      • Thank you

  • I'm thinking of keeping the earbuds, might come in handy on the plane instead of the over ear bose ones I use now. are the samsung buds 3 pro any good? or should I return and get some other brand. seem to be a lot of people returning them. just want to see if they are recommended or not

    • Can't beat over ear with noise cancellation especially for flights. Ok for commuting on public transport for convenience

    • I'm planning to try them out and if they don't fit well, I'll sell them used. Reviews seem a bit mixed but depending on your fit it seems the sound and anc is decent. Battery life doesn't seem long enough to use in for flights - I think one youtuber said they got around 4.5hrs use without changing settings. Anyway it was only like $40 out of pocket so that's worth it to try out I reckon. Looking for something to replace my Sony Linkbuds S which keeps stuttering when I'm just walking around in the city. Doesn't happen with my Samsung Buds Live so 🤞

    • Kept falling out of my ears, tried all the included sizes. Switch to foam tips and all good.

    • Are you still looking for a code?

    • +1

No need to ask again and in the wrong thread.

  • Hey guys, i was stressing so much because i had to cancel my order so thought i would lose 5% off but looks like even that is still available if you have canceled the 1st order. Atleast thats wats happening on mine.

  • Anyone having issues logging into the education store? Ive been struggling to get in to purchase for the past 5 hours

    • I am having at the check out on the app with EPP selected. I cant get any (fake) imei accepted. Even tried ipad mini but its not taking serial number.

      • Why not use your current phone's IMEI? You don't have to choose your actual phone. I selected s8 to trade in and gave them s7 IMEI

        • I have got a S23U and S22+. Didnt want to put original imei's for not sending the phones. Not sure if they are actually going to block phones for not sending lol

      • Are you using a proper IMEI generator? Random digits won't do because there's a checksum (well actually you'll get lucky occasionally!). Choose your make & model ! https://www.imei.info/iphone-imei-generator/

        • Yeah, random digits didnt work. I put my watch 4 with its S/no and Ipad mini 4 with some random s/no from google images. I got $15 for watch and $10 for ipad. Didn't even bother bringing them down to $1 as I was trying to checkout for past 1.5 hrs. Bought two Samsung S25 ultra's 512 giggs for $2234.21.

  • -2

Someone pls give a imei for Lowest price item pls eo i can trade in

    • +2

This was suggested above: choose a device that doesn't have IMEI like a watch or an iPad WiFi.
I selected watch -> Galaxy Watch 4 Bluetooth (no sim, so no IMEI) as a trade-in device, entered a random alphanumeric serial number, and then got my $1 trade-in code. I also ticked that it had screen issues or something like that to reduce the value.

      • This is a good tip. Although the random imei generated approach should be fine?

        • Random IMEI - sounds fine to me, if it's accepted by Asurion.

  • -1

How is everyone getting trade in for $1. I can see $10 is minimum. Also do we need to provide a IMEI number to do trade-in? Will the IMEI number gets banned if i wont send the device?

    Thank you in advance.

    • +1

At checkout you need to go through the trade in process and pick damaged screen etc and the value reduces.

    • does it matter… you'll pay $9 more on the phone to samsung vs $9 more to asurion? because of the deduction…

  • Is it "safe" to trade in one device s24u >s25u, and for the second one provide generated imei s10 imei (not return)> s25+.., in one order

    • why do u want to trade in S24u with Asurion?

you will get better value with mobile guru

      • Too much hassle? I.e., I just checked fb , there are so many s24u s23u s22u for sale out there(( not sure tho

        • u get less value with trade in. i am planning to sell to mobile guru s24U $950

          • @Aemit: Any previous experience selling to them? I am kinda keen to try, but a bit hesitating lol

            • @megaalc: haven't tried myself but review are ok

          • +1

@Aemit: Do you think mobile guru will reduce the mobile price by the time before getting the s25u delivered. In my case I'm planning to by right now and the estimated delivery is 20th of Feb?

If you're not planning on trading in a phone, it's most cost effective to bring down your trade-in value.

    • Which phone are you "trading in" ?

      • +1

I did a broken s21 to get it to $10. Some people here got it down to $1.

        • S10 gives only 300 bonus and $1 value if damaged, so i guess s21 is bettet - $400 and $10 )

          • @megaalc: 300 or 400 depends on if u select S25+ or Ultra, not what device you trade in

            • @Aemit: Yep, just checked.. you are right

    • Wow

  • I'm just checking how do I cancel Buds 3 pro? All I get now is: https://imgur.com/a/SFYHbHV

    • they fixed it today. can't do that anymore

  • +2

Thanks OP and everyone. I got 2 of the 25s ultra 256 at about $865 each after all the codes + tips

I created a ozb login just to say thanks!

