@TheCunningLinguist: Thanks for the update. I just realised that my inbox is full so it probably bounced back…
[Pre Order] 20% off Samsung Galaxy S25 Range + Bonus Discounts: e.g. $150 Trade-in @ Samsung Edu & EPP Stores » All Comments
Every time I go to the Samsung Shop App, it keeps crashing on me.
I dont have a EPP or EDU emails so the apps seems cheaper because it offers and extra 5% discount.
What is the order of doing this? to get a S25u 512GB, I have a members $400 trade in code, standard Galaxy2025, a $100 (-20) I bought and have the code and I want to trade in my galaxy s10 which says $90.
Do I just add the handset to my cart and then add the codes and then do the trade in? or Do the trade in then add the codes? and where do we add the codes?
Doing this on my S10 so the screen is like tiny and Im a bit lost on why we need to buy things like ear buds and stuff. Is that so it plays with the $200 eco toys and once in we can remove them to bring the price down?
Anyhow the the Samsung Shop app is quite small and seems to crash, any reason or logical order to this I would appreciate as its becoming exhausting for me. Cheers!
My Shop app was playing up too so I had to clear the cache and data from app info.
You need $200 worth of accessories/ecosystem products in your cart for the GALAXY2025 code to work. Add one item you don't want to cancel later first, as the first item gets linked to the phone for some reason. Then add the phone, other accessories, and finally, the vouchers (maximum three vouchers per order). I added the screen protector first, then a case, the phone, and lastly a Watch 7, which I later canceled.
After the order is confirmed, you can cancel any unwanted accessories except the top one to get that money back. I'm unsure if it will be a refund or how it works… my order total has been adjusted (honoring all vouchers), but the full payment is showing as pending on my credit card.
Yes, though accessory returns aren't guaranteed it seems this year. Better chance of return if you order at least 2 or possibly 3 accessories people are saying but still not confirmed to even successfully work at all yet.
Did they change the trade in Device to one ? I was going throw iphone13 pro max to sammy with my ultra 24 lol
Hi , please if someone can help , whats the best way to get the trade in discount however I don't plan to send the phone in, how much will I get charged if I say during the trade in that my phone is broken and the price drops to trade in to $1 , if any one can tell me how much will I be charged for not sending the phone for trade in ?
Someone said above that they will deduct $30.
Late return fees for not sending the trade-in device is $60 which is mentioned in T&C of Trade-in policy.
Late return fee is different from not sending back at all. It says if you don't return it, you may be charged a fee under 7.3, however the only thing 7.3 says is you'll be charged if you return it late.
It is $30 if the trade in value is $1 or $5, not sure about $10.
@bohn: From experience.
I trade in an $1 item every year for S23 and S24U and did not return it to them and was charge $30 each time
@Section2: yeah, someone said it changed from July 2024… so it won't be the same as previous years.
from what I can see in the terms and conditions, there is only a fee if you return the handset LATE, not for not returning at all.
in this would be the play …. if or even if you didnt have a device to trade…
dont send in your phone - sell it on marketplace/ebay (would fetch better price) / if you dont have a device you just need an imei/serial number$150 trade in bonus
put through a $1-$10 item (will get charged)
u may lose $30-60 with not being returned…
still come out $100 on top with the bonus + whatever you sold ur device for
so is it $1 + $30 or will they charge me $150 + $400 on top for not returning the trade in phone?
If u worked out trade in value down to $1, then it should be $1+ $30 or $60 fees for not returning the device
Just ordered the S25 Ultra 512, case and galaxy 7 watch all for $1300.
Not bad at allis that with trade in?
no trade in.
20% edu
$10 trade in on a phone that i wont send to them
$150 trade in bonus
$400 trade in bonus
$100 voucher that i bought for $20
5% app discount
$200 accessories voucher GALAXY2025ahh ok plus $60 for not sending phone in.
About the 5% of using the Shop app for the first time, in which stage the discount will appear, before getting to checkout or at the last step where the payment is, thanks.
@Bargains hunterr: I didn’t get the 5% discount the first time because I used my personal account and just switched to the Edu account. Later, I logged out of my personal account, signed up using the new Edu account, and the 5% discount was displayed. Hope that helps
Sweet as, got the S25 Ultra 256, case and film for $373.
Traded in my iPhone 14 Pro. Finally transitioning from Apple! :OAnyway to get the $20 voucher? Or is that gone?
Is the invoice from Samsung or Samsung education store?
Samsung
It's Samsung Electronics Australia. No mention of education on the invoice, or the edu email address you may have used
cancelling the extra accessory doesnt work for me, it says "something went wrong and call customer service". anybody else tried?
same for me. will try to return it after I get it. Or worst case scenario, sell it in marketplace.
I tried the chat as well. They wont do it as ots an "add ipup" to the phone
How do you try and cancel the accessory separately?
Click cancel order in your orders list, and then select individual items that you want to cancel. Some were able to cancel but others not. You may be able to cancel accessories if you added more than 1.
Sorry, I'm a bit confused here, can someone please assist and let me know what is the best price for a standard S25?
All of these vouchers are confusing!
TIA!
Edu: s25 256 GB: $1179
-$100 (upsized $20 voucher)
-$300 from the chat (only applicable when you tradie in something)
-$150 (trade in bonus)
5% off from the samsung app
Total ~$600also GALAXY2025 code - free $200 worth of accessories in the deal description
Looks like I missed that
Thank you.
Where do you get the 150 trade in bonus?
I've got the $300 one from the chat however they said this is the same voucher as the $150 one (which is the value if there is no trade in)
its automatically applied to the price, doesnt show any coupons
Did they remove the option to use reward points as part of payment?
i thought so too but may be can not be used for preorder
Yes, can only use in the normal store.
for those who try the shared code, keep in mind that before you actually make the payment (last step), someone could use it before you, so the code will be removed and you could be charged more! double check the total before you hit "pay"
Did anyone received the refund for cancelling extra accessories after ordering ?
Nope you won't. Takes ages for the refund. The rest of your order needs to be delivered from memory. Same thing happened last year
Good to know! No need to rush it.
Refund will be processed when your order is delivered.
Ultra 512GB
Using Westpac offer(15%) + extra on 5% first Samsung order:GALAXY25 voucher - Buds and Case cost: $218 (+ $200 evoucher)
Trade in - Iphone 14 Max - Trade in value of $645 (+ $400 dollar trade in bonus)
$20 for 100 voucher - cost: $20 (+$100 voucher)Final price for phone + buds + case: $558.60 + $20: $578.60
Final value including trade in: $578.60 + $645: $1223.60
Westpac is currently same price as Op post (20%), for this S25 preorder, albeit it’s saying 15% on top, btw. And yes, still 5% extra similar to app shop
Oh sweet, I didnt do the % math so I didnt even realise.
The only catch is that other accessories not directly S25 related are not as cheap as Edu/Gov.
@CVonC: SmartTag2, power adapters, cables, wireless chargers, buds cases, bundles, non S25 series cases, etc.
Hey guys ,
Jist needed a advice.
Is it good to get the samsung care or na.
I was researching and samsung care seems to be terrible? I bought a s25 ultra and thinking if i should just add the care plan this time.have you ever dropped your phone?
depends how careful u are/and if you have a decent milspec case…
or if u want the peace of mind…No, never used it when it was free in previous years.
I would personally never deal with Asurion any more then I need to.
same here
It's good to have in case of accident happens. Also good if you want to sell later in a good condition then just swap for a new device and sell.
I had already ordered so talked with chat today to add the insurance. They said they cant do it anymore and also said i cant cancel my bud 3 pro as it is Bundled. They can cancel my order and I can re do it but I will loose my 5% from the app.
I got it for 2 years in my last upgrade to S23 Ultra. Thankfully never needed to use it for my S23 Ultra. But in the past had dropped my Samsung phone down concrete stairs and it would have been great to have it then.
If you can afford it, I would get it.
Is the screen protection accessory any good? Any issues with fingerprint recognition?
The Samsung screen protectors are very good, unlike cheaper ones that easily get scratched. There is no problem with fingerprint recognition. I bought them with my S24 Ultra last year.
Is it 9H hardness or better?, they didn't clarify and I was assuming it was just anti glare/fingerprint screen protector.
It's still a film, not glass, I'll personally keep one as spare but still go down the Spigen route for the case and tempered glass screen protector
did any one order this morning? my paypal payment came through but got nothing from samsung
Thanks for posting and to everyone for all the advice. Got S25U 512gb down to $801.99 (plus $139.50 for the Care+) using S22U trade in, the $100 voucher, and 5% discount on shop app. Didn't bother with the GALAXY2025 because I've already got buds and a watch and can't be bothered trying to sell/return.
You could have gotten FREE buds and just given them away
When I was playing around with it, it wasn't free, more like $50 difference so I was like "meh". Woulda been a good deal on the buds no doubt
The buds 3 was definitely sub 200 and that wouldve been free. You only needed to spend min 200 and get the 200 galaxy2025 discount.
@ozchobie: I just went back in the app and did the math, it would have come to $838ish after all discounts. In hindsight I probably should've to have a spare set of buds…ah well
May I know how u got it for 801$ maximum people got it for 900$ after trade in device.?
After all the coupons I could get was for 930$ can u share how u got it for 801$
$1879.20 (edu/gov price)
minus: $385 (S22U trade in value), $400 (trade in bonus), $150 (trade in bonus), $100 (evoucher)
Equals $844.20. Then 5% voucher…$844.20 minus $42.21 equals $801.99
Can anyone confirm how to get the extra $200 discount? Not the GALAXY2025 one which I think everyone is confused with.
Not the GALAXY2025 one which I think everyone is confused with.
There is a $200 code that only works with S25 Ultra 1tb. It is in Samsung Members App under benefit.
I thought I saw someone list out their codes and there's a $200 discount but can't seem to find it now. This morning saw another comment in this post from Manu28
its a unique code you can get from Samsung Members app > benefits, however you can only stack 3 codes.
Also, when you stack the $400 tradein coupon with that, it won't allow it in the EPP/EDU store.Yeh Samsung just told me can't use it if trading in.
Manu28 12 hours 54 min ago
I got the S25 Ultra (512 GB) for $239 + $20
I got the education portal discount
$400 discount voucher from chat
$20 coupon that gives you $100 off
$790 trade in discount from my S24 Ultra 512 GB
$200 Discount codeSo you're saying this guys wrong? cause without the $200 its $439 which is right for the s24 trade in
Thinking of cancelling order and keeping my s23u. Any thoughts ?
It's entirely possible.
I have a s23 ultra and I think the voucher combo, accessories, trade in bonus is a good enough boost to switch.
For me the equation is $715 for the upgrade and this is after all discounts and bonuses:-
S25U 512GB
GALAXY buds 3
Rugged caseThe upgrade cost me $260 from S23 Ultra, which was a no brainer given a battery replacement would run minimum $100
How $260? Was it a 1TB?
Umm I would. My S23 Ultra 512gb is working perfectly so there's no way I'm trading that in. I really like my current phone.
Don't buy if you don't need, i.e. if your current phone is working fine.
People who cannot retire early due to still having a mortgage are often bad with money and after the next best thing to keep up with the Jones.
Better financially to put it in ETFs, especially if you're young.
In a few years, that $300 in etfs instead of new phone would be worth a lot more.
tried to cancel the buds pro (i had only 1 accessory in cart silly me) but when i tried contacting support they said they cant do partial cancellation. do I redo the order or just wait for buds pro to arrive and then do a return? assuming Samsung will accept the return
If you re-do the entire process, you will not be able to re-use the coupon, unless you have extra $400 off trade-in coupon & $100 e-voucher and re-do it using other email because you cannot re-use the GALAXY2025 code as well I believe. Just accept the delivery and return it or sell it.
I cancelled my pre-order twice yesterday (kept finding new discounts) and shortly after the confirmation I was able to reuse the vouchers/coupon codes :)
Just get it delivered, then return it for free as long as you dont break the seal on the pacakging. The bundled accessories cancellation is causing a few issues for some.
Just wondering if we're supposed to get an email confirmation of the order once placed? It only sowed under 'my order' tab in my samsung account but never gotten an email about it.
Takes a couple of hours
I don't even get an order number. Took me hours with the chat support now to find out what's happening
Want a code? Have a code to give away? Please go to Samsung Galaxy Code Request megathread.. No requests in comments please.
Everyone can get the $400 and $200 codes in the Samsung Members app.
I can’t see the benefit tab in the app
not without a samsung phone you can't
the $200 code on the members app just turns out to be $400.
This needs to be shared more!
It took me ages to work out how to get the $400 voucher! Thank you!
Why is the expiry set to 26 Jan? Isn't it 13 Feb?
$20 evoucher goes back to $20 on 26th 5am
GALAXY2025 $200 goes down to $100 on 26th 5am$20 voucher goes back to $20 on 14th Feb
My Order is currently awaiting Dispatch!
I will be glued to that page for the next week!!Was able to cancel buds pro3 in my order, but i also had the antiglare film and magnet case in my shopping cart. Ended up with an excellent deal 👌
Did you cancel it today? I am unable to cancel my Buds3 from the order. I also have a case which I don't want to cancel.
How did you cancel it mate? I just have option to cancel the whole order. I have 3 accessories and the bud 3 pro is the last one but no option to cancel.
Anyone had any luck getting any of the codes to discount the accessory rather then the phone itself?
When I ordered very early on this morning, s25 256gb in blue/navy is out of stock at the EPP store. Anyone noticed?
Nope, just tested & mine still says there's stock for silverblue (256gb)
edit: Just realised you were just talking about the s25, not the ultra.Yep, black and Navy are out of stock since morning for S25 256
I replaced the S25U with regular S25 in the cart and now the $150 trade-in and $400 coupons are gone and when I re-add it, it says it's already been used in another order! But I never checked out! Any idea how to fix this?
I had similar, so I emptied my entire cart, closed out and went back in which seemed to fix it.
I tried emptying my cart and killed the Samsung Shop app but it's not fixed. What do you mean by "closed out"?
Did you managed to get it working? I'm having the same problem as well. The $150 trade in bonus is not showing up. I'm trading in an old S10
Have tried to clear the cart and login via Westpac portal again, but run into the same problem. The $150 trade in bonus is still not showing.I meant I logged out and exited the app.
Add the s25u again and you can probaby see the voucher auto applied. Cancel the voucher or you can wait few hours until the cart resets.
Also fyi, the $150 is $100, and $400 is $300, if you're not buying the Ultra. Just so you don't get confused trying to find it.
Is $210 worth extra for Ultra from Plus? (Deciding for mom and future selling value)
Absolutely! The S24U is already selling for $200 more than the S24+ on Mobile Monster
Definitely. It’s either you want a small phone or a big phone. Wouldnt even consider the plus if i was looking to get a bigger phone. With the extra discounts on getting the ultra, it’s a no brainer.
I went with the base model this year as this is just a spare phone for me and i had to return my flip 6 for faults. Otherwise, ultra is the way to go for me if it was my main phone. Better display, better cameras, better battery, better charging, better durability, better resale value etc for minimal price difference to plus.
Has anyone here ordered 2 phones in the same order and tried to workout the breakdown in discount? It seems alot more confusing
The Samsung Shop app seems to force me to use my default phone Samsung account and not my separate .edu account - Any way to get around this?
I can't seem to add it as another account and I tried to load the app on Bluestacks but it doesn't seem to work. ThanksSign out of your samsung account in your phones setting
You can try using the Secure Folder feature if you have access to that and that will let you use a different account rather than having to sign out of your Samsung account in your phone's settings. I was running into the same issue and this worked for me.
I ran into same problem. How do I do it? Thanks.
Use the Island app to install another Samsung Shop app on your work space (ie the island).
Thanks for all the help - I ended up discovering the app also works on iPad so doing it that way. Signing out of my Samsung account on my phone settings would wipe things so that wasn't ideal. Secure Folder was a good option too, missed that one!
I placed preorder yesterday, I want to cancel one out of the three accessories that I ordered. However, I'm yet to receive the confirmation email.
My order is in "Order accepted" status on the website, would it be safe to attempt the cancellation?Yes. Ive cancelled my accessories
How did you cancel it? In your online order or called up?
Online order. I had 3 accessories and cancelled 2
@OZcheepsk8: Oh ok, it would only let me cancel 1 accessory as I only had 2. So makes sense that I needed to keep one accessory in order.
Have you received the refund?
I paid with Paypal and it said "Paid by PayPal", but no refund via PayPal yet, and not sure when/if the refund will happen. Usually when I receive a refund via PayPal, it's pretty much immediate.
@OZcheepsk8: Bought another phone today and it does not allow the new oder to cancel any accessories. They've changed the invoice so that it cancels the whole order. Yet it let me cancel yesterday's order's accessory. :(
Went for the S25 Ultra 512gb in the jade green
I thought i was stuck having to purchase via the regular store (no EPP or EDU account), until someone mentioned Westpac.
Went through the Westpac Rewards link to Samsung (EPP pricing), i have a Westpac Choice (normal) debit account and a Low Rate Mastercard (basic Credit Card). I went via the Westpac app on my phone which sent me EPP side through the phone web browser (chrome).
If your phone is linked to your Samsung account it makes the login part easier.
Best to sort out your trade IDs first before doing your purchase, this locked my CC out of $460 worth of trade-in (for reference, S22U [365] and Note10+ [95]). I think getting stuck doing the Asurion stuff mid-purchase dropped the Westpac Offer link off the browser referral, causing me to restart the order.
S25Ultra 512gb = $540.74
Watch7 BT 40mm = $312.93
Clear Case = $18.52
Total = $872.19Discounts:
$100 evoucher ($20 – the SR-AU-xxxx voucher)
$200 GALAXY2025 signup
$400 loyalty voucher (the Cxx-xxxx voucher)
$150 trade-in bonus (EPP/edu bonus)
20% off for using EPP/Westpac
5% off First time purchase on samsung account - this one just came up once i was able to log into my personal samsung account mid purchase.Hey mate
How did you get that price
I don't have the $100 voucher
Used Westpac and all the other vouchers and got a total of $1330
Thanks
some how they took my money but didn't create the order. Spent more than haft an hour with chat support, only to be told that it will be canceled in 7 days and I should make an other order. Then the chat box crashed and I had to contact support again. And start from the beginning again, for another 40 mins to get to the previous questions. And an other hour to get the questions answered. Now I have to wait for 1 day so the vouchers can (hopefully) be used again.
It's a lot of work…if I had more spare cash then I'd almost be happy paying retail after the difficulty I had yesterday!
Ok, I still wouldn't pay retail, but I'll put more value in other simpler deals that don't require voucher stacking
also not able to cancel buds3 off my order, it's possible to select it separately from the phone and other accessories I would like to keep, but cancelling errors out
tried support, they said they cancelled it yesterday, but nothing really changed. contacted today and they are pushing now that it's impossible.
oh well, marketplace or return it will be then.
Same. Ordered it from the EPP portal and errored out when I tried to cancel myself. Spoke to the support and they said you cant since the voucher has been applied. So either is a full cancellation or not.
the bastards. there's probably some bug preventing ppl from cancelling in certain situations. oh well I think I could even keep them, will check the reviews. after all, if I don't send the trade in watch, and sell my current phone, I'll get back more than I paid anyway.
Im trying to use myunidays 20% discount but i cant get the additional 5% from 1st purchase because i cant access the app with the discount….
Once i click to shop now, it takes me to samsung webpage and not the app…
Any work around this?
There would be an option in the App menu to change the store to education store. Try that and App will then load education store.
It doesnt work as it requires an edu account/email…
Myunidays doesnt provide an edu account… :(
Unfortunately, you need an edu email account to use the education store in the Samsung shop app for the 5% off, even with myunidays, because it requires a 6 digit code sent to the edu email to log in the Education store in the Samsung Shop app.
You have to log out of the app and log back in by scrolling to the bottom of the page and selecting the Education store from the "select store" button.
I can't seem to add Buds3 Pro in Silver to my cart. Getting an error - anyone else running into this too?
Both silver and white seem to be out of stock at the moment. Silver says "notify when back in stock", white doesn't but errors when you try.
Its out of stock. Wondering if anyone knows when is the next stock :(
keep checking
S25 256GB Blueblack and navy are OOS…what on earth, how do you run out of stock during a preorder?? Too slow :(
didnt forecast enough?
Chances are you're gonna slap a case on it anyway haha
true, but Navy was the one to get… ;)
Definitely will use a case. Currently my black S24 is in a nice black case from ebay
The preorder is for phones being sent out 6th Feb and they can only manufacture so many before the release date. They could add more stock if australia gets allocated more phones or they may change the ship date so it wont be here by official release.
Update: ordered the S25 256GB Blueblack this morning, thanks to Samsung surprisingly holding it in my cart since yesterday!
Deal stacking for the lowest price was amazing this year compared to last year, particularly thanks to the $300 voucher. I'll post a breakdown later.
Is there any other way to sign up for an edu account? anyone got a spare email by any chance i can use? Ive tried the free tafe course method but it doenst process right away and there's no gaurantee it will
I tried Westpac and I am getting $1329.20 price for 512GB.
Could someone please let me know what I am doing wrong, I can't bring down the price like other people have mentioned.
It's showing $150 trade in bonus + $400 trade in voucher. But no other discount.GALAXY2025 is a separate voucher for accessories, that I am aware of. But how to bring down the cost from $1329.20?
Thanks
You can purchase $100 voucher for $20
that's expired
Add two accessories to the order totalling close to $200 - one cheap as possible, one expensive - add the voucher (voucher will apply to the handset cost itself) - place the order - cancel the expensive accessory from the order
thanks, will try this.
What phone model are you buying? Also what are you trading in and whats the trade in value? Have you put the $20, boosted to $100 code voucher in? You would need to buy this of course. Comments in this thread have the link somewhere.
I am at checkout after adding a trade-in for a "Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Bluetooth" as it is one of the lowest value devices ($10) on the advice of others in this thread. I don't have one of these devices and obviously won't be sending it in but it is asking me to enter the watch serial number. Obviously I don't have this. Any ideas what to do?
Put the phone you are currently using as the trade in and say it is damaged. It will change value to $1 and dont send it back and cop the $60 fee.
I thought that security deposit is all we have to pay if we dont send anything?
Plus admin fee $60
Ended up doing this. Thanks heaps.
If i switch "Is your device free from physical damage? This includes cracks, dents, bends or broken parts." toggle it brings value of my s24u 512 gb down to 145, and my s23+ 256 gb to 75… not to $1.. am i missing something?
Just google a serial number for it. Thats what I did.
Anyway to apply galaxy2025 multiple times on different orders on same gov account? Buying for the family on my account
No…
How are people doing the 'broken' phone trade-in?
It asks for an IMEI number and wants it to be validated?
What is the work around here? You need an imei. Maybe look online or an imei generator or something
If I use my current phone, they can't lock it or do a wipe of it if I don't send it?
Nice one
Do you mean the Ipad Mini 4th Gen Wi-FI?
I've tried and cant see to get it to work! Please help
Yes anything that doesn't take sim card
@CodeXD: What random amount of numbers are we talking
I've tried everything. Even found a random one online
I keep getting "serial number cannot be the same" or "sorry our services are currently unavaialble. please try again or contact our customer services team.
If you utilise Westpac rewards, how can you login using Samsung to get additional 5% discount?
you can't.
I think its auto applied. I bought for wife on my gov portal thats 20%. Westpac is 15% +5%. Came up to same price paid for both phones
Don't students get 25% off? 20% off normally and 5% extra for first time app
Yes. But im far from being a student
Westpac is also 20% discount for the pre-orders of the S25 series.
How is it that the Edu store in the app is giving me one price and the Edu website is giving me a different one?
I regretfully did not add the screen protector and case to my order yesterday so purchasing it now but there is a $20 difference between the app and the wesbite.
5% first app order discount?
No, the 5% discount would only be a bit over $3 difference
Im abit confused with the $400 trade in bonus.
it automatically apply if i buy 1tb s25ultra, or i need a code or specific trade in phone?Call samsung chat and ask for it. Will need unique code starting with csp
I got my code (starting with CSP….) from within the "Samsung Members" app from the Android app store. When you open it there is a banner at the top. Scroll left/right until you see either the S25 or the S25 Ultra (depending which you want to buy) and click it and then ckicm "View Voucher". Copy/paste the voucher code.
just bought one with all the codes and accessories add-on. when should I cancel the accessories? right now, it says order accepted, so am I good to start cancelling the accessories? thanks
Hey guys,
Cost me $326 to trade in my S23 to a S25 and get a case and Buds3Pro's (Which I will sell)
S25 256gb = $176.24
Galaxy Buds3 Pro = $312.93 -$200 GALAXY2025 signup = $112.93
S25 Standing grip case = $37.52
Total = $326.69Discounts:
$100 evoucher ($20 – the SR-AU-xxxx voucher)
$200 GALAXY2025 signup
$400 loyalty voucher
$362 trade in on my S23 128gb
$100 trade-in bonus (EPP/edu bonus)
5% off First time purchase on samsung account - Using the app in my wifes EDU profileMade what looks like a small profit upgrading from a S24U. Can't tell how much I'll exactly get back after cancellation of accessories.
All the steps above.
Cancelled accessories except cheapest item.
Selling S24U in mint conditiion to mobile monster for $950 as opposed to samsungs $720.
Pay for non return fee of $30Just wanted to check if i cancel Asurian tradein today even before the new phone S25 ultra is being shipped. what will happen. the amount will stay as security + 60$ or tradein boost will go too ?
Why don't you just leave it?

