too.

  • Hi . i wanna that may I reuse this coles mastercard to pay another coles mastercard at self-checkout?.

    • You will trigger the attention from the staff and they will stop you.

    • +3

That loophole already stopped now. System doesn’t allow like Woolies. No more double-triple dip.

      • What about using it to purchase other Non Coles Mastercard Gift Cards at Coles?

        • +2

You should be able to do this. Take the cards out of the sleeves. If the staff are watching keep a cc visible on top. Maybe buy the loadable Coles Myer Group for the same value as the Mastercard and then can use them next time to buy these Mastercards again. But even better to buy on SB as you can get another discount.

          • @Yola: Noob questions on loadable Coles Myer Group card:
            - Can I load the card Coles at self checkout?
            - What is the card limit?
            - If I want to load $500, can I do I split payment of $250x2?
            - Are they only available at Coles or also Myer?

            • +1

@F1ngolf: There are no noob questions unless they have been answered earlier in the same thread, or you can easily google the answer.

Can I load the card Coles at self-checkout?

I am not sure you can try.
Card limit $500 (yes easy to google)
Yes, you can spend part and the rest will remain.
They are redeemable in-store at Coles, Coles Express, First Choice Liquor Market, Liquorland, Kmart, Myer, Officeworks, Target, and Vintage Cellars.
They may be able to be purchased at all of these. I have personally purchased/seen them at Coles, First Choice Liquor, Liquorland, Myer, and Vintage Cellars. They are valid for 4 years better than many others.

            • +1

@F1ngolf: If you wanna get the group card, you can buy them at all the participating merchants. You can do split payments at all of them except Target and Kmart.

          • +1

@Yola: “ even better to buy on SB as you can get another discount.”
            What is SB please?

          • @Yola: Ive not used shop back super swap. Can i use multiple coles prepaid mastercards to buy 1 superswap card?
When at the self checkout does it allow me to buy coles prepaid mastercards with an e-gift card?

        • Do they have service charge like $5 for a $100 gift card?

    • I tried it yesterday and it didn't work. They don't allow you to split the payment at self checkout anymore. I forgot to try using the 250 card to buy 2 of the 100. It could still work.

  • +1

Plenty of $100 cards at Colonnades SA, but all the $250 cards were gone this morning and had not returned in the afternoon. Someone jumped on this opportunity early.

    • About an hour drive from me unfortunately 🤣

    • The staff had the $250 ones behind the desk at my store

  • Thinking of paying my health insurance premium in advance using these cards as the premium is set to go up by approx. 8% on 1 Nov.
If I pay my insurance in advance before the premium increase come into effect, does anyone know whether I will be able to utilise the lower rate for the paid days, or will the paid days be adjusted after the rate increases on 1 Nov?

    • +4

You will get the lower/old rate until your prepaid funds get used. So if you pay a year's worth if premium before 1st Nov, you will get the old rate for a year. I believe you can prepay upto 12 - 18 months depending of the provider.

  • When the 10% off offer was on last time (June 2022) I had success in visiting Coles stores in poorer suburbs to find cards. The had plenty of $250 card stock after almost a week.

    • -4

Yeah but you get robbed or stabbed on your way out.

    • +1

      U mean toorak ?

  • +1

Should limit it to 5 per flybuys account, just to make it a tiny bit harder for people to game the system.

    • +1

Then people would not use the FB account unless the discount is in FB points. The pros have several FB accounts too.

      • Yes that's why I said a little harder… Discount would be a one use flybuys barcode/coupon.

But not sure I'm understanding what you're saying exactly

        • Yes, I agree it would be a little harder, but people find ways around restrictions. Certainly, we do a lot of that here.

    • how about we don't have these types of offers published on ozb? but then you and many ppl won't know about it, so more will be available. Can't win.

      • +1

Its a game, always a winner and loser.

        • +1

Everyone can have a participation award.

