I think you are only missing the $100 evoucher code pre-purchased for $20.

The "800 odd' I think they meant just the phone. Not the total invoice (phone + accessories)
the "800 add" could be taking into consideration after returning the earbuds, traded-in a higher value phone etc…

As for me, the invoice for my Phone alone was $977.

if you minus the cancel of earbuds $977-$170=$807. My was the cheaper earbuds.

if you add the Asurion late/admin fees for not sending the phone (idk some ppl say $60, others dispute the amount, i will put $60 as an example), $20 evoucher cost, $1 deposit = $807+60+20+1

          =$888

If you intend to claim back GST, I "think" its $91.. excluding the earbuds, since that portion was returned.

          =$888 - $91

          = $797 S25 Ultra 512G

          • @Sydney11: How did you get phone for 977

          • @Sydney11: When you cancel the earbuds, you would deduct 170 from the earbuds paid. So 170 - 170 = $0. Your phone is still $977. Then you add on all those Aurison cost and $20 voucher paid. Effective phone cost would be roughly $1,060.

          • @Sydney11: i don't think cancelling ecosystem items will reduce further. we paid for those in our order just get the refund.

    • Same. I think it's with $20 limited voucher (which I missed) and decent trade-in value. With $1 (or $10) trade-in, the total sits around ~$12-1300. (That's the best I could get the total down to for S25 Ultra 256GB, still looking for ways to get it even lower)

    • +5

You can't get it for 800
Some people are silly and are including the trade in value of their relatively new phone to make it look like they paid less.

      • Only way i can think of is a decent trade in. Ive tried with westpac and edu, Phone and pc same price range.

        • Last time i checked it was just over 1100 for 256gb s25u and just over 900 for 256gb s25 plus.

      • +1

I bought S25U 256GB for $859, plus Buds 3 Pro for $239 with trade in value of $10 for Galaxy Watch 4 plus.
Will return Buds 3 Pro for refund after the order is delivered.

      • -4

That's not true. If I include the trade-in value of my S24U 256GB I can get the S25U 256GB for $168 or the S25U 512GB for $328 (if you exclude the cost of the buds at $179 - probably have to sell them for $120 though).

        • I have no idea what the point of your comment is.
Yes, if you take into account trade in value of your very recent flagship phone, you will obviously pay less in cash.
Trade in value, except for bonus trade in value, is not a discount if you haven't realised already

          • -2

@dji1111111: You are still wrong! Spend some time figuring it out, instead of being passive aggressive and wrong.

$168 out of pocket + $740 Asurion trade in value is $908. That's literally the price being paid for the S25U 256GB. And if you got $950 from Mobile Monster for your trade in (up until yesterday), the final price out of pocket is lower than $800 I believe

The phone isn't $908 + the value of your trade-in. It's $168 + the value of your trade-in. Is that clear enough?

            • +2

@dubo1981: Correct me if I'm wrong, but the amount of ~$900 total paid is assuming you are able to refund $200 accesories, right? Lowest that I need to pay is ~$1.1k(which is for for S25U + $200 worth of accesories. The only way I can get close to your value is if I'm able to refund the accessories, which doesn't seems to work anymore from previous comment.

              • -1

@yummypinacolada: Yes, I am excluding buds from the calcs (but inc the screen protectors I'll keep).

If the buds are unable to be refunded, I'll sell the buds on eBay like I did last year. That reduces the value of them from $179 to about $120.

            • -1

@dubo1981: How can I be wrong? Please state how to get S25 Ultra for around $800.

LOL passive aggressive? sounds like you are just upset your maths is wonky.

Firstly, your claim of buying the buds 3 and the anti-reflective film doesn't even stack up because the two items add to $198.50, which means the GALAXY2025 code will not work.

Without the $100 voucher, the lowest price possible with $1 trade in and $400 trade in bonus and $200 offset for accessories:

              S25 Ultra 256GB $ 968.20
              Buds 3 $ 179.40
              Silicone Case $ 24.50
              Total $1,172.10

Even if you were able to return the accessories get a refund, It is still $968.20 for the phone. ($80 less if you have the $100 voucher but it's safe to assume that there are none out there now)

I think you are the one that needs to sit down and really look at your maths because it is completely wrong.

How can the total cost of the phone be $168 (payable after deducting $740 for your S24U) plus the $740 trade in value?

The total cost is $168 plus the market value of S24U you are trading in.

You are trading in the phone at crap value, if you disregard the bonus trade-in amount, which you can access anyway without trading in your S24U.