Can someone help me working out how to calculate the 5% app discount? Although I made the order from my tablet. I'm just super curious to know the calculation. LOL
And for some reason, in my tax invoice, the 5% is mentioned twice:

Don't do -$200 for GALAXY2025 on the phone, and only do it for the Earbuds
What do you mean by that? About to place my order so just want to make sure I don't incorrectly allocate GALAXY2025. Are there exact steps of which accessory or phone to add first or when to apply each code? Thank you.
Nah it's just how the site does calculations. For some reason when you use the GALAXY2025 code, from memory it also "seemingly deducts an amount" off the phone visually when the code is only meant to work for accessories.
You can apply the coupons/vouchers/codes in any order you want - make sure they're all still there when you check out
@Garbotoxin: Thank you for confirming. Will add in the screen protector film, phone and the buds plus all the codes. Definitely will double check all my codes are still there when I pay. Ta

Thank you so much!!
I managed to get two S25 Ultras in one order with bonus stacking and only one set of discount codes. I got one titanium black 512gb and one jetblack 512gb for a total $2,247.51 charge on my card (plus $2x60 trade-in fee later as I won't be trading in any phones).
By adding a second phone to my cart on the EDU store with a trade-in selected, the GALAXY2025 was voucher doubled in cart for some reason for a $400 discount. and the $400 trade-in bonus code I got from the live chat was doubled again too for an $800 discount.
Order has gone through and seems to be fine. I plan on selling the second phone to offset the costs of the first phone even more. Wondering if anyone else has done this as it feels a little bit sketchy, but seems to be all good!Order confirmation email received just now.
For those wondering, this is the cost breakdown for my order for the two phones and accessories with one set of discount codes as it shows in the confirmation email. I purchased using the Samsung Shop app signed in on my student email and through the EDU portal. Note, you have to select different colours for the two models for this to work I believe, as the Trade-In code didn't apply twice when I added two of the same colour to my cart.Galaxy S25 Ultra Anti-reflecting Film

i believe he chose 512GB.
Man, thank you for the tip!
No worries! I'm surprised nobody else has tried this yet. Definitely a nice way to get a second phone at great value.
S21 should be $145 trade in?
I intentionally selected the boxes that indicated it had damage which reduced the trade-in value to $10.
Huge! has anyone else been able to match this and then being extra cheeky, does it work on 3 or more?
Thinking on cancelling my single order to try and do this
I haven't tried doing it with any more than 2. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with more devices unless Samsung have a limit on how many devices you can purchase in a single transaction. Indeed a great value!!
edit: I believe each device has to be a different colour or storage variant, as the discounts didn't apply twice when I had two of the same colour in my cart.
Edit: another user and I just worked out the maths breakdown on the discounts for the two phones.
The 5% discount for first-time purchase on the app comes at the end after applying all other discounts. For me it works out like this.

So good, i finally managed to add 2x galaxy s25 256gb for $2029 (no evoucher).
How did you generate the imei's and what product did you use? i cant seem to find two working imei's online, have used heaps of generators
@Perennial: Luckily I had two eligible devices, my old S8+ and my current S21. Not sure how to go about IMEI generators. Might be best to just ask a friend or relative to find out theirs. If you wanna be extra cheeky, you could go into JB hifi and find the IMEI of a display model? Hahaha.
@PimpButters: dont they send an email to the "registered email address" of the owner of the IMEI? if you use a random JB hifi IMEI, it will send the email to jbhifi… and you need the OTP password from that email to proceed?
"registered email address" of the owner of the IMEI
Lol and how do they get such a list? Lol
Did the $100 evoucher for ($20 cost) apply twice as well?
No, only the GALAXY2025 $200 eVoucher and the $400 trade-in bonus code.
Thanks!
My loyalty voucher is only giving me $300 not $400?
It's $400 for the Ultra and $300 for base and plus variant I believe. Live chat gave me a code without much hassle after about a 10 minute wait.
thanks
$400 is only for S25 Ultra
4 hundy for the ultra baby
Am I missing anything before checking out?
Also, is it correct that I don't need to send anything and I will be charged $30 for the trade in?
You didn't buy $20 evoucher worth $100 for S25 range?
EDIT: also if you want to cancel accessories, people said to order 2 accessories so you can cancel the more expensive one*
No I wasn't fully committed at that stage.
Can you please clarify the accessories point. If you order 2, only cancel 1 and that's better off?
saves u having to return after receiving
How to get the 5%off in Shop App? It shows the 5%off notification message in the cart screen, but it's not applied automatically when I check out.
It already comes off each item's price.
Hello everyone. I have a question, Samsung says $150 trade in bonus, but when i add my iphone se 2nd gen, I’m only getting $40. So, where’s the $150 bonus?
This deal is for Edu/EPP so if you are not seeing it then check you are on the right portal
Its typically auto applies to base price
Can it be stacked with the $400 trade bonus code??
I got the $400 off but I didn’t get an extra $150 bonus for trade in.Yes they stack.
Trade in bonus is typically auto applied. Assuming you are buying via edu, gov or some EPP portals e.g westpac) the total with about $200 of addon accessories should come up to $1080 for a S25U 256gb with a $10 tradein.
You will need to manually add in the following promos. $400 trade in voucher. $200 GALAXY2025 coupon. And the $20 for $100 coupon. The rest are auto applied
Thanks a lot😊!!
So for the trade in, are people selecting the phone with the most value, not sending it in and paying the $30/$60 dollar fee? I'm confused as to which phone I should select to trade in.
Asurion took my credit card details to hold a deposit on the value of the phone I was trading in. Not sure how all of the people who are claiming to not send their phone in are getting around that. Maybe it was described in one of the 25 pages of messages above
I think you're better off selecting a phone with low value, you will need the IMEI number though. If you select the model of your current phone and tick the boxes to indicate that it's damaged, the price should drop to either $1 or $10. From what I've read on this thread, there is a $30 fee for not sending in the cheaper/damaged models and a $60 fee for the more expensive ones, although I can't confirm that yet. Either way, the trade-in value discount is applied at checkout and you'll have to pay a seperate security charge transaction equal to the stated value of the trade-in devices. No matter what device you trade in, the final price you pay will be the same minus the possible $30 difference in the fee for not sending it.
I got charged for the trade in value. And will be refunded when i send through my phone. Not sure how they do it.
When does mobile Monster usually drop buying price for the old gen phone I have S24 Ultra I want to sell $950 but want to wait till my new S25U arrives but don't want to miss out on that Higher price
Cant say when they normally drop their prices, but from the date you do the order/quote with them, you have 14 days to return the phone so there is a bit of room to play between you submitting your trade details and returning it. Just have to hope your new samsung arrives within that same timeframe.
I would say wait another week before ordering the new phone but then you will lose out on a couple of the vouchers i thinkgReviews of Mobile Monster on ProductReview have been a bit dicey in the last 6 months! Making me nervous to take up that option.