    • How did you manage to get it so low? Does this include returning the accessories later on and also the Aurison no return fees for each?

  • I put in my S23 as the trade in device with all the defects getting it down to $60 trade in value. Is there an actual difference between this or a $1 trade in device after fees and everything? Or is it just where the discounts are being applied?

    • Select ipad 4 mini wifi version to tradein and look up for s/no on google images. You can bring it down to $10, plus if you select your ipad has a damaged screen, it will bring the trade-in cost to hard earned $1.

To answer your question, doesn't matter what you trade-in, the bonus applied is still $150 +$300or$400

      • I already did it but I'm just curious after the fact. If you do this, you only get $1 trade in discounted off the phone, or $60 in my case. I guess the better question to ask is

A: They keep the trade in value on the order + keep the security deposit fee + charge non return fee

B: They take away the trade in value off the order + keep security deposit fee + charge non return fee

C: They keep trade in value on the order + return the security deposit fee + charge non return fee

I couldn't have worded that worse if I tried but I hope you understand what I'm asking.

        • the security deposit Asurion charged cancels out the trade in value, so Samsung wont deduct the value further.
if u dont return device, Asurion will keep the security deposit and charge you further $60 non return fee.

          • @Aemit: Ok that makes sense. And how is the non return fee determined?

            • @OzBMate629: T n C says $60 max i think. if trade in value is less, then it could be $30

  • +1

hurry up guys! the galaxy2025 code will go down to $100 in less than 8 hours :D
for who buying more than 1, the galaxy2025 code and $300/400 code will be multiplied with the number of your s25 in the cart. Just need to add accessories to $200 once (so one pair of buds will do)

    • i can't use galaxy2025 anymore, i think it can only be used for one time per user account.

    Be quick

    • A good reminder for all planning to order an S25 series phone. This is why I made sure to order tonight.

  • Cries and hodls with his S21 ultra. Legit tho, everything is perfect except for the camera focus issues. Hopefully I can keep disputing it with Samsung support until I get a sizable discount on the new phones.

    • +2

Good luck with Samsung support… you'll need it.

    • +2

Get the s25 ultra 512 gb with ear buds pro and sell the s21 ultra and the bud pro and hopefully you will not have to pay much to get an upgrade after 4 years?
I am doing and upgrade from s22+ and very intersted in winlator development and linux support for 8 elite.

  • +1

I'm looking at a $362 upgrade to go from a S23 128GB that I bought for ~$400 back in october 2023 to a S25 Ultra 256GB after fees and accessories return + selling old device. Not too bad.

  • +3

Hi everyone, firstly thanks to everyone on this page that helped gather and work out stacking all discounts etc.
I think i have found a loophole/hack, whatever you may want to call it with the GALAXY2025 code. You can use each code once, but the codes are case sensitive.

So if you have used GALAXY2025, you can use try galaxy2025 (note lowercase) and you can get the discount again and vice versa if you have already use galaxy2025, then try in caps GALAXY2025.

I tried it and it worked on mine, feel free to try and report back.

Edit: i was also able to use my second $20 for $100 evoucher as well and it worked for the full $100.

    • Can anyone confirm this?

    • +1

      Confirmed lowercase "galaxy2025" works

    • Maxium 3 codes can be used, if you are using $400 Trade-in code + $20 code + GALAXY2025, and you could not use any other code. Correct me if I am wrong

  • +1

The best offer so far through Westpac Offer (I think).

Use the below link (by creating a new Samsung account and getting further 5% off):

    https://www.samsung.com/au/multistore/westpac_offers_au/

Trade in an S8 for $1 and use Revolt disposable card for Asurion 'champs'

    In short:
    S25 ultra 256gb: $1719
    Watch 7 LTE 44: $419

    Discounts:
    -$150
    -$400
    -$100
    -$200 GALAXY2025
    -$64 (5% off)
    -$1 (S8 trade in value)

    Total paid: $1223

Another friend paid $1015 for just the phone following the above steps.

  • I would love to thanks this community as also i got the deal for the S25 ultra 512GB for $1128.20 deducted all the trade etc. under Samsung edu portal.

NOTE: Remember that the $200 eVoucher for accessories is valid until 5AM 26/1.

