Man when reddit says EPOMAKER sucks, I should’ve listened to them. From QC issues to customer support. Lucky I bought off Amazon.

Bought one a few weeks ago. Some keys not functioning, wireless dropout issues.

Returned it and bought a different model. Whole row of keys didn’t work. Spent hours testing it with software and different switches. No luck.

Defs never buying another EPOMAKER keyboard.
I’d rather spend the extra bit of money on a Keychron/Nuphy

    • Got 2 Ajazz keyboards: AK820 Pro and AKP846. Both have been working fine for 3 months and 1.5 month respectively.

Amazon would allow you to return without a fuss anyway and it sounds like a QC issue which happens to every so often. Even stuff like highend phone like my Pixel 9 Pro Fold also got faulty screen and I had to exchange 2 phones to get the third one working fine (touch woods).

    • Just to remind you that you can neg if you had an issue with the product or retailer

Thanks, you reminded me of my old epomaker that failed after about a year.

    • AFAIK Epomaker is a distributor of keyboards, but they also tend to put their name on it so they look like a manufacturer.

I've seen a lot of QC issues pop on relating to epomaker keyboards on reddit and elsewhere. I always take this with a grain of salt because you never know how representative the sample of unhappy reviewers are.

However, despite how good a keyboard may look, I've personally stayed away from epomaker because you can't be sure which OEM is behind any specific keyboard (unless you find the same one with a different brand) and what quality and quality control a particular board will have.

    • Bought the EPOMAKER TH80 Pro V2

within a week it 'died' - I am/was 90% sure there was over 50% charge on it when it happened but would no longer switch on.
left it on charge overnight…. nothing…so started an amazon return inititally
magically a day later it came back to life, but then the wireless dropout issues started along with input delay
      now returned

  • Might be cheaper buying directly from EPOMAKER store on Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008057264577.html. It's $164.99 for new customers and bundle with these codes OZAF12, AUNY18 or AFAU12 via here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/889500 will effectively bring it down to $146.99.

      plus shipping of $14.51 ?

      • Oh dang I thought they offered free shipping for item like that. Ah well, better buy from OP's link on Amazon for now then :)

  • didn't expect this to be qmk/via compatible, but it is. Should add it into the description/title as it's a major selling point for mechanical keyboards these days.

    • It is likely to be VIA, but that is much simpler.
Just because they claim QMK doesn't mean it is.
QMK requires them to publish all the source so that someone can rebuild the firmware as it is shipped on the device.
There source is not on qmk firmware site for the Galaxy100, I couldn't find it anywhere online so I doubt its published.

I bought another keyboard claiming QMK and they didn't publish all the source correctly, they only published a simplified source that didnt support Bluetooth or Wireless. This made that producer in breach of QMK license but it doesn't stop them claiming it its QMK.