$400 Trade-In bonus.
Here's 5% off your first purchase.I will just share this here if anyone have the TIME to cancel order and re-order to 'cancel to get a refund for the Earbuds'
As most of you may know you need a phone + accessory 1 + accessory 2, then you can cancel to get a refund for accessory 2 - something expensive like earbuds.
Anyways this is what I can confirm
the e-voucher $100 (paid $20)… when you cancel and reorder (the value is still $100) 72 hours (time limit)
the $400 bonus trade in code cannot be used again. You need to call Samsung support or Live chat to re-generate it CSP 400 discount code. You need to tell them you want the $400 or they could give u something of lesser value $150 etc…
The GALAXY2025 still works $200
Currently the $150 trade in bonus S25U still works. It's $100 for S25/ S25+ EDU Store
Shop App 5% will work (if you use a DIFFERENT email account, you can setup a new account. This is complicated…. technically this account does not need to be Edu.au or gov.au …. You need to contact Samsung Live Chat (orders department), asking them to "unlink your original email to the Education Store, they will reset it, takes about 2 hours) Then you can link your edu.au email to the new account (doesnt need to be edu.au). Dont call the 1300 number they will ask u to wait for 24 hours to reset it. Dont have time.
Once you cancel the order, Asurion will release the IMEI automatically, and you can relink to the new order. I suspect Asurion will refund to… but my trade in value is only $1.
Cancelling Samsung order, refund of money will take about 5 days.
now to see if all this trouble is worth it :(
First one that after cancelling the order can I use my $20 code again immediately?
Yes. You can use it immediately, the value is still $100
so until tomorrow 72 hours
successful cancel
https://imgur.com/a/bbmUgsIYou get an email saying your earbuds is cancelled. I think I read somewhere the money will be sorted out later when shipment is done in February.
I can confirm the $200 GALAXY2025 is still used against the phone. You do need another accessory, hopefully something of lesser value to bundle it with the phone.
I have exact same order as yours only buds 3 pro are number 2 and the case is number 3. I am able to select buds 3 pro but when i cancel it errors out. If I select the silicon case, the phone is automatically selected. I was thinking of cancelling the order but not sure if i should if i get stuck at the same point.
I read it has to be in the right sequence.
Phone
+ Accessory 1 (something cheap)
+ Accessory 2 (you want to cancel and get refund like earbuds)Then and only then it will work. The Phone + Accessory 1 is linked to form the BUNDLE (which allowed the GALAXY2025 code -$200) to be applied.
Accessory 2 is not bundled with the phone (weird setup, but something Ozbargain hunters are using)
@dealsucker: If you have the TIME
to cancel and reorder… this is the automatically cancellation which dont go through "human verification and supervision"
Some ppl have written they will just turn up to Samsung office when they received the phones and return it to Samsung the earbuds, some people have written they will just call Samsung later to return it after delivery… etc…idk what is best for your case.
Will they claw back $200 GALAXY2025 discount? I dont know with absolute certainty. https://www.samsung.com/au/shop-faq/returns-and-cancellation…
But I do know that the Samsung Customer Support online and phone is unable to Unbundle the phone too if its the wrong sequence.
@Sydney11: Thanks. Yeah I just spoke to them and they could not do it. I am planning to return them once I receive them and technically the price of the buds listed in the invoice should be the amount that they refund.
Are you using the samsungshop app and choosing EDU? It's so figgedty i ended up buying 3 cases by accident and the buds3. nonetheless i wasnt able to remove the accessories
Can anyone please help me to find the info that If I will cancel the order so can I use my $20 voucher which I used to order? That will be available agian to use?
Thanks
yes you can re-use it. It took me a few minutes. the value is still $100
Ok so I just ordered mine.
S25 Ultra 512GB came down to $1,443.24
Buds 3 $170.43
Galaxy Fit3 $84.93
Total showing as $1,698.60Traded in galaxy watch 4 LTE classic for $10
Ordered through app with 5% off and added the GALAXY2025 codeThe Asurion page at the end says that if we don't return the phone, they will charge the security charge, which is the trade in value ($240 for my phone), plus $60 late return fee. But people here seem to think its only $60 charged. How come?
You get the Trade in value discounted from order total. Asurion will not refund it back if the device isn't sent.
Because we set our trade in value to $1. We just wanted the $400+150=$550 Trade in Bonus without sending the phone to Asurion
So we only paid security deposit for $1. instead of $240 in your case for your phone.
We didnt want to give Asurion our phone. They value it very little. So we just use the IMEI and declare… opps… the screen is cracked… it will drop the value. In my case it dropped the case to $1. So that is that.
It has been rumored (unconfirmed for 2025), at least last year 2024 it admin fees can go down to $30 for low value phones example $1. Since nobody has done this year 2025, everything is unconfirmed. You can read up in past threads to get more information.
There are a lot of people on here who are saying they are trading in an S23U or s24U to get the price down, then planning to not return. If they were valuing their phones at $1 with a cracked screen or something then they may as well say they are returning an S8…
You need an IMEI. whichever phone you have I guess… and the phone of lesser value the 'safer" or better…my is a 6 years old phone
Assurion also take your credit card details, so yes I think there is a good chance there will be a lot of Ozbargain people in for a surprise when they don't return their S23U/S24U as promised.
Ok it might not have happened other years, and it might not happen this year
I think you don't understand that if you were to trade in a phone with a value of $500. They are already removed the $500 off your buy price. Hence why they hold the security deposit otherwise they would be out for the trade in value. This way you got say the $500 trade in value plus the trade bonus. But they keep the security deposit of $500 so its equal
Yes, I understand that. I'd suggest half of the people commenting here don't understand that given the talk of not returning phones
https://images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/assets/au/term…
that's the terms and conditions
it says
If You: (a) fail to post in Your Existing Device to Us within fourteen (14) days after the date on which You receive Your New Samsung Device at your nominated delivery address, You may be charged a Late Return Fee in accordance with clause 7.3(a) below;
then, 7.3 says:
Late Returns:(a) If You return Your Existing Device to Us more than fourteen (14) days but less than ninety (90) days after the date on which You receive Your New amsung Device, We will:
(i) accept Your offer to transfer ownership of Your Existing Device to Us (in which case You enter into a contract with Us for the sale of Your Existing Device to Us
and ownership of Your Existing Device will transfer to Us); and
(ii) charge You a Late Return Fee.
(b) If You return Your Existing Device to Us more than ninety (90) days after the date onwhich You receive Your New Samsung Device, We will:
(i) not accept Your offer to transfer ownership of Your Existing Device to Us (in which case You do not enter into a contract with Us for the sale of Your Existing
Device to Us and ownership of Your Existing Device will not transfer to Us); and
(ii) arrange for Your Existing Device to be returned to You.
(c) If clause 7.3(b) applies You will not receive a refund of the Security Charge due to You already having received an equivalent reduction off the Purchase Price of Your New Samsung Device Online7.3 in no way covers not returning it, only, if you return it > 14 days and > 90 days
Lots of people think they won't return their high value phone and asurion will take only $30. Asurion has put block on your cc for trade in value and they will take it if we don't send device. They have $560.block on my cc for s23u 256gb. Outside asurion s23u price is same Around $600 so won't make my difference to keep phone and sell outside for $20-30 gain.
Only bad thing is you have to deal with Asurion
But you received a further $560 discount on your final purchases price. Therefore are holding a security deposit of it not being sent in
Absolutely. And I'm going to send it anyway. Just saying that if you don't send , they will take away money from your cc.
@pyramid: I put in a low end phone that was worth $50. Please correct me if i'm wrong. The way I understand it is if I don't return a phone, they will just keep that $50 and that will be the end of it.
@LostyJai: There are few comments around additional admin fee of $30/60 charged for asurion if we don't send device.ill see how it goes
@pyramid: I imagine by not returning a device, it would fall under clause 7.3.b:
7.3 Late Returns:
(b) If You return Your Existing Device to Us more than ninety (90) days after the date on which You receive Your New Samsung Device, We will:
(i) not accept Your offer to transfer ownership of Your Existing Device to Us (in which case You do not enter into a contract with Us for the sale of Your Existing Device to Us and ownership of Your Existing Device will not transfer to Us); and
(ii) arrange for Your Existing Device to be returned to You.(c) If clause 7.3(b) applies You will not receive a refund of the Security Charge due to You already having received an equivalent reduction off the Purchase Price of Your New Samsung Device Online.
The way I read it is that you will forfeit your security deposit and that is it.
@LostyJai: how? b) specifically states if you return your existing device to us more than ninety days after …….
the subsequent clauses relate to that.
you are reading things that are not there
@bohn: The way I understood it is that after 90 days you forfeit everything, but that's just my interpretation.
@LostyJai: I'm not sure when everything is forfeited, but, I know that 7.3 only relates to when someone returns a device after 14 and 90 days
It doesn't cover anything to do with someone not returning
Samsung rep confirmed there will be $60 admin fees for not sending device.
What they say has to match up to the terms and conditions; the terms changed in July 2024 afaik.
Perhaps the rep. is relying on past experiences. I trust terms and conditions over an online rep.
Show me where in the terms and conditions ?

btw you can see this document, is 07 2024…
so like I said, may not be the same as previous years (I haven't seen last years)@bohn: I think you should speak to the rep. Pyramid is simply relaying what the rep has told him, don't hold him accountable.
@LostyJai: no need? I have the terms and conditions, I am just suggesting people read them themselves.
Online reps in all businesses can often get it wrong.
@LostyJai: They will take that money plus admin fee of $60 when we don't return device. I haven't read t and C but rep told me .

It has no fee for not returning.Like I said, it was removed in July 2024.
@pyramid: yep, found it - see my post above yours

that link is surely the one to rely on - if the other pdf was the one, that would show up when going there.

I was getting more discount when I access via this url (https://shop.samsung.com/au/multistore/auepp/samsung_perks_a… ) compared to regular page https://shop.samsung.com/au/cart.
I have logged in using a regular email (not edu or EPP). Worth trying if you are yet to put an order

Can you choose Parcel Locker as Delivery Address?
I don't see why not
Just posting again for visibility as it may help someone out:
I managed to get two S25 Ultras in one order with only one set of discount codes. I got one titanium black 512gb and one jetblack 512gb plus over $200 of accessories for a total $2,247.51 charge on my card (plus $2x60 trade-in fee later as I won't be trading in any phones).
Using the Samsung Store app with the EDU portal, I added the second phone (different colour, I believe this is important) to my cart with a trade-in selected, the GALAXY2025 voucher was then doubled in cart for some reason for a $400 discount (even though I only have one set of accesories totalling just over $200), and the $400 trade-in bonus code I got from the live chat was doubled again too for an $800 discount.
Order has gone through and the status now is 'awaiting dispatch'. I plan on selling the second phone to offset the costs of the first phone even more. Wondering if anyone else has done this as it feels a little bit sketchy, but all seems to be good!On the previous page I wrote a full breakdown of the order costs as it shows in my confirmation email for anyone interested in grabbing two devices at the discounted price. Bargain deal!!
Edit: another user and I just worked out the maths breakdown on the discounts for the two phones.

