Was contemplating buying the Seagate 3TB from Amazon but Seagate drives do not have valid warranty in Australia however WD drives are eligible for out of region warranty.

I was @ local ow store to get a pen drive and saw this buffalo 3tb hard drive for $139. Guy working there told me it was $219 yesterday and he can't confirm how long that price wi last.
Here's a nice deal which will probably be better than any Boxing Day sales for HDDs. Seems like it's the normal price of $148 with an unadvertised 20% discount, bringing it down to $118.40.
IT Estate has the 3TB green and red for $135 and $183 respectively.
Good if you can pick up from their store in North Rocks. Not sure how much is shipping to other states.
I managed to get this Seagate 3TB 3.0USB hard drive for $125 at JB Hi-Fi. Have uploaded the receipt if anyone else wants to try their luck (note: receipt is for TWO HDD). Marked price of $179.