    • Kardinya Coles manager put up her own rule. She said it is 5 per person per promotion, we will not sell any to you when you come back later or other days.

With the stopping of double dipping and managers put up their own rules, there might be more people getting the promotion.

      • +2

The manager acted like she was an episode of "Border Security" acting all customs like. People just want to get a good deal and move on.

        • +1

I dont understand, What is their F&^%$#@ problems, especially those OLD Grumpy Women… Piss Of S&T

    • Yup 100%

  • such a pain to check the balance of the card. I keep getting errors and try again later

    • Try a different browser.

      • Tried all suggestions but still got same error

    • There's a country selection somewhere (top right IIRC) you need to change it to Australia or it won't work.

  • I finally got through to a Coles, she mentioned even this morning lining up.

They will be restocking, but she couldn't tell me when unfortunately.

She complained about people too, I wouldn't be surprised if they lock to Flybuys.

You abuse a system, generally they close the loop holes.

  • They are selling like hot cakes. Was able to get 5 of these as staff said 5 is the limit.
    Is this true?

    • Its maximum of 5 per customer although some comments says they’re able go get more than that. I guess it depends on the staff.

      • If we scan Flybuys card, will they know that we purchased 5 cards already?

        • No

        • +1

          The Flybuys police, will!

  • +3

The queue at the service desk at North Sydney Coles for these Mastercards was like an OZB meetup this morning.

  • Would I be able to pay my credit card balance with them? Has anyone figured it out?

    • +2

You cannot pay a cc with a cc.

    • +1

I'm trying to work out how to pay my mortgages lol.

  • Can I use this these coles mastercard to buy another coles mastercard?

    • No longer possible.

      • I think you can still do that, I was at customer service desk to see if they some under the draw and saw employee got 5 $250 paying gift card with gift card… what a beautiful world, coles should prohibit employee from participating or at least prevent employee from laundering themselves.

        • System doesn’t allow. I tried at 4 Coles yesterday.

          • @R n b: Probably not from self checkout, what I saw was coles lady doing in their terminal.

            • @Jugg.Judy: Yeah, can be done, but not meant to. They just have to hit the button to override it.

I used a Coles Egift card (from velocity points) to buy a gift card. The girl said no, but I said this a velocity gift card, and just try pushing the over ride button. "Oh it worked" she says!

              • @tunzafun001: I have had that happen many times. I think they tell the staff that, so they stop people.

  • +2

Bought from Parabanks SA and converted them to Wish gift cards soon after (not risking the card being compromised).

    • +1

I was thinking of doing that but I have so many coles and woolies cards and I really don't spend much there. So I prepaid my tax to the ATO haha.

    • +2

Shopback Superswap can be good too, for extra 2% cashback on top.

      • +1

        thanks for the tip

  • +1

Heaps of stock of both at Cleveland QLD 4163. At least 60 x 250s.

  • Coles Findon SA have 20x $250 left as of right now

  • Purchased Shopback Superswaps successfully within 5 minutes of checking-out (to avoid hack).

  • Thanks OP,, end up getting 100.00 value cards.. no more 250s

    • +1

If you have HSBC debit card, you could get 2% cash back too, ending you up 7% disc in total

  • Hi Guys, can we use these multiple cards on apple website to get the new ipad pro?
I have been to the payment page but looks like can key one mastercard cc only. Or I need go to the store physically to redeem these all cards?
As there is a chance the hacker will use it so I plan to get it and redeem in 10 minutes after from the Coles.

    • Have to do it at a physical store

    • +1

try buying apple gc and then you can add bal frome apple gc to your apple account and purchase both hard and software

  • Can this be added to Revolt?

    • No.

  • +1

Since I can't purchase more using the prepaid Mastercards through the self service checkouts. If anyone is looking for lots of $250's try Sandringham Coles 😉 Lots n lots on the shelf ready for you!!!

Also try Coles Hampton on Bluff road, last time both stores had plenty on the shelf… 50+ of the $250's at both stores!
