      Just chop the cable

  • This is old version. I prefer newer version where thumb button is removable but also extend.

  • Bought one scroll wheel is shit house always rolling back to previous selections etc when doing Minecraft etc ..

You know you can engage the ratchet on the scroll wheel right?

      • That's how I use it normally dude… Who wants free spinning

    • The first mouse I bought had an unbalanced wheel, so I returned to the retailer, got replaced and used fine since 2017

Unbalanced metal wheel is heavy and tend to roll back.

Have used this mouse for 10 years. Still going strong. Gripped areas starting to thin out but not a major issue. Great price !

    • This mouse is not the same as the one you bought 10 years ago. I bought 4 over the last decade, and every newer one was worse made than the last.

  • Not a bad mouse but the scroll is so loud, I am comparing it to my mx3 thought

  • I trashed my Razer Viper and Death Adder. My G502 is still going strong.

  • is this a good upgrade from G304 ? mine still working after 3-4 years

Sometimes we buy things because we can, not because we need them. Are you unhappy with your current mouse?

    • I had a G304 and using a G502 now, this is definitely an upgrade over the G304 with the extra buttons.

  • Have one, has the double click issue replaced switches and it still happens, only temporary fix I do is bang the mouse on the table and the issue goes away for a few days. If only the 502x was this price. They still hover at around $80.

My original G502 is still going strong after 10+ years of daily use.

I have this mouse and (profanity) LOVE IT.

*Firstly it has tonnes of buttons in places I can reach! Most of them accessible via thumb, fore finger and middle finger… I hated my previous mouse which had buttons on my pinky…
*The size is middle to larger, so my hand sit comfortably without cramping.
*I'm surprised I love the 4 way scrolling on the mouse wheel, I actually retired a mouse quickly that had 4 way scrolling, but that one didn't have a ratchet on the scroll and was too soft.
*Being able to adjust the internal weights to balance and weigh the mouse as like is a lovely touch.