Did you have to provide two separate devices for trade in (even though you don't intend on sending it in) or are you able to use the same device? Thinking might be worthwhile to send in a broken device if it's to save on the $120 admin fee (2 x $60 for each phone)
I'm not sure if using the same device would work, didn't try. I used the IMEI for two seperate devices that I had lying around. I've heard others say that the admin fee might only be $30 for phones under $10 value. Hopefully this is the case.
@PimpButters: Ended up using two device IMEI and got almost the same price for two new phones (s25U 512GB) and similar priced accessories. Thank you so much for sharing this as I wouldn't have had the chance to get two phones for this great price otherwise.
Thanks mate, worked perfectly. Got 2x S25U 512gb for me and wife for $2019.03 with some accessories with trade ins of our S20 and S21+
No worries! Great to hear that!
Damn. I only did 1 phone, but need to buy another for my friend however I can't as only have one EPP login.
I just tried this, my GALAXY2025 eVoucher only took -200, not -400 for both phones. Just realised this might be because the GALAXY2025 code has been reduced to 100$ not 200%$ maybe?
(different colour, I believe this is important)
Yeah, trade-ins can't be added if they're both the same colour. How annoying.
I think it might also work if they are different storage variants of the same colour but I haven't tested this.
Has anyone been already charged by the asurion for the trade value?
you mean the $1 ? Yes you need to place a deposit for the trade in value
depending on your trade in phone, gear and condition.
you cant proceed to purchase the phone without finalizing the trade in value .
I got charged for $185 which is the trade value of my current phone.
That's normal since that same $185 was taken off your S25 order. They will release that back to you when you send in your working phone.
Normal
They xharge straightaway
Just want to ask i cancelled 2 of my items got confirmation for cancelling accessories but i havnt received refund yet anyone know whats going on?
Typically upto a week to process
Did you cancel during checkout or after?
They will refund after the phone is delivered.
When was the shipment date by the way? Early February?
from 13 Feb
Isn't it 6th Feb?
my order said 13th feb. But i ordered today.
maybe 6th feb for yesterday's orders.
@Sydney11: Was 6th so anything layer means they sold out of the initial allocation so they are doing well with sales.
thanks everyone, finally upgraded from my 6 year old note 10! remember doing this deal 6 years ago back in uni. only this time its even cheaper with all the codes stacked.
One note for anyone who wants to cancel the "eco system" items. just click on the cancel order button (yes its safe) then it will let you select what you want to cancel.
I guess it wouldn't affect the discounts.
I did that exactly and it was fine. However, it seems to only let you do that for earlier orders. It let me cancel my accessory from yesterday's order but not today's order.
Hi all, I missed out on the $20 for $100 eVoucher. Any option to still buy this? Have requested on the Megathread already.
there is a link somewhere in forum here. it take a few hours to come through
I tried but doesn't give the option to purchase as it's now the 24th I believe.
Ohhhh..thats something i am not sure of
Theres always a next time with these things. Its just a phone
Anyone selling the $20 voucher pm me!
Ask Sam.
If we don't send in the traded device, are we able to reuse the same IMEI again for future trade ins? I put in a trade for an old iPhone with my order this time and I remember already used it once before (back in 2022 for a S8 tab) just can't be sure now.
You already have your answer if it let you put it in with your order already.
You can only use twice for the same IMEI number.
why twice? where does that come from?
I can only seem to get my order price down to $1,515, seems like most here are trading recent phones.
The prices of the S10 have gone from $90 down to $55.
I am only using the $400 trade in code along with my $20/100 voucher.
Rather than getting buds I just opted to put about 5 cases to allow me to utilise the GALAXY2025 voucher.I dont have Edu or EPP or Gov solutions. Any ideas how to get this lower?
I found doing it on the desktop browser in the EPP store gave me an entirely different (bad) pricing compared to going through the Samsung Shop App (in EPP). Possibly it's the same issue?
Samsung Shop App gives extra 5% discount for first purchase, that's why it's cheaper.
what are you trying to buy? S25 Ultra 512GB?
Look at Westpac option as discussed here.
I was using the Shop App on my phone, buying the S25 Ultra 512GB, Cant use Westpac or other solutions except for the Web store via Browser or the Shop App on my phone.
Also had another $200 voucher from the Members App but that seems to be inoperative now.
What does you $400 code start with? CSP?
Maybe JB hi-fi is has a better for you.
Can I just put in a random device to trade in (and not send through) or does it require you to put in an IMEI?
Yes
Last night, they wanted me to put in the IMEI.
Today, only selected phone and was never asked for IMEI, and trade in values seem lower today.
After reading the comments on this thread, I'm a little freaked out by how difficult Asurion seem to be to deal with. Although I have already entered in my IMEI of my s22 ultra to trade in w Asurion- there's nothing stopping me from turning around and sending it to Mobile Monster right? (I just lose the security deposit ($340 + $60), right?)
That's my understanding, yes. FWIW I recently dealt with Asurion several months ago when I got a z fold6…traded in my ZF2 with no issues. Made sure to take plenty of photos/videos as evidence of my phone condition, but didn't really need them because it all worked out no issues.
You only lose $60. You paid $340 less for the new phone. If you don't send the trade-in phone, you have to pay back that $340.
use Samsung shop app for additional 5% off first purchase
This is samsung shop app. How do I know if I got tue 5% discount? Thanks mate.
Your cart already has 5% app discount of $91.37 applied.
Don't you have access to EDU or EPP store?
@buybuylah: yes, that's what this deal is about.
EPP/EDU have
20% off on S25 Ultra
40% off on Buds3 Pro
Bonus $150 trade-in discount that's automatically added
Bonus $400 trade-in discount with coupon that you already have
$200 discount with GALAXY2025 for accessories
5% app discount for .gov EPP (select Australian Government Store in the bottom of the app in Account tab)Your order would come down to $1204.22 if you do correctly
@buybuylah: Got it for 1200$ s25 ultra 256gig. With case, screen protect and buds pro3. Thinking if I should cancel the buds pro or keep it. Godbless you mate!
Cant see $150 trade in bonus. Is it even applied?
Where can I get the code for that? I try to trade in my s10+ but only got 1$
It's automatically applied. Look at the price of the phone. It's $100 for other models or $150 for Ultra.
Awsome , thanks OP , Got Ulta 1TB for 1110.74
How you got foe 1110.74
20 % off epp, then trade in bonus of $150, $400 off the code and $280 for my trade in value and 5% off the 1st time purchase
that is such an amazing deal. What accesories did you pick? I can only bring it down to 1463 max.
Don't understand why people say the offers this year aren't as good as last year. Spent $1,210.57 last year on S24 Ultra (256GB) with accesories trading in $1 phone.
This year trading that phone in using EDU portal for:
Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB)
Galaxy S25 Ultra Anti-reflecting Film
Clear Magnet Case for Galaxy S25 Ultra
Galaxy Buds3 Pro$740 Trade-In (S24 Ultra 256GB)
$100 Galaxy eVoucher+
$200 eVoucher
$150 Trade-In bonus
$400 Trade-In bonus
= $1,590S25 Ultra 256GB = $1,719.20 - $1,590 = $129.20
Galaxy S25 Ultra Anti-reflecting Film = $19.50
Clear Magnet Case for Galaxy S25 Ultra = $27.50
Galaxy Buds3 Pro = $239.40Subtotal: $415.60
After cancelling Buds3 Pro invoice shows:Grand Total: $176.20
The S25+ and S25 seem a lot stronger this year compared to last years now that they have Snapdragon. The only thing stopping me from S25+ was 0.2 inches of screen and it doesnt have the anti-reflective coating. The only problem I had with S24 Ultra was the mediocre performance. In games, noticeable stuttering and frame drops that shouldn't exist on a ~$2000 RRP phone. The iPhone 15 Pro/Max really dominated in that regard. Maybe most don't care but that's one of the best reasons to get a new phone I think and this new CPU seems super promising based on results from other phones using the same chip.
How good is that anti reflective coating on the ultra? Like it on the tvs, curious about the phone
I gotta say it's awesome. I then promptly covered it up for 11.5 months of the last year with a super reflective screen cover.
Ha ok
Better get the anti-reflective screen guards this year! ;)
Option to cancel partial item from the order is now unavailable. Whole order can only be cancelled.
I just cancelled my buds 3 and keep the phone and the case. Got $170 refund
Have you received the funds? Or just an email confirming cancellation?
They will refund you after the phone is delivered.
@jimojr: They won't accept returns anymore apparently. confirmed with samsung support. hopefully im wrong
What were the prompts/steps you followed?
I'm also only getting the option to cancel the whole order as soon I click on cancel order.
i think you have to follow the correct sequence.
Phone + first accessory = cannot cancel
the other accessories 2nd, 3rd etc… I managed to cancelUsually the 2nd accessory is the expensive one like earbuds
the first accessory which you cannot cancel, its usually cheap or something you want.
Can I get this delivered to my local post office? Ive never got anything sent to the posties but my local areas not that safe for home deliveries, especially since I'm going to be at work. I know that on the Samsung website it says:
"Samsung is not able to delivery to a PO Box, however we are able to deliver small items to Australia Post Parcel Locker and Parcel Collect Locations across Australia."
Does this mean they'll be able to deliver to my local post office? Thanks.
I think they say if it can't be signed for it will be taken to your local PO anyways so all g
Samsung order previously left it at the post office if no one at home, in addition to emails and text notifying of shipping progress. That was star track from memory but I got texts and emails from Samsung
Pretty sure you need to sign for it and they dont leave it if nobody is home so will end up at post office. They used startrack previously.
@pyramid If interested… Difference between S25Ultra and S23Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra vs S23 Ultra - Should You Upgrade? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_6fADY5B9kYa he favoured s23u…I might cancel order.
I'm keeping my S23 Ultra. Have been very happy with it.
I thought he favours S25 U but says only upgrade if you can afford it. Even if you can afford it, I feel it's a bit nuts to upgrade an excellent and perfectly working phone.
Have bought 2 but it's for my kids to upgrade their phones.Like @sydneysurfer said he actuaaly said s25U but I found another video of recent livstream battery drain test between s25U and 16MaxPro and S24U new And S24U 1 year old…. 16MaxPro still won but the S25U closed the gap and lasted longer than the S24U new and surprised at the battery degradation after one year on the S24U old.
https://www.youtube.com/live/zlDv2e2gXSI?si=FMgL536YbsIaFbYE
my s23 ultra feels buggy with 8gb of ram
How much you guys getting s25 512gb ultra?
So far I got
$200 evoucher
$400 trade in bonus broken s10+
Bundle discount using galaxy2025 with buds pro
5% app shop purchaseTotal=$1735
Is their anymore I can use to get a good deal thanks
Go to education store you will get another 20% off
For me $977
if you minus the cancel of earbuds $977-$170=$807
if you add the Asurion late/admin fees for not sending the phone (idk some ppl say $60, others dispute the amount, i will put $60 as an example), $20 evoucher cost, $1 deposit = $807+60+20+1
=$888
If you intend to claim back GST, I "think" its $91.. excluding the earbuds, since that portion was returned.
=$888 - $91
= $797 S25 Ultra 512G
Were you able to cancel the ear buds or just returning?
How did you get it that low?
you mean $977 ? Is it not very low, I think its pretty standard. And my trade in value was only $1. Others would who are trading in a higher value phone could get it even lower…
@Bargains hunterr: This is for $977
2,349 RRP S25U 512G (same RRP as Samsung store before any discount)
-470 20% EDU (auto)
-100 eVoucher 100 (pre-purchased code for $20)
-200 GALAXY2025 (generic code for pre-order promotion, I cancelled my earbuds)
-400 Trade Bonus 400 (code from Samsung Members/ Samsung agent)-150-150
-150 Trade Bonus 150 (auto)
-51 5% First Purchase (auto on Shop App)
-1 Trade-In $1 (old phone)$977 Subtotal
I read there is another code for 1TB, I think $200 not exactly sure how it stacks with other codes. Check out page 1 and other pages, I am sure others also mentioned it.
@Sydney11: typo:
-400 Trade Bonus 400 (code from Samsung Members/ Samsung agent)-150-150
the -150-150 at the back is typo.
Your calculation seems incorrect. I ordered from EPP store where I also got the same discounts as you mentioned below.
Your phone although is $977 but the earbuds are separate, so total cost of your invoice would be higher. So when you refund it, it will refund the earbuds part.
For example:
Galaxy S25 Ultra Anti-reflecting Film $18.53
Clear Magnet Case for Galaxy S25 Ultra $26.13
Galaxy S25 Ultra 512GB $976.79
Trade-In -$1.00
Galaxy Buds $170.42
Total $1,191.87So if you remove the galaxy buds, that does not decrease the price of your phone any more from $976.79. GST refund you can still do via TRS
Any one can help me how to get education portal on app
I am getting normal price onlyClick on store at the bottom and the on thr next screen click education store
Open App
Go to Account tab
Select Store (in bottom)
Got s25 256gb for 250 after trading in flip 4 and cancelling eadbuds. Thanks op
when did you cancel?
Almost within 30 minutes
Does anyone have a working way to get around IMEI's for the trade ins. I'm trying to use "PimpButters" method of buying two at once but cant pass the IMEI's. Have tried finding random IMEI's and generators (althougth they seem to be fake) online for Galaxy S8, Galaxy Watch 4 and Apple Ipad 4th gen WIFI
Mr cart reads $2048 with buds pro 3 and 2x $18.52 cases
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Can you use your current phone? Have an old phone?
Nope
Non LTE watches can be traded in. Ie Bluetooth
been 24 hours after i put my order but still haven't gotten any confirmation email about it. but it shows in 'my oders' tab in my account. is this normal?
Doesn't seem normal to me. I purchased mine last night. I received the confirmation email in a few minutes.
Edit: May be Get in touch with them. They're quite helpful.
I bought today and its been 3 hours and did not get the email. I have spoken to customer care and they advised sometime it takes 24 hours to accept the order due to payment check.
Have you checked your spam folder maybe? I received my confirmation not long after my order was submitted yesterday around 5.30pm, and so was my friend this afternoon.
Yes checked the spam. My friend placed order yesterday and he got the email on the same time hence, I just ordered today amd did not get yet.
Took me about a day
I have spoken to bank they said money relases, Samsung said they did not get the money.
Samsung advised me that I should request my bank to cancel my order in which I will loose the benefits which I used.
Just a wild thought, if you do not return your trade in device, apart from the deducting the amount on hold and the admin fee, samsung would not go ahead and charge back for the discounts?
They charge like $30 or $60 if I remember correctly.
Thats asurion, what about samsung? Simply because the bonus was based on you returning the product
There's no precedent of them ever doing that if it helps. This method has existed for years.
Seems the $150 trade in bonus is gone and the accessory prices have gone up :/
edit: I was in the regular store, not edu. My bad.
Did any of you managed to cancel buds 3 pro from your order? I reached out through chat support and here is what they said
"I do understand that. As much as we love to cancel the earbuds we are afraid to do so since there is an ongoing promotion cancellations are disabled for now so that it won't affect you discounts"
If you only ordered 1 accessory, you cant cancel it.
I ordered a case as first option and buds 3 pro as second and still couldn't cancel. Got the contact support error. I only tried on the APP since the browser only has the option to cancel entire order.
@Sydney11: Did you first have to click the cancel order which then shows the sub check box?
I ask because I only got one cancel button for all the purchases.@kisshell9: when i did it yes. I click on the cancel order button and the sub check box appeared for me.
i have just one accessory added. Possibly why they couldnt cancel it. Hope i can return it.
I got my S25 Ultra at the official Samsung online store at 1,566.55. Here's a breakdown of how I achieved this price point. ( NON TRADE-IN Option)
- Use Samsung app to purchase- Additional 5% discount (auto applied)
- Purchase $20 Evoucher valued at $100 if used for Pre-Order Devices.
- Use GALAXY2025 Code (Worth 200$)- For this to work, it's required to purchase an ecosystem device valued more than 200$
- I Spoke to the chat agent because I didn't receive my Evoucher code. He sorted out the issue and gave me another $200 code.
Total: 2149-100-200-200-5%= $1566.55
Cheers!
I think you paid about $500 more than you should have.
I got my Ultra 512 for circa $1250Slightly late for me but do you mind sharing how you did it?
Help me guyz. 2 question. 1) what if i select trade in when i buy and not send my phone for trade 2) how to get the benefit with galaxy2025 code worth of 200$.
1) You get charged a non-return fee of $60 and also lose your trade-in phone value (so probably pick the cheapest phone).
2) You need to add accessories totalling $200 or more. If you want to cancel like others, other say a case/screen protector and earbuds, then later cancel them. Check comments, there have been many posts. Is it $60 or $30 if we put that the glass is broken as some people said here ?
the third one
For the GALAXY2025 code, you need to add some accessories valued at $200 or more. Charger, Case, Earbuds etc..
Some people try to cancel one of their accessory (usually the more expensive one) to get a refund. But you need to do it in the right sequence.
Phone + 1st Accessory (together this is a bundle). Accessory 1 is either a cheap one or something you want
- 2nd Accessory, this is usually the expensive one or the one you want to cancel to get refund. Like an Earbud etc… you just need it to get over $200 to be able to use the code GALAXY2025.
Several people have written and shared their experience about cancelling part of the accessories.
Is GALAXY2025 code still working?
Yes. You need to add accessories minimum $200 to make the code work
Can someone help me Please the code you entered did not affect your order Please note codes may only be valid for certain items or in certain conditions
Help us help you
What code are you trying to enter…?
Code received from chat agent starts with ERP - - -
For trade in
I have added $10 product for trade inWhat is the value of this discount code ? This seems to be an agent specific code…generated by the agent. Usually the agent will let you know or email you telling you what you can use it for, how to use it, terms and conditions.
You can contact any agent again when you get a chance, they will be able to advise you. They can figure out which agent generate that code…wat it can be used for… here is an example:
Chat agents are gone
i'm trading in my flip4. It has air bubbles under the screen protector in the crease area. Would that be reason for trade-in rejection even though there is no problem with the screen. Anybody had any issues with similar trade in?
Conflicting reports in this thread, can someone confirm, can you cancel the accessories after placing the order anymore? Doesn't seem like you can and just have to wait for it to be delivered?
i ordered about an hour ago, got the confirm email, but all i get is the order cancelled by end user option i did the phone first with a case, then the cover, then the buds last, but yeah doesnt give me any other option maybe when it changes to awaiting dispatch? but yeah ill return the buds once i get them if i cant cancel
Thanks. Yeah, I did the Cancel Order risky click. It just asked me for a cancellation reason, no option to partially cancel.
@paisedo: a user above prav24 posted something that said this
""I do understand that. As much as we love to cancel the earbuds we are afraid to do so since there is an ongoing promotion cancellations are disabled for now so that it won't affect you discounts""
maybe they have disabled it for new orders or im overthinking @Jeeyang when did you place you order
@paisedo: @leasky @devs @paisedo
Awaiting dispatch is too late, it will cancel the entire order as your order is already packed and awaiting courier pickup.@LostyJai: i was doing it 2 minutes after ordering when it was order accepted, 10 mins it said order confirmed before awaiting dispatch and it was saying the same thing…
@leasky: Then I'm not sure, mine is in awaiting dispatch and agent told me you can't modify because it's packed and awaiting courier pickup.
@LostyJai: That's certainly not the case, at least not in the past few times I've done it. Thanks though.
successful cancel
https://imgur.com/a/bbmUgsII managed to cancel the earbuds. I also get an email confirming the cancellation of the earbuds.
from my recollection, i didnt wait… I think i did it right after I received the Order/Invoice via email, confirming my order, and within 5 minutes I cancelled the Earbuds.
I can cancel accessories. Need to wait until the status becomes 'awaiting dispatch'
Mine's on awaiting dispatch, but cancel seems to apply to the entire order?
Try to use a PC browser to see if there is any difference.
@Jeeyang: I think the website got smarter but not smart enough for ozbargainers.
It will link 1 of the accessories to the phone. So if your order only has 2 items e.g. 1 buds + 1 phone then the cancellation tick box is linked.
Where as if you choose multiple accessories with your phone, you can cancel some of them but there will always be 1 accessory linked which you cant cancel without cancelling the phone.
Awaiting dispatch is too late, it will cancel the entire order as your order is already packed and awaiting courier pickup.
Anyone still selling their $20 Evoucher valued at $100 for $20 PM me
I'm after the $20 voucher if someone not using it. TIA
How do you specify the quality of the trade in device? It defaults to 'good quality' and I can't see a way to change this
I believe it depends on the answers you pick for the various questions regarding the phone.
Thank you, however I haven't been asked any questions!
keep checking out!
u can't miss itIt doesn't ask at the beginning when you pick your phone, it's during the checkout where you provide ID and IMEI information.
Just continue and proceed. It wont allow you buy the phone without finalizing your Trade in value. It will refresh your Invoice with the new trade in value after it asked you questions, paid a deposit of the trade-in value to Asurion, photo id, address, phone number, received SMS and email from Asurion, IMEI, etc…
there is a whole bunch of stuff they will ask from you before allowing you to check out and pay for the phone.
check dm

The message shows $150 trade-in applied but I cannot see it applied in the cart. Do we see -$150 similar to -$200 in the cart?
Am I missing something ?If anyone finds a way to cancel buds, without being prompted to cancel the entire order please.