              Assuming it's worth $900 on ebay/facebook marketplace, you are really paying $168+$900 = $1,068.

Valuing the phone is not an accurate science but I can guarantee you will get more for that phone compared to what Asurion is offering.

Even if your maths was correct, which it isn't, it is $908, which is not $800ish so I think you are fighting a losing battle here.

You might as well say you got a $30k Toyota Corolla for $1000 and boast about it after trading in a BMW worth $50k in secondhand market.

That is pretty much your maths in a nutshell.

              • -2

@dji1111111: Cool story bro. What a poor bitter person spending far too long to rant and add their dodgy maths.

I got the S24U last year and was $200 odd dollars out of pocket (with a $1 trade in and some mad skills), and this year I got the S25U for around $200 out of pocket ($168 if I can return buds). That's fact. You tell yourself whatever fairytale you want on what it's imaginary 'worth' is.

And I got 2x screen protectors genius ;-D

                • @dubo1981: wow… you need to re-do your maths.. haha
No point trying to educate someone who can't handle simple maths.

    • I just can't figure out how all the users are getting $1 trade
The best I can do is $30

      • +2

choose an old phone like iphone 8 and then tick screen is broken. Will end up been $1

        • Oo damn, I bit the bullet. Thanks for the info

        • How do you get the imei if you dont have the phone? I tried using imei from google images for samsung s8 but it says "imei/Serial no cannot be the same"

        • Will you actually send the iphone 8? Says if I dont send the trade-in phone or send a different model that I claim, Will they just charge me $60 for late return?

  • I am being told in the chat we can't stack the $150 with the $400 code. Is that true ?

    • +2

We can stack it. $150 applies automatically when you add trade-in and $400 with voucher.

      • +1

Not seeing the automatic $150 teade in bonus?

        Where does it show?

        Is it in "additional savings*

        • +1

Yes, the calculation will be in additional savings but you can see the message on top of the trade-in in Blue color saying "$150 Trade-In bonus applies"

          • @exclusiveJeet: And you can see in the blue text while ordering what kind of bonuses are applied to your order, If you don't see a $150 trade-in bonus in blue, then try again.

        • There are two listings of the same phone on the education store in the Samsung Shop app. Make sure you click on "(Samsung.com only)"

          • @harryaus: Could it be that the 150 trade in is only for Education store?

Normal store and other EPP stores dont show it?

  • +5

Stop spamming requesting for codes. It's already on the top page in bold that there's a section for that.

  • +1

AFAIK you can stack EDU 20% off pricing with retailer/samsung staff EPP 40% code, they may have removed this however i knew someone who stacked all their offers + trade in etc and got the s24 ultra for $699.
if any of you know someone who works at a retailer who sells these phones give this a go!

    • Thanks, will ask Gerry.

  • My total order came to $1108 for an S25U with Galaxy Buds Pro 3. I used the EDU store link in the deal, plus traded in an S21U (base trade in was only $260). Stacked the $150 trade in bonus and a $400 trade in bonus from the pre-registration email. Also used the $200 voucher for the buds (needed a minimum $200 purchase which is why I went for the Pro buds) to get those for around $40. The trade in stacks do work and are automatically applied once you add the device details for the trade in.

  • Hi guys, just cancelled my order as I am staying with my 23 ultra for now. If any wants my $20/$100'voucher - happy to exchange for original price.

    • Thanks for all the responses - code has now been transferred.

    • 24U was hovering around $1700 a month ago, which proves you wrong!

    • Not true, if there was any decent deal for s24 ultra, I would buy instead of s25 ultra. You can get some trade in bonus but will never get $200 accessories voucher, $400 voucher and storage upgrade again.

      • -2

But this is a post for the S25. Not the S24.

        • -1

So? Bought s25 ultra 512 gb for $976

  • People who are facing trouble finding $150 additional trade-in bonus. There are two listings of the same phone in the education store in the Samsung Shop app. Make sure you click with something like "(Samsung.com only)"

    • But the 150 might only be an Education store deal and not in the other EPP stores?

  • +6

FYI. there is no option to cancel individual accessory any more.

    • Can't cancel but i think you may be able to return it for refund. Not sure if they have made any changes recently but i was able to do it back in the day when i got my s22u

  • S25 Ultra 512gig with Watch 7 BT 44mm and trading S20FE for $95

Your $100 Galaxy eVoucher+ has been
    applied!
    Voucher applied! $200 eVoucher
    discount.
    $150 Trade-In bonus applied.
    Voucher applied! $400 Trade-In bonus.

