@maverick1, yeah that's what I thought. They said because it's a third party card, they don't have anything to do with it, they just sell it (really?), blah blah. Which I thought was just bad customer service. Too tired to argue, thought I'd try calling the vendor first and see if I can get a replacement. If not, definitely going back to Coles.
Oh, and when I called the vendor earlier. They asked for the card number which I didn't want to do because I'll need to open the packet. Was worried after I open it, then they tell me to go back to Coles. And Coles say "why did you open the pack? now we can't prove you haven't used it or already got a refund through the vendor"
Will call them again and report back