Did you cancel just now, i have 3 accessories, however cant cancel. I placed an order in last 45 minutes.
I don't believe that the item can be cancelled individually anymore. Check my comment below.
can show screenshots whats the issue?
My comment below:
"I have just checked my order. When I clicked the "Cancel Order" button, I can no longer to see an individual item option. Instead it's a whole order. I also couldn't cancel my buds previously before Samsung changed it's system."I believe that you can even click "Cancel Order" in your order and you will know my meaning. Please note that it's safe to check as you still need to confirm the cancellation by selecting a reason.
@HappyBargainer: Literally 5 minutes ago, I couldn't cancel the order at all (the button caused an error) however the 'cancel order' button was available on my mobile device (the status had also updated to 'Order Accepted').
I tested it out and it cancelled my entire order. I was not presented with an option to cancel individual items.
@HappyBargainer: I seem to remember this issue last year with the S24's. The cancel option for individual items was only available at a certain stage of the order - however I can't remember if it was order received, order accepted, or awaiting dispatch.
@dubo1981: Yes. I remember it as well. Anyway, I wasn't able to cancel any item since the order was placed yesterday.
@HappyBargainer: They changed the system a bit. U need to leave min 1 accessory now. So if u order only buds3 pro, u can’t cancel. If u order 2 accessories (or more), then u can cancel 1 (or more), but still need to leave 1 accessory at the end
I think I cancelled about 23 hours ago. Maybe they patched it since then?
You must jave more than 1 accessry in your order…!!!! Thats why you were able to cancel. I only have a phone and buds 3 pro, and when I select buds 3 pro it automatically selects the phone as well.
256gb?
yes, sorry
is this the S25U 256G? The figures seems slightly lower than the S25U 512G
oh yes this is the 256 GB, sorry.
Hey mate
Can I ask how your getting 824.79 for the phone?
I'd doing a $1 trade in and staked all the codes and not getting close to that.
Using both edu and the westpac portal

Its $300 for S25, $400 for Ultra.
Isn't there a $150 trade in bonus as well?
Also how did you get the $300 trade in bonus?
I think I did get the extra $150 off going through the Education Store yeah
Download Samsung Members app and go to 'Benefits' and download your voucher code
Was planning to do the same order through the edu store. So you didn't need to contact live chat to get a code for the trade in bonus?
I have just checked my order. When I clicked the "Cancel Order" button, I can no longer to see an individual item option. Instead it's a whole order. I also couldn't cancel my buds previously before Samsung changed it's system.
Same here hahaha. Long time no see
Mate!!! We are here again. It's time to utilise your expertise.
Same. called them as well and they said this was done on purpose to recticy a glitch in their system i "wonder" why
:). Please rectify this system issue.
I couldn't cancel the order at all (the button caused an error) however the 'cancel order' button was available on my mobile device (the status had also updated to 'Order Accepted').
I tested it out and it cancelled my entire order. I was not presented with an option to cancel individual items.
so ir order is cancelled?
Yep. Probably not the smartest thing in the world to do. Have to see what happens from here.
@dubo1981: Will be interested to know if it's any different when the order status is at "awaiting dispatch".
Using the education store in the app, and the S25 shows at $1279 until I apply a trade in, at which point it suddenly shows a base price of $1599, weird…
Yes its confusion I know.
The $1,599 is the RRP. $1,599 is the same RRP for Samsung store.
The $1,279 is the Education Store price after 20% discount. $1,599-$1,279 = $320 which is equivalent to the 20% Education discount. The invoice reverts back to the $1,599 RRP (as the starting base), it will reduce to a new lower amount
There will be also be an entry called "Additional Savings" …this will continue to increase. The $320 is here. The additional savings can increase to over $1500++ for Ultra.
when you net it $1,599 - additional savings = it will give you the true price after discounts/ vouchers/ promo etc…

If anyone is selling the $20>$100 voucher - I'll buy !
Looking for$20 voucher code
Please let me know if anyone haveMy partner is wondering if she can use GALAXY2025 and also buy the $20 eVoucher if she hadn't done anything until now?
Regarding the GALAXY2025, yes its still available
It's important to note it can be use for accessories. You need to bundle it with other items. When you apply the code, if it cant apply, it should prompt an error with some explanations on how to apply it.
Here is some of the write up of the pre-order for GALAXY2025. $200 value quoted is based on a $100 eVoucher via generic voucher code that will double in value to $200 from 23rd January 2025 5:00AM AEDT until 26th January 2025 4:59AM AEDT. From 26th January 2025 5:00AM AEDT, the value of the eVoucher will revert to its original value of $100 and will be valid until 13th February 2025 11:59PM AEDT. eVoucher must be redeemed in the same transaction as the purchase of a smartphone device from the Galaxy smartphone series unveiled at the 2025 Samsung Australia Unpacked event (23rd January 2025 5:00AM AEDT) and only on the Samsung Online Store. Any remaining portion of the eVouchers will be forfeited. Offer subject to Terms & Conditions of Sale.
You're right, it worked, thanks heaps
The cancel seems to be unavailable. Checked phone and browser and have 3 items
edit: seems the site is now completely fked, can't even cancel entire order. An exclamation mark appears with no words.
I can confirm I had the same issue as you on the desktop browser, but the 'cancel order' button was available on my mobile device (the status had also updated to 'Order Accepted').
I tested it out and it cancelled my entire order. I was not presented with an option to cancel individual items.
I've tried on multiple browsers on mobile but still get the error.
Why would you cancel?
Honestly I'm 50/50 whether to buy anyways. I like the S24U and I'm going away over the Asurion return period, so it's a bit of a hassle to deal with the trade in.
If I could have cancelled the Buds, the offer was too good for me to resist considering the value for trading in again in 12 months time.
Looking to buy the $100 eVoucher, will transfer $20, please let me know if you have a code :)
I snagged S25 256GB for $59.20 from the EPP store + 2-year SamsungCare+ for $124.50.
Here are the discounts/codes that applied:
$100 Galaxy eVoucher+
$100 Trade-In bonus
$300 Trade-In/Loyalty bonus
$560 Trade-in for s23 Ultra 256GBI admit that Samsung's discounts work in mysterious ways.
wow why did u downgrade?
With 2 years of use, I found Ultra to be overkill for my needs.
I was sold on the S24's form factor and compactness but decided to wait as it only came with the Exynos variant here.
S25's move to Snapdragon and that price ($59.20) was enough to sway me over.
If you bought yesterday, i think the trade value was higher.
S25 line up would be all fine, but if you use your camera a lot the Ultra would be better option. I was on the same situation like you where I got S22 Ultra but the form factor is just too big for me, so I downgrade to regular S23. I noticed back then my S22 Ultra camera is just better despite S23 being newer generation.
Not sure if be doing that trade. S23 Ultra is a way better phone.
My order has a status Awaiting dispatch, but I am unable to see the cancel button, does anyone know how I can cancel my order? I forgot to get this s25 512Gb from the epp store hence wants to cancel and reorder.. Thanks..
My order has a $1 trade in s25 512gb and a bud3 Pro.Won't you lose your $400 code if you cancel though?
previously, the code became active again after you cancel. Cant remember how long it takes though
you can get another new code, but needs a Samsung sales agent over the phone or live chat to generate it. That will not be an issue. Just say you want to re-order and need a new $400 CSP code.
Once you figure it out, can you let us know if you get the option to cancel individual items or if it cancels the entire order. Cheers.
If you would to like to cancel the whole order, you can chat or call Samsung as well. Just ask them the $400 trade in voucher code. Other codes should all work after the cancellation. Some users have done it before.

When did you cancel it? I don't have cancel button, I submitted my order 15 mins ago. It is now in order accepted stage. But I was refreshing it from order received stage and no cancel option
Thanks mate
Yep, could you confirm date/time when you cancelled buds? Plus confirm at what stage of the order it was (order received, order accepted, awaiting dispatch).
I cancelled my earbuds about 3pm AEST 24/01. After I received the order email, about 5 minutes I cancelled it. I dont remember which stage.
I canceled the buds3 pro this morning after 8:00, the order was awaiting dispatch.
You must have more than 1 accessry in your order. Ghats why you were able to cancel.
@OZBsince2018: I ordered a screen protector and Buds 3 Pro yesterday afternoon, just like in my first order. Now that they've fixed the loophole, I'm unable to cancel individual items from the order.
@jimojr: most likely you could sell the buds 3 pro for $250 on the market anyway. So apart from the hassle, you might be better off just not cancel it.
FYI for what it's worth (before I cancelled order) I was trading in an S24U 256gb and had two options for the cart:
S25U 256GB
2x Screen Protectors
1x Buds 3
Price: $348 (was hoping to cancel the buds to reduce to $168)S25U 512GB
2x Screen Protectors
1x Buds 3
Price: $508 (was hoping to cancel the buds to reduce to $328)Configuration was:
Edu Store via Shop App
GALAXY2025 Code
$20 to $100 Voucher
$400 Voucherwhy did you need two buds? I saw someone else being able to apply GALAXY2025 twice (same, like you two phones) but only had to get >$200 accessories instead of $400. Effectively the second GALAXY2025 of $200 went direct as discount to the phones. You can read more on Page 24.
he was also able to use $400 trade in bonus vouchers twice. 5% for the first purchase via Shop app for the whole invoice. And Edu store 20% for everything. Like you he had only one $100 evoucher code which he bought for $20.
This wasn't two separate orders.
These were the two configurations I was looking at purchasing. I pulled the trigger on the 512GB one - but cancelled 5 minutes later.

Any way to add $100 discount for the s25 purchase?
I had two email so got the 300 coupon for it but didn't buy the 100 for 20 code.
Is there any other coupon to get a $100 discount? No. Nobody seems to have gotten $100 loyalty voucher this time.
You can only stack 3x discount codes this year, so you'd need one that's better than the 'worst' one currently - which is the $20 for $100 voucher.
Which $100 discount? you mean this Bonus Trade-in $100? if yes, this is automatically applied. It should be in the additional savings.
I mean the extra one.
My wife also wants to get a phone but I have already bought S25 ultra.
Tried to use the code again for s25 only but the voucher don't work ..you should read what Pimpbutter wrote carefully on Page 24. There is a trick there…
You can apply some of the codes even GALAXY2025 twice for two phones and he only had to ensure he had $200 accessories, not $400. Effectively, cashing in on the second GALAXY2025 of $200 to offset the cost of the phone.
@Sydney11: Would this work with one s25u 512 gb and other s25 512gb?
They are not the same.
I had a order page open in Brave and so it auto loaded with my already used codes but couldn't use the Galaxy code. Thought may be ill try a different gov email tomorrow. If everything works good, I will cancel my current order and then use the same codes on a different gov account. Will that work mate?**I didn't pull the trigger. The s25 in my cart was 256gb so tried to change it to 512gb. now I have lost this screen and the codes for 300 and 100 is not working. **
@kisshell9: i think it need to be different types of phones to work. so i think you good.
see wat megalac wrote above. this page. twophones
he received $400 discount from GALAXY2025
he received $700 discount from CSP (that Samsung member generated voucher or agent voucher $400 ultra + $300 non-ultra
etc…the sales ppl from samsung will be available tomorrow 8AM, you can contact them for help.
u need a new code for the $400/$300 CSP. the samsung agent will be able to generate them.
Hey Guys,
If i cancel my order do i get the 5% of the new purchase again or naa via the app?You can. You need a new Samsung Account.
Original account had made the first purchase. So 5% was used. You cant use this account anymore.
You need to create a new account (any email will do), then you need to UNLINK the education store link from your "original account, assuming it was your education email), and relink it to your new account. New account will be able to get the new 5% discount for new purchases, even if your 'link to the education store is the same university email'
This can be done via Live Chat with the Sales Team. It takes about 2 hours for them to reset and unlink your original account from your university email.
I am using the government portal so I never had to link my email. I used my gov mail for the order
Wow I didn't know Live Chat could unlink education
Hmm without westpac or edu accounts and having to read 27 pages of comments i might do the JB Deal for the s25+ 500gb for $880 or the ultra for $1080
It works out to be very similar in price, so its good either way.
If anyone has $20 eVouhcer to sell please DM me
Theres gotta a culprit/snitch who reported the 'earbud cancelling' method to Samsung!!!! Cancel order will only work for the entire order now.
That method of cancelling accesories to get credit back has been known for the past couple of years, it actually surprised me that Samsung just fixed it this year.
This year they slightly improved it by attaching the 1st accessory to the phone when cancelling the order which made people think it couldnt be cancelled. But then someone found a way out by moving the earbud as the 2nd accessory item in his order.
Any legal experts here? There is an interesting conversation about the Trade-In "fees" / "Admin fees" / "Late fees", they are arguing there is no fees, not $60, zero, you pay nothing if you choose not to send the traded-in phone/item to Asurion.
https://images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/assets/au/term… (version July 2024)
Their main argument is the terms and conditions of the contract is as follows
7.3 Late Returns:
(a) If You return Your Existing Device to Us more than fourteen (14) days but less than
ninety (90) days after the date on which You receive Your New Samsung Device, We will:
(i) accept Your offer to transfer ownership of Your Existing Device to Us (in which
case You enter into a contract with Us for the sale of Your Existing Device to Us
and ownership of Your Existing Device will transfer to Us); and
(ii) charge You a Late Return Fee.You only get charged the late return fee, if you actually "return the item", you cant charge the late return fee if nothing was returned. And 7.3 (a)(i) and (ii) specifically said if you return late more than 14 days but less than 90 days, then you get charged the late return fee.
What does 7.3 (b) says if you return more than 90 days… no mentioned of late return fees will be charged. They don't even want your phone basically, and they will even send it back to you and cancel the transfer ownership.
What does 7.3 (c ) says… if (b) applies, you dont get back your security. Which for some of us is just $1.
What do you think after reading the terms and conditions of trade-in ?
Don't be afraid to use your brain.
🤯
"Which for some of us is just $1."
-How do you get it to $1 ? I can't seem to do any such thing
choose a phone which isn't worth as much, then say it has a cracked screen etc
haha, for the cost of going through small claims court…. and the time wasted just to prove a point, you may as well pay the admin fee…..
Hmm not sure if this is relevant…
I cancelled my earbuds at about 3pm AEST 24-Jan. I noticed some ppl have reported issues cancelling their earbuds even before 3PM. you guys can comment below when you had started experiencing trouble.
Not sure if its relevant, there might be one small thing I did differently from most people, maybe I assume most ppl on this post are Android users. I was using the Shop App on my iPad OS to access Education Store. I cancel in the Shop App on my iPad. I wasnt using Samsung phone/ Android devices/ PC.
Maybe just maybe they only rolled out the fix for Shop App android? Maybe not for OS (not yet) ? Who would have thought there would be many/any ppl using OS/ iPads to buy Samsung phones? just a wild guess
when you successfully cancel the accessory, do you get refunded that amount back to your original card?
No.
I get an email. confirming it has been cancelled. I read somewhere here… someone mentioned funds will come after the delivery of the phone in February.
Yes, refund will come back to your original card used for payment. But it will be refunded after the order is delivered
You must have more than 1 accessory in your order…..!
If i cancel my order, will i be able to reuse my $20 voucher as $100??
yes. it will be $100 value.
Accidentally unpublished instead of editing lol whoops. Was wondering if its also possible to reuse the GALAXY2025 and trade-in code voucher after cancelling the order it was applied to? I'm thinking of cancelling and trying to get three phones instead.
Yes GALAXY2025 can be reused.
The $400 trade-in code, you need to get a new one. The Samsung customer support can generate new codes for you. Alternatively via Samsung Members app.
You will need a different account to get the 5% first purchase again. The account used for your previous purchase is considered to have already made its first purchase. So a different or new account will ensure you get the 5% again.
Maybe you can check how many times the GALAXY2025 code can be applied in a single transaction with multiple phones.
I wonder if you could also stack the 1TB $200 discount code mentioned on page 1.
@Sydney11: Hello mate,
Please help me out. I am trying to cancel my order of s25u and then get a s25u+s25 but i will loose the 5% thing for the goverment portal. Any ways to get it.
Cam i used a shared mailbox at work to create a new acount?@kisshell9: idk about govt portal. i am guessing yes. just try with the new gov email. any issues u can contact Samsung live chat
i was using education store. The 5% first time purchase is linked to my account (email). Which email? It is the email which you received Samsung sends you the Order/Invoice. I just created a new Samsung account and did my new order and get back the 5%.
btw if you wanna know I cancelled my first order after lunch on Friday. 30 minutes later I received a confirmation of refund is being processed. And before end of business day, I received the full refund in my bank account.
@Sydney11: Thanks mate.
Did you also get the refund from the trade-in thing? like The value of the trade in phone which was charged .@kisshell9: I received an SMS from Asurion, they started the process of my refund of $1. They said it will get it about 5 days.
@Sydney11: Awesome! Great help mate.
I guess if nothing works, I will have to just leave the 5% off and re-do the order again
If you were to buy some cases or powerbank and charger, would you still be able to get some discount assuming you used all the vouchers for a phone?
Would you need a new account on app or?
Education stores power banks, cases, chargers are at 40% off. You can use the GALAXY2025 code to offset $200 of accessories.
The new account on Shop app is for those seeking the additional 5% first purchase discount.
So if i get like $250 worthy accessories, it is gonna be $50?
No, the GALAXY2025 code now only offsets $100 of accessories (it was only $200 until 5AM 26/1), so if you order $250 worth of accessories it'll cost you $150.
I can confirm, they’ve completely removed the option to cancel individual items from an order. I tested this by creating a new random order with no promo code and some random accessories, but I could only cancel the entire order, not individual items. The feature likely will be enabled once promo is finished. My test order went through Receive and Order accepted stages, no individual cancel button. Used Edu store, tested on website, iPhone and the Android App.
How many accessories did you add?
How many added from the page after picking Samsung care but before checkout to put in codes?
How many added from the checkout page under the phone via add accessories button?
I had like 4 accessories, no phone, random stuff under $20 each.
thank you for your sacrifice o7
If i dont send in my s24u to Ausrion for $790 and the $60 non return fee and sell it to mobile monster for $1050 wont i be $200 better off?
Any downside to doing this?
Will Ausrion charge me more or ban me?
You want to game the system but are sfraid if the consequences?
Well, this is ozbargain….
They will send bikies knocking on your door.
Jokes on them i live in a boat.
Asurion will charge $790 upfront and will refund when you have returned your device. Technically you don't get $790 savings if you plan not to send your device. You will pay extra $60 for the penalty.
Your phone's IMEI gets blacklisted and can NEVER be traded again by anyone. Throws some random error when trying to trade again the next year.
I think this is not true
Incorect. I used the same phone IMEI for s24 last year and s25 this year.
Did you go through Trade-in app second time? I tried to do it in the past with old A70 which I did not send for s22u purchase and it did not let me proceed.
Yes. You will obviously lose the $790 charged to your card plus a possible $60 non return fee. But still make some better profit on your phone via higher trade in value on Mobile Monster, and preserve the bonus Samsung discount you've locked.
I personally would use Mobile Monster V Asurion as they at least have decent communication channels, and better trade in $$
The whole point is getting your trade in bonuses even if you dont send your devices. You only get charged the cost of device and the 60 fee. Youre better off picking a low value trade in and look up imei for that then sell elsewhere. They wont forfeit the tradein bonuses.
Nearly every Samsung trade in post has someone suggesting this hack. Like seriously.
Go to Google, get an imei for an s8 and chuck that in the Samsung website. Say it's got a cracked screen and the value goes down to $1.
You pay $60 in total to trigger the $400 trade in bonus
$31 for cracked screen and not returned, I believe.
How do we mark it as a cracked screen?
I was using the app for a 5% discount and the minimum that I could lower the price was to about $10. Fiddling with the check box would give me $0 value.
I didn't return the device last year and coped $60 plus device trade value then sold off on MM for better price. Still going fine with trade in this year and doing the same way again…Apparently, there is no $60 non-device returned this year in their T&C, only late return fees so if they charge $60 , I would dispute with paypal
instead of wasting time with a dispute in paypal…. or risking them charging you it. Why not just go into paypal and cancel the authorisation so they cant take the money out? just go into automated payments and find Asuran and cancel it, that way they no longer have permission to debit anything else.
there isnt authorised payment associated with Aurion in my paypal so don't think they would charge $60..if i recall correctly, there wasn't Paypal payment option from last year so they have changed T&C
@BlackorRed: there was in mine.. I cancelled the authorisation
edit: proof for chubbies https://i.imgur.com/kgQkgcW.png
@BlackorRed: didn't do it on app, but on PC. Settings cog -> Payments -> Automatic Payments then click on Asurion and cancel it
Check recent ProductReviews of Mobile Monster. I decided against this option, based on recent reviews.
Probably just fine, but I had a bad experience last year selling a phone and it's put me off potentially losing $740+ dollars.
I might try MobileGuru
Please check your DM
S25 for me. Sizes otherwise are all too big.
True
Does anyone have a $20 voucher for me, please? I missed the boat
Ordered the silver shadow as blue black was oos at the time of ordering. Can i call them to change the colour of the phone?
Also can i return the buds post delivery instead of cancelling the order? I have two accessories but don't want to risk them cancelling the whole order, after returning buds ill be paying $136 for the S25 256gb.
For security they charging TRADEIN VALUE
WHAT IF WE NOT RETURN THEY GONNA CHARGE FULL AMOUNT OR ONLY $60I got charger for security full amount
There are plenty of posts here and it even says on samsung/ asurion site that full trade-in amount will be charged until you send them the traded in phone, following which they will release the security deposit
yes full security amount
you can't just select Z fold 6 1TB to take off $850 and you get charged $60 lol
It is $850 + $60
It looks like you can't partially cancel the order anymore. Does anyone know the return process. Do they charge return postage fee?
No they dont, i find it easier to wait until the order has been delivered, have a chat online and they will make sure you get your postage label and reference number to track the refund.
Thanks for your tips
Return is free. Once delivered you can create a return request. But it takes ages for them to email a label to you and then ages for processing the refund.
How to cancle order
I am getting multiple option of enduser one
Not partial one its come after that? Want to cancle earbudsdo you have a screenshot?