Total price paid for phone and watch >> $1293

    • Are you the one all OzB hacks with Samsung for them to close the loopholes haha..

  • Hi folks, I have access to corporate EPP (not education or government), and have never purchased anything from the Samsung Shop app before (have purchased previously via EPP web portal). I am not able to find a way to log in to the EPP portal on the Shop app (it only gives the options for Education and Government). Has anyone figured out how to log into the shop app using the corporate EPP access?

    • +1

      You can't.

    • How can I use the 5% discount on the first app order stacked with the corporate EPP discount then?!

      • You cant. Only edu has this option

    • I got the same issue using myunidays discount but i couldnt access the app through it…. I placed the order without thr 5% app discount unfortunately

      • Don't think it's possible with Unidays.

  • Anyone else having issues with payment on the EPP site?
I've tried different cards, logged in on different devices / browsers, cleared cache but it doesn't let me pay for the phone at the end of checkout

    • Did u try paypal?

      • Yep tried paypal as well but it seems to get stuck when it goes to load the paypal window

    • Had a lot of issues with my and my mums westpac cards. Eventually paid with macquarie debit. My westpac cards were working fine the day before

    • Managed to get it to work eventually, had to use another account with a different email address. So there wasn't actually wrong with the payment methods just something wrong with my account

  • Amazing…all the way to final payment screen via Edu store to realise I was unable to use my $150 in Samsung Rewards. No sale.

Now to get my money back from Asurion ugh.

  • +2

Mobile monster trade in for s24u plummeted from $950 to $600 over the course of 2 days. Insane. Anyone know how long before i need to drop off the phone to mobile monster? My phone doesnt ship until 13 Feb.

    • +1
      • @OZcheepsk8

how long u guys gonna wait to sell the current phone.. so prices don't drop too much more

        • I placed the order on two websites already. Will cancel later if not used just to lock in prices now. Worst case scenario ill be a week without a phone or buy a cheap one from woolies

          • @OZcheepsk8: I just placed one with mobileguru - can drop it off within 14 days in Melb (and they do a cosmetic assessment on the spot).. so that's handy. Reckon I should have the phone by then

      • Are they reliable? Have had any personal experience selling to them?

        • Read a comment yesterday saying they are great and he had used them three times. Now I can't find this comment.

      • Ace thanks. I placed an order with these guys too as a backup option

    • the s24 base is still 650 for mint, and 610 for working @ Mobile Monster

    • May I ask how does it work when you already given your IMEI and identification details to Asurion, I assume the S24U for the trade-in bonus for the new S25U pre-order, can you "sell" your phone to Mobile Monster/ Mobile guru etc…?

      • +1

I didnt use it for asurion. But yes you can still use same imei for mobile monster i suspect. Ive done it begore

  • Anyone had their samsung online exclusive colours ship early in prior years vs estimated date?

    • Negative

    • +1

Yep, mine last year (light blue) was shipped before the ETA on the 5th Feb. Closer to the date of the regular colours, than the online only colours.

      • Cheers. Good to know. Mine is on 13th and a week after the last date i need to sell my phone to mobile monster

        • I ordered Jet Black one, showing ships from 6th Feb.

    • +1

Z Fold6 last year in an exclusive colour was meant to ship 20/09…I had it by 02/09. Few weeks early

    • I remember one of the exclusive colours got delayed last time… Hopefully it doesn't happen with the jet black. My order ship from date is 06 Feb.

    • I don't think it's possible to return Samsung exclusive online products - so it might be better to get standard model instead?

      • Why would i return the phone?

        • We probably won't need to. The only reason might be if they don't allow returning the 200$ accessories it ships with. They so far have stopped allowing partial-cancels.

  • Hi guys, how to get Additional $200 trade-in for 1TB S25 Ultra ?TIA

    • +1

Ask chat but the code only works on normal store.

    • U didnt get additional discounts with 1tb, its al the same $400 off

  • How many phones can i buy with this offer?

    • 2

      • Is this confirmed that two is the max? I've purchased two in the one order which caused the GALAXY2025 voucher and the trade-in bonuses to double, but didn't have the foresight to test if adding a third to cart would cause it to triple.

  • just try to buy another one for my friend. but galaxy2025 can only be used once. so is the $20 evoucher. and i am not getting the $150 trade-in bonus either.

I guess i will have to get another account.

    • Are you saying you entered a different $20 eVoucher to the one you entered for the first purchase and it wouldn't accept it?

    • Did u find any way to get 150$ discount?