  • Question thinking about cancelling order which I have already made and not trading in my s23 to either gift it or resell to someone else instead. If I have already gone through the trade with Asurion and deposited $390 as the trade in value security deposit, what happens now if I then cancel my order with Samsung will Asurion return this fee or is it too late?

Also can I reuse my 20>100 evoucher once the order is cancelled? Someone suggested above possibly duplicating it anyways using lower case instead?

    • You had 390 deducted from the cost of the phone. Youll have paid a fee of 390 to asurion netting you off at 0. Then they will charge you an admin fee of $60. Not losing out by much, $30 loss tops imo

      • Yeh but I have paid Asurion the $390 already and have paid Samsung the net difference. If I cancel now won't Samsung just refund what I paid them only, my question is will Asurion also refund that amount? Ie will I even get my trade in value back if I cancel now?

        • But why cancel? Whats your objective?

          • @OZcheepsk8: Trading in something for $1 instead so I don't lose the $390 deposit if I don't actually intend to trade in any more.

            • @buyerbee: But that'll mean paying that amount to Samsung instead. If you were going to keep the phone why go through the hassle?

              • @paisedo: Oh sorry you're both right I've been conceptualising it wrongly. Forgot I've already saved on the trade in reduction itself so no point to cancel then, my bad. Silly me. For some reason got it into my head I should redo the order. Was considering redoing it with a tablet accessory though too instead shrug.

                • @buyerbee: No worries mate. This entire process can be a bit too much.

  • Finally placed my order with all discount codes:
    20% edu store
    $400 trade-in code
    $150 auto applied for trade-in
    $1 trade-in phone
    $100 code for $20
    $200 GALAXY2025
    5% off first app purchase

Total charged to card on checkout: $1483.71

    S25 Ultra 1TB + $202.92 worth of accessories

Seems like the shipping now forecasted to 13th Feb, was previously 6th Feb. Hope it arrives earlier.

    • Mine is showing 20th of feb since I ordered the jet black. Hopefully they do ship earlier.

      • +2

Think it as a popular colour. Mine is on 13th. People who ordered earlier are saying the 6th on theirs

        • Yeah seems like it is the most popular. Maybe should've locked the jade green for the faster delivery lol. Should only be an extra week or two.

          • @rlytoasti: Yea jet black was showing shipping date of 20th of feb when i was checking out my order yesterday around 6.30pm.

The other black, white and grey were 6th of feb and the rest were 13th of feb.

      • I ordered jet black too on 23rd Jan at 9pm.
Mine showing shipping shipping from 6th Feb.

  • Is the $150 trade in bonus expired now? Can't see it apply in cart.

    • +1

$150 trade in bonus offer ends 14 Feb. I believe it's only on Edu/EPP store, not the main store.

      • Ah, you're right. Somehow ended up on the main store. Thanks!

  • Just put through an order. Now the ship date is 20 Feb.

    • Jet black colour?

  • +1

Not sure how this worked but by trading in two phones and buying two S25 it felt like a deal

    $1035 for
    - 2x s25
    - 2x screen protectors
    - 2x cases
    - Galaxy buds pro

    • traded in an S22 $245 and s20 5g for $105
  • Missed that - thought I had a whole day

  • Is the GALAXY2025 code still working? Or expired?

    • +2

Working but value reduced to $100

  • +2

GALAXY2025 code reduced to $100 in my cart now. Thought i had more time, ah well.

    • +2

      You snooze you loose.

      • Haha, yeah….didn't have access to education site till half hour ago. Got the other benefits now though.

        • It's still a great deal mate. I missed out on the $20/$100 voucher.

          • @bataleon: Did manage to get that one!

            • @Redhawkz: We're even then 😁
I say for for it, unless your current phone will last another year. I felt it was time to let my S20FE go.

  • did anyone experience this ?
"I understand you want to cancel your Galaxy Buds 3. Unfortunately, you cannot cancel your order because you used a promotional e-voucher for your purchase."
How do I cancel then please ?

    • +3

Wait for order to be delivered, you can then create a return and send the Buds 3 Pro back for a refund.Thats what everyone will do as Samsung closed this loophole for cancellation of individual items in the order.

      • +1

They might have closed the loophole for returns as well so things bought as a bundle deal may need to returned as a bundle. In this case, you got 30% off accessories and use of code. I havent read the t&c this time because i sont need tocsend anything back but they have previously had it for some deals.

        • +1

Still worth a deal even if we have to keep the accessories