Yes people, Samsung has changed the way you can cancel individual items, even if you were able to do so before with multiple accessories in the same order. You straight away just get the whole order cancellation screen. Contact them to cancel individual items or return them for free, unopened, post delivery.
I contacted them before but wasn't allowed to cancel individual items. Will have to follow the return method.
Has anyone returned items to a store directly?Seems like they were having issues cancelling on their end too. Samsung retail stores and online are totally different companies. You’ll be advised to return via post back to Samsung online if you ordered online.
Thanks!

Can you change the order after it's been made? Wouldn't mind switching to another watch
Return the watch you don’t want when it arrives and make a new order just for watch you now want?
Can someone please tell me how you all get access to EDU/EPP store to get 20% discount and $150 bonus trade-in without actually being in school? I learned somewhere that this is doable but not being explained.
normally you don't need an EDU email to register Samsung Store, just use your normail email address like gmail to register the samsung account,
when you switch to EDU store after log in, the EDU Store portal will ask to verify your edu email, in this case, ask help from your family and friends for EDU email then Samsung will send a verification link to the edu email address.
After verification your gmail and the edu email will be linked together for the edu store eligibilty.
some people use other portals like westpac, commbank, gov, etc… you can search about it on here. Others use their alumni email to access education store https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/879966
Is the 20% discount normal for EPP or is it a promo discount only?
it's normal. the education store, epp, government store etc… is normally 20% discount. but there are other bonuses/ discounts/ promotion in conjunction with this pre-order which you can stack and take advantage of, which offers bigger savings.
Had anyone changed the color of your phone after placing an order? Possible? Ordered the Gray but looking for Black.
I believe you have to cancel the order and re-do it, samsung not great with these kind of chances

5% first time purchaseI think you are only missing the $100 evoucher code pre-purchased for $20.
The "800 odd' I think they meant just the phone. Not the total invoice (phone + accessories)
the "800 add" could be taking into consideration after returning the earbuds, traded-in a higher value phone etc…As for me, the invoice for my Phone alone was $977.
if you minus the cancel of earbuds $977-$170=$807. My was the cheaper earbuds.
if you add the Asurion late/admin fees for not sending the phone (idk some ppl say $60, others dispute the amount, i will put $60 as an example), $20 evoucher cost, $1 deposit = $807+60+20+1
=$888
If you intend to claim back GST, I "think" its $91.. excluding the earbuds, since that portion was returned.
=$888 - $91
= $797 S25 Ultra 512G
@Sydney11: When you cancel the earbuds, you would deduct 170 from the earbuds paid. So 170 - 170 = $0. Your phone is still $977. Then you add on all those Aurison cost and $20 voucher paid. Effective phone cost would be roughly $1,060.
@Sydney11: i don't think cancelling ecosystem items will reduce further. we paid for those in our order just get the refund.
Same. I think it's with $20 limited voucher (which I missed) and decent trade-in value. With $1 (or $10) trade-in, the total sits around ~$12-1300. (That's the best I could get the total down to for S25 Ultra 256GB, still looking for ways to get it even lower)
I saw another someone posted -$100 for Commbank Card (targeted offer for eligible customers). can stack with Samsung offers/promotion
You can't get it for 800
Some people are silly and are including the trade in value of their relatively new phone to make it look like they paid less.Only way i can think of is a decent trade in. Ive tried with westpac and edu, Phone and pc same price range.
Last time i checked it was just over 1100 for 256gb s25u and just over 900 for 256gb s25 plus.
I bought S25U 256GB for $859, plus Buds 3 Pro for $239 with trade in value of $10 for Galaxy Watch 4 plus.
Will return Buds 3 Pro for refund after the order is delivered. That's not true. If I include the trade-in value of my S24U 256GB I can get the S25U 256GB for $168 or the S25U 512GB for $328 (if you exclude the cost of the buds at $179 - probably have to sell them for $120 though).
I have no idea what the point of your comment is.
Yes, if you take into account trade in value of your very recent flagship phone, you will obviously pay less in cash.
Trade in value, except for bonus trade in value, is not a discount if you haven't realised already@dji1111111: You are still wrong! Spend some time figuring it out, instead of being passive aggressive and wrong.
$168 out of pocket + $740 Asurion trade in value is $908. That's literally the price being paid for the S25U 256GB. And if you got $950 from Mobile Monster for your trade in (up until yesterday), the final price out of pocket is lower than $800 I believe
The phone isn't $908 + the value of your trade-in. It's $168 + the value of your trade-in. Is that clear enough?
@dubo1981: Correct me if I'm wrong, but the amount of ~$900 total paid is assuming you are able to refund $200 accesories, right? Lowest that I need to pay is ~$1.1k(which is for for S25U + $200 worth of accesories. The only way I can get close to your value is if I'm able to refund the accessories, which doesn't seems to work anymore from previous comment.
@yummypinacolada: Yes, I am excluding buds from the calcs (but inc the screen protectors I'll keep).
If the buds are unable to be refunded, I'll sell the buds on eBay like I did last year. That reduces the value of them from $179 to about $120.
@dubo1981: How can I be wrong? Please state how to get S25 Ultra for around $800.
LOL passive aggressive? sounds like you are just upset your maths is wonky.
Firstly, your claim of buying the buds 3 and the anti-reflective film doesn't even stack up because the two items add to $198.50, which means the GALAXY2025 code will not work.
Without the $100 voucher, the lowest price possible with $1 trade in and $400 trade in bonus and $200 offset for accessories:
S25 Ultra 256GB $ 968.20
Buds 3 $ 179.40
Silicone Case $ 24.50
Total $1,172.10Even if you were able to return the accessories get a refund, It is still $968.20 for the phone. ($80 less if you have the $100 voucher but it's safe to assume that there are none out there now)
I think you are the one that needs to sit down and really look at your maths because it is completely wrong.
How can the total cost of the phone be $168 (payable after deducting $740 for your S24U) plus the $740 trade in value?
The total cost is $168 plus the market value of S24U you are trading in.
You are trading in the phone at crap value, if you disregard the bonus trade-in amount, which you can access anyway without trading in your S24U.
Assuming it's worth $900 on ebay/facebook marketplace, you are really paying $168+$900 = $1,068.
Valuing the phone is not an accurate science but I can guarantee you will get more for that phone compared to what Asurion is offering.
Even if your maths was correct, which it isn't, it is $908, which is not $800ish so I think you are fighting a losing battle here.
You might as well say you got a $30k Toyota Corolla for $1000 and boast about it after trading in a BMW worth $50k in secondhand market.
That is pretty much your maths in a nutshell.
@dji1111111: Cool story bro. What a poor bitter person spending far too long to rant and add their dodgy maths.
I got the S24U last year and was $200 odd dollars out of pocket (with a $1 trade in and some mad skills), and this year I got the S25U for around $200 out of pocket ($168 if I can return buds). That's fact. You tell yourself whatever fairytale you want on what it's imaginary 'worth' is.
And I got 2x screen protectors genius ;-D
@dubo1981: wow… you need to re-do your maths.. haha
No point trying to educate someone who can't handle simple maths.
I just can't figure out how all the users are getting $1 trade
The best I can do is $30choose an old phone like iphone 8 and then tick screen is broken. Will end up been $1
Oo damn, I bit the bullet. Thanks for the info
How do you get the imei if you dont have the phone? I tried using imei from google images for samsung s8 but it says "imei/Serial no cannot be the same"
Will you actually send the iphone 8? Says if I dont send the trade-in phone or send a different model that I claim, Will they just charge me $60 for late return?
I am being told in the chat we can't stack the $150 with the $400 code. Is that true ?
We can stack it. $150 applies automatically when you add trade-in and $400 with voucher.
Not seeing the automatic $150 teade in bonus?
Where does it show?
Is it in "additional savings*
Yes, the calculation will be in additional savings but you can see the message on top of the trade-in in Blue color saying "$150 Trade-In bonus applies"
@exclusiveJeet: And you can see in the blue text while ordering what kind of bonuses are applied to your order, If you don't see a $150 trade-in bonus in blue, then try again.
There are two listings of the same phone on the education store in the Samsung Shop app. Make sure you click on "(Samsung.com only)"
@harryaus: Could it be that the 150 trade in is only for Education store?
Normal store and other EPP stores dont show it?
Stop spamming requesting for codes. It's already on the top page in bold that there's a section for that.
AFAIK you can stack EDU 20% off pricing with retailer/samsung staff EPP 40% code, they may have removed this however i knew someone who stacked all their offers + trade in etc and got the s24 ultra for $699.
if any of you know someone who works at a retailer who sells these phones give this a go!Thanks, will ask Gerry.
My total order came to $1108 for an S25U with Galaxy Buds Pro 3. I used the EDU store link in the deal, plus traded in an S21U (base trade in was only $260). Stacked the $150 trade in bonus and a $400 trade in bonus from the pre-registration email. Also used the $200 voucher for the buds (needed a minimum $200 purchase which is why I went for the Pro buds) to get those for around $40. The trade in stacks do work and are automatically applied once you add the device details for the trade in.
Anyone selling their $20 voucher? Willing to pay $30 for it.
How about $50? You save $50, and I make $30.
Hi guys, just cancelled my order as I am staying with my 23 ultra for now. If any wants my $20/$100'voucher - happy to exchange for original price.
Thanks for all the responses - code has now been transferred.
These prices are pretty much what they will be for most of the time throughout the year after preorder. If you are paying anymore than this, especially if you have access to the EDU store, you aren't trying at all. After a very long time sole Samsung user, I am over it and they don't deserve my money for the hoops they make you go through..
24U was hovering around $1700 a month ago, which proves you wrong!
Look at the 24U post history. Often around $1700, exactly the same price as this 'preorder' deal.

