Was contemplating buying the Seagate 3TB from Amazon but Seagate drives do not have valid warranty in Australia however WD drives are eligible for out of region warranty.

From my experience, Seagate give you a address to send to in Australia when claim the warranty.
WD will ask you to post the drive to singapore which will cost more $$$
