                  @furythree: Look at tablet accessories. Closest I got to $350 was the S9 Ultra book cover + S24 Ultra clear gadget case + KD Lab CORE Tempered glass for Galaxy Watch 6 44. I think it was about $360 and converts into around $285 in refunds

                      @furythree: when your payment goes through. go to your order page. sometimes its awaiting approval (you need to wait until its order accepted). If it goes through and is immediately order accepted, you can cancel order, then select the accessories to cancel whilst leaving the phone and samsung care

    Thanks for the tip regarding cancelling the accessories! I wish I knew this previously as I've been buying the Fold and S Ultra every year but didn't know this trick.

    $1182 (no EDU discount sadly) for the S24 Ultra 512gb after $5 trade-in of my Gear S3 Frontier watch. Been using the Fold 3/4/5 and was starting to get RSI from the weight. Hopefully I don't regret changing form factor

      Also the $350 voucher is just Galaxy AI and the second one you dont "use" it automatically applies

        It must be the Education Store/Government Store and you must be using the public store @furythree?

        In the discounted stores, the 512GB model is at the regular price - not at the same base price as the 256GB model (before the 20% discount). I'm not sure how they got it so far down to $651, though!

          i am so confused. i have an educational account

          when i went through the checkout one more time (this time on the website to ensure it was education store) instead of the shop app, i added the same items and discounts

          and it came down to the same price.

          but i can confirm the website does show different 256 and 512 pricing as you said. but for the 512, post discount total was the same as i got in the app (i was after the 512 anyway, just confused how that guy got it sub 1k, he must be including trade in because if you add the 330 back to 651 it pretty much is the difference between 256 and 512 models)

          i didnt know and bought it using retail

        The double memory isn't offered on the EDU store so the 256gb model is available to purchase.

        When the accessory vouchers are applied ($150 and $200) for some reason the shopping cart reduces the prices of all the items to reflect the value of the voucher. I don't know why Samsung does it that way but you can basically ignore the cost of the phone. I'm essentially paying $891 for the phone and getting everything else for free.

          Samsung reduces the cost across the card based on value of goods and making it prorated.

          That's so the discount doest apply to only certain items and people would obviously be able to delete the other making certain items realistically free.

          Granted i wanted the 512 model. the total should be only 150-200 more than yours.

          mine came down to 1559 less tradein value of phone

          so if you make all other things the same i think my educational discount isnt applying properly

          The website clearly says 20% off though. so i am super confused

          it says:

          im unsure how the 1125 came to be. but stacking 350 tradein bonus + 200 trade in bonus (confused why theres 2) + 5% shop app discount + 20% student + $200 cme voucher

          i get around 1273.24 (remove percentages first then subtract dollar value discounts)

          frim 1273 you can deduct the value of the trade in itself (so 330) = 940

          940 is roughly the premium of the 512 model

          im unsure if the 1273 includes the trade in deduction already

          the stupid invoice only mentions the $350 trade in, the $150 ecosystem and the 200$ bonus trade in vouchers. and 5% app. So there $350 missing in discounts unaccounted for

          perhaps the $200 of the 350 is galaxy AI code, but doesnt mention it, and the 150 is the value of my phone i was trading in (note 10). which means it didnt apply the 20% off properly. theres no way to tell

          what happens if i dont hand in my trade in device? do they refund the $150 but keep $60 penalty?

    Should be quite the upgrade especially in terms of CPU and GPU speeds (double or triple performance, I think?). And… no longer having to deal with an Exynos chipset is a bonus (although the phone and camera on my S21 became significantly better on UI 5.0 compared to launch). Hopefully no more poor, battery-draining reception for Wi-Fi and Mobile too with the latest antenna. And the larger battery is very welcome along with efficiency improvements.

      Only one CME code can be used. They are for the same $200 trade-in bonus when buying an S24 ultra.

                From what I've seen there are 3 ways to get CME code.

                1. Targeted email from Samsung
                2. Samsung live chat
                3. Samsung members app

                That user specifically said they stacked 1 and 3, but from what I've read people are trying to stack 2 and 3.

      People are going into the orders aftee they ordered, cancelling the accessories and keeping just the phone as the phone receives some of the discounts from the codes.

          what you pick makes no difference except for the $. The closer your total accessories to 350, the better. What samsung does is evenly split 350 across all items in cart

            @JL1: Yes. It's spot on. I tested the math with my initial tablet purchase as the selected accessory. Had to cancel the order and reorder with accessories value closer to $350 to optimise the discount.

      Fold 5 has a bigger screen but ultra definitely has much better camera. What's your experience of fold 5 and what made you changed back to ultra?

        Fold 5 was great for productivity/work but i also like to game on my phone and its abit awkward on that screen and and i found the outside screen abit to narrow and had issues typing every now and then. Battery life is also not as good but still enough. Also is the inevitable hinge failure, but all in all its a good phone but given i also use for game i prefer the candy bar phone style, camera was fine for me on my trip overseas.

          I agree that the outer screen is too narrow to type. Just the inner big screen made me stay on fold. Ultra definitely has better camera and battery life. Most importantly, the charging speed is much faster on ultra. Fold has slow 25w charging which takes way too long to charge.