But I just bought an S25 U 500G for like $1250, Only thing I traded in was my Samsung Watch 4, which is like $50 :)
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/826809
The pre-order S24 Ultra was cheapest at pre-order
You could return the accessories as well and a galaxy watch via the jotform
that was worth about $400 at the time at least. No other deal came close.
Not true, if there was any decent deal for s24 ultra, I would buy instead of s25 ultra. You can get some trade in bonus but will never get $200 accessories voucher, $400 voucher and storage upgrade again.
But this is a post for the S25. Not the S24.
So? Bought s25 ultra 512 gb for $976
People who are facing trouble finding $150 additional trade-in bonus. There are two listings of the same phone in the education store in the Samsung Shop app. Make sure you click with something like "(Samsung.com only)"
But the 150 might only be an Education store deal and not in the other EPP stores?
FYI. there is no option to cancel individual accessory any more.
Can't cancel but i think you may be able to return it for refund. Not sure if they have made any changes recently but i was able to do it back in the day when i got my s22u
S25 Ultra 512gig with Watch 7 BT 44mm and trading S20FE for $95
Your $100 Galaxy eVoucher+ has been
applied!
Voucher applied! $200 eVoucher
discount.
$150 Trade-In bonus applied.
Voucher applied! $400 Trade-In bonus.Total price paid for phone and watch >> $1293
Are you the one all OzB hacks with Samsung for them to close the loopholes haha..
Hi folks, I have access to corporate EPP (not education or government), and have never purchased anything from the Samsung Shop app before (have purchased previously via EPP web portal). I am not able to find a way to log in to the EPP portal on the Shop app (it only gives the options for Education and Government). Has anyone figured out how to log into the shop app using the corporate EPP access?
You can't.
How can I use the 5% discount on the first app order stacked with the corporate EPP discount then?!
You cant. Only edu has this option
I got the same issue using myunidays discount but i couldnt access the app through it…. I placed the order without thr 5% app discount unfortunately
Don't think it's possible with Unidays.
Anyone else having issues with payment on the EPP site?
I've tried different cards, logged in on different devices / browsers, cleared cache but it doesn't let me pay for the phone at the end of checkoutDid u try paypal?
Yep tried paypal as well but it seems to get stuck when it goes to load the paypal window
Had a lot of issues with my and my mums westpac cards. Eventually paid with macquarie debit. My westpac cards were working fine the day before
Managed to get it to work eventually, had to use another account with a different email address. So there wasn't actually wrong with the payment methods just something wrong with my account
Amazing…all the way to final payment screen via Edu store to realise I was unable to use my $150 in Samsung Rewards. No sale.
Now to get my money back from Asurion ugh.
Mobile monster trade in for s24u plummeted from $950 to $600 over the course of 2 days. Insane. Anyone know how long before i need to drop off the phone to mobile monster? My phone doesnt ship until 13 Feb.
@OZcheepsk8
how long u guys gonna wait to sell the current phone.. so prices don't drop too much more
I placed the order on two websites already. Will cancel later if not used just to lock in prices now. Worst case scenario ill be a week without a phone or buy a cheap one from woolies
@OZcheepsk8: I just placed one with mobileguru - can drop it off within 14 days in Melb (and they do a cosmetic assessment on the spot).. so that's handy. Reckon I should have the phone by then
Are they reliable? Have had any personal experience selling to them?
Read a comment yesterday saying they are great and he had used them three times. Now I can't find this comment.
Ace thanks. I placed an order with these guys too as a backup option
the s24 base is still 650 for mint, and 610 for working @ Mobile Monster
May I ask how does it work when you already given your IMEI and identification details to Asurion, I assume the S24U for the trade-in bonus for the new S25U pre-order, can you "sell" your phone to Mobile Monster/ Mobile guru etc…?
I didnt use it for asurion. But yes you can still use same imei for mobile monster i suspect. Ive done it begore
Anyone had their samsung online exclusive colours ship early in prior years vs estimated date?
Negative
Yep, mine last year (light blue) was shipped before the ETA on the 5th Feb. Closer to the date of the regular colours, than the online only colours.
Cheers. Good to know. Mine is on 13th and a week after the last date i need to sell my phone to mobile monster
I ordered Jet Black one, showing ships from 6th Feb.
Z Fold6 last year in an exclusive colour was meant to ship 20/09…I had it by 02/09. Few weeks early
I remember one of the exclusive colours got delayed last time… Hopefully it doesn't happen with the jet black. My order ship from date is 06 Feb.
I don't think it's possible to return Samsung exclusive online products - so it might be better to get standard model instead?
Why would i return the phone?
We probably won't need to. The only reason might be if they don't allow returning the 200$ accessories it ships with. They so far have stopped allowing partial-cancels.
Hi guys, how to get Additional $200 trade-in for 1TB S25 Ultra ?TIA
Ask chat but the code only works on normal store.
U didnt get additional discounts with 1tb, its al the same $400 off
How many phones can i buy with this offer?
2
Is this confirmed that two is the max? I've purchased two in the one order which caused the GALAXY2025 voucher and the trade-in bonuses to double, but didn't have the foresight to test if adding a third to cart would cause it to triple.
just try to buy another one for my friend. but galaxy2025 can only be used once. so is the $20 evoucher. and i am not getting the $150 trade-in bonus either.
I guess i will have to get another account.
Are you saying you entered a different $20 eVoucher to the one you entered for the first purchase and it wouldn't accept it?
Did u find any way to get 150$ discount?
So i walked into JB HiFi today to check out the S25U in person. IMO it looks great and quite premium in titanium and with the rounded edges! I had it in my cart online, was looking around a $600 changeover for my S24U, but decided to hold off last minute and didn't proceed. I think it's a neat revolution, but ultimately I want to go down the fold phone route next, and eager to see what the Fold 7 brings. If it has S Pen support, I'll be all in.
Spent the $600 on a Lobster dinner and pair of Sony Ult Wear headphones instead 😀
Thanks for letting us know.
Gotta sort out prioritity in how to spend money.
For me personally, after all the code stacks/cancellation and trade in, it costs me $150 to swap from s24u to s25u.
Was the upgrade necessary? No.
Did it make some financial senses? Yes.
Hear me out;
- After a year of using my s24u, a battery refresh cost $99.
- Another year of staying on s24u, the trade in value will depreciate to $600 (curent value for S23U)
- a new phone with better battery and better resell for only $150 is too good to be missed.
- this echos with my previous comment with many upvote that the new s25u will cost $1.1k out of pocket. The trade in with codes and other hacks made this deal 400+ votes for valid reasons.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16169046/redirHow did it cost you $150??
Agreed. This was how I decided to upgrade as well. Currently, the S23U 256GB is worth $200 less than the S24U 256GB. I'll be about $200 out of pocket upgrading from the S24U 256GB today.
So potentially this year's upgrade to the S25U is close to free, assuming I upgrade next year also. If I skipped upgrading this year and went from S24U to S26U in 2026, I'm guessing I'd be $400 out of pocket. Now that I've upgraded to the S25U, I'm expecting to be about $200 out of pocket in 2026.
You're missing the fact that if you don't skip the upgrade in 2025 you will be $200 out of pocket for 2025 and $200 out of pocket in 2026, so $400 out of pocket whether you upgrade to the s25 or skip it.
@CodeXD: That's not like for like though, you've downgraded and sacrificed half your storage. Fine if you don't need it, but it would have cost you about $400 to upgrade to the same phone 2 gens newer.
same… i told my finance that 2700… pfffft fk that…
then i saw this thread/did the sumsand would end up paying ~1250 for the 1TB s25 ultra… thats a sweet deal…
usually my phones last 3-5 years but the jump from 23 to 25 should be noticable with the AI and new snapdragon elite…
I think if you factor in returning or cancelling accessories its free
I kind of have factored that in. If I can return them I'm $168 out of pocket for the year, if I sell them on eBay I'll be just over $200 out of pocket.
Also worth noting, there's no guarantee Samsung will offer the same generous upgrade offer in 1,2,3 years. So while I don't need this upgrade, I'm maximising the future trade-in value of my 'asset'.
May I ask regarding the Shop App 5% first purchase? Did you have that last year for S24U 5% discount? Does this first purchase 5% resets every year? or once you purchased with it last year 2024 for S24U …. you cant get another 5% discount for SU25 ?
The 5%, which AFAIK is tied to the email you made purchase, once only. I purchased s24u last year with the 5%.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16201639/redir
I did exactly the same thing and swapped a family members S23U 512GB, and it was $400 to swap. However, do bear in mind s23u 512gb was ~$250 more in 2023 compared to base 256gb.
Therefore, the depreciation and memory downgrade is a $650 lost. If factoring s23u 256gb trade in, its about $450, moral of this storytelling; dont spend more on storage unless you need it.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16201249/redir
Agree here, there is no guarantee next years pre-order will be as good. Profiteering is the goal of all businesseses, why would they made them cheaper if more people are still buying themselves even with cost of living crisis (this years observation so far)
I hear you. I am still torn.. its in for order on the EDU store, and then I heard about the S Pen and no more 10x camera (thought they would fix that).
I do like it a touch lighter.. might still get it, but on fence
$150 Trade-In bonus not adding up in my cart . anyone have a same problem ???
Check blue lines near by your added phone in the cart. It is mentiond that $150 added as a trade in.
I know the GALAXY2025 code can only be used once per account and I know the $20 eVoucher is limited to one per transaction, but does anybody know if an account can use a different $20 eVoucher on the second transaction? Say I've purchased 2 x $20 eVoucher codes. I used one in the first transaction. Can I use the second one in another transaction? The wording from this comment:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16200860/redir
make it sound like I can't.
$20 you can use on another trasaction on the same account but you will not get $100 second time.
But you can login through different email address the. You can use that and will get $100.
$20 you can use on another trasaction on the same account but you will not get $100 second time.
Are you saying I will only get $20 on the second transaction?
No
You said you have 2 $20 voucher?
If YesThen login and use xyz email to order and use one voucher.
Then delete cache of your browser and login with different email address and use 2nd voucher.
why not create a new account?
I would but I only have one nephew with an edu.au email.
it's ok. it can be done.
You are not understanding how Samsung works. There is something called Samsung Account.
You can create unlimited Samsung Accounts. This is your account. It can be any email… doesnt matter.
Then the education email account is just a KEY to allow you to enter into the Education Store. Many Samsung Accounts can use the same KEY (only one at a time though). All you need to do is ask Samsung to unlink the Key….to your first Samsung Account. Tell them you want a new Samsung Account now… and you want to use that Key for this new Samsung Account.
takes 2 hours for Samsung Orders (live chat) team to unlink/reset the account, severing the link to the edu.au. So you can relink to a a new Samsung Account.
@Sydney11: Thanks for that. I asked about this on the thread earlier, but no one was able to tell me if it was possible to unlink/reset the account.
takes 2 hours for Samsung Orders (live chat) team to unlink/reset the account, severing the link to the edu.au. So you can relink to a a new Samsung Account.
Yikes, 2 hours is a long time.
Many Samsung Accounts can use the same KEY (only one at a time though). All you need to do is ask Samsung to unlink the Key….to your first Samsung Account. Tell them you want a new Samsung Account now… and you want to use that Key for this new Samsung Account.
Is it possible that instead of being just a key the edu email is an account in itself? Mine doesn't appear to be linked to any other Samsung account and seems to be standalone. Trying to use it while signed into any other Samsung account just errors out.
@niyiaw: yes possible. edu.au email can itself be an account.
It has to be a new Samsung Account (edu.au email) linked to your edu.au email.
It has to be a new Samsung Account (edu.au email) linked to your edu.au email.
Sorry you lost me there. Are you saying I can't link my current edu email account to a non edu account?
@niyiaw: you can do it either way.
You need to understand how Samsung Account works. One university email can only be linked to one Samsung Account at any one time. If you want that same university email account to be link to another Samsung Account, you need Samsung to reset/ delink/ unlink or severe the link, then you can rellink to any Samsung Account you want.
Read page 24
@Sydney11: too late today. i tried this afternoon they said the account team don't work on weekends. and the galaxy2025 code will be reduced today.
@elvislj: The Accounts team is different from the Order team live chat. I went through the Order team (they should be part of Sales), they helped me to delink.
I spoke to the Accounts team too, I had to call them (I think they are in Philippines)… they can help with relinking if you have trouble. But you dont really need help in 're-linking', if they unlink it correctly. Relinking is easy… just type in the university email. As long as that university email is not linked to any other Samsung Account, it should work.
I had the impression the Order team/ Sales team works everyday Monday to Sunday 8am - 8pm. The Service team (technical stuff…) works 24 hours, everyday.
i cannot be 100% sure. It is a public holiday in Australia after all… idk.
Use westpac or other reward portal for second voucher.
I spoke to Samsung Customer Service on live chat. They tell me that I can use the second $20 eVoucher on the second transaction on the same account and it will be worth $100. Take that for what it's worth.
if you dont use the second code, let me know ;) looking to get one as something went wrong with my order, i lost the code and can't use it anymore
Sorry, I ended up using my second code in the second transaction.
looking to get one as something went wrong with my order, i lost the code and can't use it anymore
Have you tried chatting with Samsung Customer Service on live chat? They might be able to generate a new code for you.
wasted hours in 2 days with them :) the $400 code is easy to get. The problem is the $20 voucher. At first they said they fixed it so I can reuse it after 24 hours. 1 day later, they said I have to wait until the order is canceled (money was charged, no order was made, so i doubt it would be ever usable again).
Has anyone sold their overseas bought phone on Mobile Guru or Mobile Monster? I know it says on website that they have right to reject the phone purchased overseas. But they have also mentioned that they may offer an option of lesser value.
I just had a chat with Samsung and they said they dont accept trade in phones purchased from overseas.
When I bought my last phone in 2022 (S22 Ultra), I traded my Note 9 which I bought from overseas. Had no issues then.
Did you do it on Samsung website? They just told me overseas phones are not accepted. Our both (S23U & S22+) are Canadian models.
Yes on Samsung EPP site and sent the old phone to Asurion.
So the cancellation trick doesnt work anymore? :(
In too late, oh well. If they are denying partial cancellations in chat, they could deny a return postage for the buds in the future too saying it was a "bundle deal".
This might be the case as otherwise they'll be flooded with returned Buds. Oh well, guess they'll be all over Facebook marketplace.
After reading through all 30 pages of comments here, I’m still confused and unsure about the best steps to pre-order the Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB. Things seem to have changed rapidly, with some codes and tactics being cancelled recently.
If you successfully pre-ordered the phone today, could you please share:
- What steps you followed?
- What discounts you were able to stack?
- What final price you arrived at?
I’ll be using the Samsung Education Store, I have a Galaxy S10 to trade in, and I can also claim the first-time app discount since I’ve never used it before.
Many thanks.
Same here! I just want the 256gb S25 and have an s20fe to trade-in. Whats the best possible price for this currently? Thanks in advance.
From memory the S20FE 128gb is $95 and the 256gb is $105. I traded my S20FE 128gb last night.
Alot of people are quoting on there the final price they paid on a trade in, which can be super misleading.
I am currently getting a S25+ 256gb for $626.29.EDU Portal
$1 trade in value with no intention on paying any admin fees.
$100 evoucher
$200 evoucher
$100 trade in bonus
$300 trade in bonus
5% off first in app purchase
you didn't read any of the 30 pages… DID YOU?! ;)
Use the Samsung Shop App, once you're in make sure to switch it over to the Edu store, add your phone, add your trade-in details and $200 worth of accessories. Then add 3x promo codes (GALAXY2025, $100 code bought for $20, and $400 trade-in bonus). That's the best price.
Yes, I read all 30 pages indeed. However, I’m still unclear about some things. For instance, the "$100 code bought for $20" seems to be expired by now. Also, buying a bunch of accessories worth $200 seems risky, especially given the numerous comments about cancellations being impossible and the potential for Samsung to reject refund requests after delivery. What am I missing here?
I just used that voucher 2 hours ago. It is still valid. The terms were 72 hours from start of pre-sale I believe.
Re accessories, sell the buds on eBay or Marketplace if you can't return them.
Thank you @dubo1981! But isn’t it too late to buy this voucher now? The corresponding OzB page says that it’s expired.
the $20 for $100 eVoucher purchase link is expired already..
If anyone has some left over $20 to $100 evouchers or if you decided to cancel please DM me. Happy to pay for it :)
Anyone who has trade in value 1$ planning to send the old phone or ignore it?
How do you trade in $1 value?
Its a s10plus with cracks but fully working. I chat with someone from samsung they saying if you dont send the phone your trying to trade in they will locked out the s25 ultra your trying to buy. Kinda stupid.
LOL what a joke XD
@CodeXD: Got a good deal but after this customer service I kinda want to cancel my order. My s10+ is working well and kinda ridicilulous Im get a 1$ from it.
Ask them to provide you the T&C where it says that. Funny joke indeed!
I wonder how many people will be listing it on eBay? Those that got it for around 1000 to 1200
More likely on facebook marketplace. I'm wondering what they'll sell for, already bought two and considering getting a third.
How much did you get it for?
First two S25 Ultra 512GBs I got for around $1025 each, once I return the earbuds. The third one will cost about $1150 if I decide to go for it.
@PimpButters: How were you able to buy multiple phones? Did you use a different Samsung Education or Rewards portal login for each phone?
@PimpButters: I got greedy and forfeited my chance to get one for around $700-800. Bought one at the usual EPP discount available to the general public like most others here. For some reason my cart saved with coupons after purchase and allowed me to use my 50% coupon as well. I thought I'd try stack the $400 coupon as well and that's when it fell apart. Lost my Galaxy2025, $20 for $100 as well. Still eating away at me but still happy with what I paid. The 50% voucher isn't worth using without stacking with all the other promos
@Sydney11: I wonder if it is the same as every year…. that Samsung EPP telco portals (e.g. telstra, vodafone etc) get 40-50% off.
@lplau: Telco staff getting 50% off code this time from Samsung. I confirmed with my friend who works at Vodafone.
@Avi0001: how can i get an unused code. is it a generic code? surely not everyone is a samsung fan…. there must be some iphone fans there…
@Sydney11: From Telco employee if someone is your friend.
What I beleive Vodafone & Telstra employee will get 50% off code but I am not sure about Optus.@Avi0001: Yes 50% code is for telco employees who complete training. Cannot be used by anyone else as you need access to the telco EPP store.

Hey guys,
Thanks a lot, paid $364.99 for S25 256 GB and $227.43 for Buds 3 Pro.
I just bought Buds 3 Pro, because I could use GALAXY2025 code.
Is there a way to cancel Buds 3 Pro or return it when I get it?
Any tips/ideas? :D
I am new in trade in and don't want send my old mobile. What should I do?
Thanks in advanceDo nothing
Will I get charged 60 dollar or more
If I don't trade in I will not get 400 and 150 trade in bonusYou get all the bonuses they just keep the value of your phone if you do not send it in.
select that the phone has cracked screen… or a watch etc $1-10 item…
u may be charged $30 for non return item though… its asurion… it can be a coin flip…$150 bonus credit
you're still ~$119 clear@spoonmugen: @spoonmugen where do you select cracked screen? I do not see any such option. And the minimum value which I see in phone and watch dropdowns, is $10, I don’t see any $1 trade-ins. What’s the downside of selecting $10 item? Thanks.
@Shahw: after you select the phone… it'd ask you the condition of the phone or item.
i dont know if it drops it down toe $1 or not…
doesnt even matter… u'll pay either samsung or asurionif its $10 -this comes off ur upfront price to samsung
but then you pay $10 to asurion…
if its $150 same thing…
Not sure. I talk to samsung they say they will locked out your new phone if you dont send the phone you put as trade in. Kinda stupid.
You must have got drunk customer service rep 😆
They can't actually lock you out of your new phone as that is against the law since they don't own the phone.
You will just lose the security deposit + potentially an admin fee on top.Not sure why people keep asking about the admin fee…. They may or may not charge you $60 or $30, but overall it is generally on par or cheaper than other methods of buying this phone….. If you can't afford another $30 or $60 on a $800+ phone then maybe you should not be buying the phone at all.
I actually dont mind paying 60$ for keeping my s10+ instead of losing it for 1$, but I might send it in the end of the day as I used my credit card to buy the phone.
It happens in the USA but likely hasn't been introduced to Australia yet.
Samsung and Asurion are different entity. so i doubt Samsung have anything to do with trade ins since Asurion charge a deposit for trade in
May I ask how to get the $400 trade in voucher?
Samsung Members app
https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-news/members-excl…or just contact Samsung customer support, ask them to generate one for you
Can someone please save me some time in reading the 30 pages.
Ive managed to get EDU access
Ive got the 5% off from the app
Ive got the bonus $400 trade in
Ive got $1 trade in for a phone i do not even hsve
I think ive lost $150 trade in bonus, cant see it listed anymore.
I missed the $20, $100 voucherCan anyone confirm that if i fail to send a phone in ill be charged $60 only?
Also are we canceling extra accessorie and leaving just 1 in the hopes we will get a refund after delivery but not guaranteed?
Might even be charged only $30 for the phone as it is under $10 value, but it is very unlikely that Samsung will revoke the trade-in bonuses as they have never done this before. That's the consensus here based on previous deals.
I don't think it's possible to cancel accessories anymore without cancelling the entire order. I think a lot of people will attempt to return them once received.
1) "View all" comments
2) Ctrl/Command+F
3) Search for "cancel"
4) Search for "$150"My touchscreen mobile just had a heart attack
Then you don't deserve the benefits that everyone has spent time to provide.
probably nothing at all.
there is no Administration Fee $60 for not returning the device in the latest T&C
The only thing about $60 is Late Return Fee, means a fee of up to $60 which may be charged by Asurion if you fail to post in your Existing Device within fourteen (14) days after receiving Your New Samsung Device to your nominated delivery address. This fee is non-refundable.
But you are actually not returning it at all.
No Administration keyword in the latest T&C https://images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/assets/au/term…
Thank you
I'm thinking of keeping the earbuds, might come in handy on the plane instead of the over ear bose ones I use now. are the samsung buds 3 pro any good? or should I return and get some other brand. seem to be a lot of people returning them. just want to see if they are recommended or not
Can't beat over ear with noise cancellation especially for flights. Ok for commuting on public transport for convenience
I'm planning to try them out and if they don't fit well, I'll sell them used. Reviews seem a bit mixed but depending on your fit it seems the sound and anc is decent. Battery life doesn't seem long enough to use in for flights - I think one youtuber said they got around 4.5hrs use without changing settings. Anyway it was only like $40 out of pocket so that's worth it to try out I reckon. Looking for something to replace my Sony Linkbuds S which keeps stuttering when I'm just walking around in the city. Doesn't happen with my Samsung Buds Live so 🤞
Kept falling out of my ears, tried all the included sizes. Switch to foam tips and all good.
Are you still looking for a code?
Hey guys, i was stressing so much because i had to cancel my order so thought i would lose 5% off but looks like even that is still available if you have canceled the 1st order. Atleast thats wats happening on mine.
Anyone having issues logging into the education store? Ive been struggling to get in to purchase for the past 5 hours
I am having at the check out on the app with EPP selected. I cant get any (fake) imei accepted. Even tried ipad mini but its not taking serial number.
Why not use your current phone's IMEI? You don't have to choose your actual phone. I selected s8 to trade in and gave them s7 IMEI
I have got a S23U and S22+. Didnt want to put original imei's for not sending the phones. Not sure if they are actually going to block phones for not sending lol
Are you using a proper IMEI generator? Random digits won't do because there's a checksum (well actually you'll get lucky occasionally!). Choose your make & model ! https://www.imei.info/iphone-imei-generator/
Yeah, random digits didnt work. I put my watch 4 with its S/no and Ipad mini 4 with some random s/no from google images. I got $15 for watch and $10 for ipad. Didn't even bother bringing them down to $1 as I was trying to checkout for past 1.5 hrs. Bought two Samsung S25 ultra's 512 giggs for $2234.21.
Someone pls give a imei for Lowest price item pls eo i can trade in
This was suggested above: choose a device that doesn't have IMEI like a watch or an iPad WiFi.
I selected watch -> Galaxy Watch 4 Bluetooth (no sim, so no IMEI) as a trade-in device, entered a random alphanumeric serial number, and then got my $1 trade-in code. I also ticked that it had screen issues or something like that to reduce the value. This is a good tip. Although the random imei generated approach should be fine?
Random IMEI - sounds fine to me, if it's accepted by Asurion.
How is everyone getting trade in for $1. I can see $10 is minimum. Also do we need to provide a IMEI number to do trade-in? Will the IMEI number gets banned if i wont send the device?
Thank you in advance.
At checkout you need to go through the trade in process and pick damaged screen etc and the value reduces.
does it matter… you'll pay $9 more on the phone to samsung vs $9 more to asurion? because of the deduction…
Is it "safe" to trade in one device s24u >s25u, and for the second one provide generated imei s10 imei (not return)> s25+.., in one order
why do u want to trade in S24u with Asurion?
you will get better value with mobile guru
Too much hassle? I.e., I just checked fb , there are so many s24u s23u s22u for sale out there(( not sure tho
u get less value with trade in. i am planning to sell to mobile guru s24U $950
@Aemit: Do you think mobile guru will reduce the mobile price by the time before getting the s25u delivered. In my case I'm planning to by right now and the estimated delivery is 20th of Feb?

Typically, yes, its really easy.

If you're not planning on trading in a phone, it's most cost effective to bring down your trade-in value.
Which phone are you "trading in" ?
I did a broken s21 to get it to $10. Some people here got it down to $1.
S10 gives only 300 bonus and $1 value if damaged, so i guess s21 is bettet - $400 and $10 )
Wow
they fixed it today. can't do that anymore
Thanks OP and everyone. I got 2 of the 25s ultra 256 at about $865 each after all the codes + tips
I created a ozb login just to say thanks!
How did you manage to get it so low? Does this include returning the accessories later on and also the Aurison no return fees for each?
I put in my S23 as the trade in device with all the defects getting it down to $60 trade in value. Is there an actual difference between this or a $1 trade in device after fees and everything? Or is it just where the discounts are being applied?
Select ipad 4 mini wifi version to tradein and look up for s/no on google images. You can bring it down to $10, plus if you select your ipad has a damaged screen, it will bring the trade-in cost to hard earned $1.
To answer your question, doesn't matter what you trade-in, the bonus applied is still $150 +$300or$400
I already did it but I'm just curious after the fact. If you do this, you only get $1 trade in discounted off the phone, or $60 in my case. I guess the better question to ask is
A: They keep the trade in value on the order + keep the security deposit fee + charge non return fee
B: They take away the trade in value off the order + keep security deposit fee + charge non return fee
C: They keep trade in value on the order + return the security deposit fee + charge non return fee
I couldn't have worded that worse if I tried but I hope you understand what I'm asking.
the security deposit Asurion charged cancels out the trade in value, so Samsung wont deduct the value further.
if u dont return device, Asurion will keep the security deposit and charge you further $60 non return fee.
hurry up guys! the galaxy2025 code will go down to $100 in less than 8 hours :D
for who buying more than 1, the galaxy2025 code and $300/400 code will be multiplied with the number of your s25 in the cart. Just need to add accessories to $200 once (so one pair of buds will do)i can't use galaxy2025 anymore, i think it can only be used for one time per user account.

A good reminder for all planning to order an S25 series phone. This is why I made sure to order tonight.
Cries and hodls with his S21 ultra. Legit tho, everything is perfect except for the camera focus issues. Hopefully I can keep disputing it with Samsung support until I get a sizable discount on the new phones.
Good luck with Samsung support… you'll need it.
Get the s25 ultra 512 gb with ear buds pro and sell the s21 ultra and the bud pro and hopefully you will not have to pay much to get an upgrade after 4 years?
I am doing and upgrade from s22+ and very intersted in winlator development and linux support for 8 elite.
I'm looking at a $362 upgrade to go from a S23 128GB that I bought for ~$400 back in october 2023 to a S25 Ultra 256GB after fees and accessories return + selling old device. Not too bad.
Hi everyone, firstly thanks to everyone on this page that helped gather and work out stacking all discounts etc.
I think i have found a loophole/hack, whatever you may want to call it with the GALAXY2025 code. You can use each code once, but the codes are case sensitive. So if you have used GALAXY2025, you can use try galaxy2025 (note lowercase) and you can get the discount again and vice versa if you have already use galaxy2025, then try in caps GALAXY2025.
I tried it and it worked on mine, feel free to try and report back.
Edit: i was also able to use my second $20 for $100 evoucher as well and it worked for the full $100.
Can anyone confirm this?
Confirmed lowercase "galaxy2025" works
Maxium 3 codes can be used, if you are using $400 Trade-in code + $20 code + GALAXY2025, and you could not use any other code. Correct me if I am wrong
The best offer so far through Westpac Offer (I think).

I would love to thanks this community as also i got the deal for the S25 ultra 512GB for $1128.20 deducted all the trade etc. under Samsung edu portal.
NOTE: Remember that the $200 eVoucher for accessories is valid until 5AM 26/1.
Question thinking about cancelling order which I have already made and not trading in my s23 to either gift it or resell to someone else instead. If I have already gone through the trade with Asurion and deposited $390 as the trade in value security deposit, what happens now if I then cancel my order with Samsung will Asurion return this fee or is it too late?
Also can I reuse my 20>100 evoucher once the order is cancelled? Someone suggested above possibly duplicating it anyways using lower case instead?
You had 390 deducted from the cost of the phone. Youll have paid a fee of 390 to asurion netting you off at 0. Then they will charge you an admin fee of $60. Not losing out by much, $30 loss tops imo
Yeh but I have paid Asurion the $390 already and have paid Samsung the net difference. If I cancel now won't Samsung just refund what I paid them only, my question is will Asurion also refund that amount? Ie will I even get my trade in value back if I cancel now?
But why cancel? Whats your objective?
@OZcheepsk8: Trading in something for $1 instead so I don't lose the $390 deposit if I don't actually intend to trade in any more.
@buyerbee: But that'll mean paying that amount to Samsung instead. If you were going to keep the phone why go through the hassle?
@paisedo: Oh sorry you're both right I've been conceptualising it wrongly. Forgot I've already saved on the trade in reduction itself so no point to cancel then, my bad. Silly me. For some reason got it into my head I should redo the order. Was considering redoing it with a tablet accessory though too instead shrug.
Finally placed my order with all discount codes:

Seems like the shipping now forecasted to 13th Feb, was previously 6th Feb. Hope it arrives earlier.
Mine is showing 20th of feb since I ordered the jet black. Hopefully they do ship earlier.
Think it as a popular colour. Mine is on 13th. People who ordered earlier are saying the 6th on theirs
Yeah seems like it is the most popular. Maybe should've locked the jade green for the faster delivery lol. Should only be an extra week or two.
@rlytoasti: Yea jet black was showing shipping date of 20th of feb when i was checking out my order yesterday around 6.30pm.
The other black, white and grey were 6th of feb and the rest were 13th of feb.
I ordered jet black too on 23rd Jan at 9pm.
Mine showing shipping shipping from 6th Feb.
Is the $150 trade in bonus expired now? Can't see it apply in cart.
$150 trade in bonus offer ends 14 Feb. I believe it's only on Edu/EPP store, not the main store.
Ah, you're right. Somehow ended up on the main store. Thanks!
Just put through an order. Now the ship date is 20 Feb.
Jet black colour?
Not sure how this worked but by trading in two phones and buying two S25 it felt like a deal
$1035 for
- 2x s25
- 2x screen protectors
- 2x cases
- Galaxy buds pro- traded in an S22 $245 and s20 5g for $105
Missed that - thought I had a whole day
Is the GALAXY2025 code still working? Or expired?
Working but value reduced to $100
GALAXY2025 code reduced to $100 in my cart now. Thought i had more time, ah well.
You snooze you loose.
Haha, yeah….didn't have access to education site till half hour ago. Got the other benefits now though.
It's still a great deal mate. I missed out on the $20/$100 voucher.
@Redhawkz: We're even then 😁
I say for for it, unless your current phone will last another year. I felt it was time to let my S20FE go.
did anyone experience this ?
"I understand you want to cancel your Galaxy Buds 3. Unfortunately, you cannot cancel your order because you used a promotional e-voucher for your purchase."
How do I cancel then please ?Wait for order to be delivered, you can then create a return and send the Buds 3 Pro back for a refund.Thats what everyone will do as Samsung closed this loophole for cancellation of individual items in the order.
Just got the voucher
