well I caved and called the restaurant, they said they got the order for a 630 delivery at 6.50pm.

Huh. I was just delivered my order when I had specified that it was supposed to be a pre-order for tomorrow. Oh well, I suppose I can't complain considering it was free and everyone here is getting their orders cancelled.
Ordered at 10:17am and the order "Just came through" according to the shop, 30mins after expected delivery time.
I've been told it will be an hour still but I don't like my chances that it will even come lol
I was told that the driver was 500mtrs away last night from my (usually awesome) thai shop, when I called back 20mins later, they said they never had my order haha, they ended up delivering it about 20mins after that though so I guess it worked out in the end..

I got confirmation mail but to be on the safe side i ordered this to be delivered as late as possible as a late night snack rather than my main dinner. Fingers crossed.

So I ordered at 11:30am and didn't want to risk it being my dinner and not turning up. Ended up ordering from a groceries place and managed to score two large ben and jerrys tubs for $5 delivered. They got delivered smoothly so I count that as a win!

I ordered around 10am for 7.30pm delivery and didn't get confirmation email. Restaurant didn't get the order. Couldn't get through to DH on phone. Only just then got an email with 'sorry' coupon saying it was so busy the order couldn't get placed. Do you think it was really that busy in the morning to affect their system?

Restaurant claims to not have received my order, even though I got 2 SMS confirmations and an Email confirmation.
Tried calling Delivery Hero 3 times but no answer.
Called the restaurant back and said that they can't do anything, they can't contact delivery hero either and can't process any refund.

Before we all write off DH… I've had a look at delivery hero vs menulog vs eatnow.
I was looking at the restaurant I ordered tonight (Indian). Prices were identical on DH and EN but higher on menulog. I can't say for sure for all other restaurants, but all three sites say "best price gaurantee" and can claim back differences if more expensive. Secondly, the Indian restaurant I ordered from has a lower order threshold and free delivery on DH.
I like DH and EN displaying the delivery fees on the search result page. Most of the restaurants all appear on three sites (ML: 29, EN: 35, DH: 26 for an inner Brisbane suburb).
Finally, several restaurants on DH are listed as closed even though they're listed as open on ML and EN. It would be a shame if they have decided withdraw from DH because of the coupon saga. I also can't comment on customer service apart from DH where it is virtually non existent if your order goes wrong.
So make sure you compare with all three sites once you've picked a restaurant for a potentially better deal.

This promotion is more like a stability test for their ordering system and they managed to fail it on multiple levels for 2 days in row. Bravo, delivery hero. I guess Dr evil ozbargainer is winner this chapter.
If you don't know what to order,maybe $20.00 of soft drink or mineral water from a local pizza shop to stock up the fridge can be your last resort. Tested to work.
If I did contact restaurant I will just have one delivery from one restaurant with two 2 separate orders. I guess you do need to order multiple times to ensure something will turn up for dinner. DH sent the 20 dollar unique coupon again but funny thing is that it was for the order actually got delivered not the one missed out(different email address provided).
The website should provide the conditions and rules to guide how to use the coupon and special mechanism should be considered so everyone can just order once to have a feeling of it. I ordered the stuff for the purpose of trying to see how well they are prepared but apparently they are not ready for this at least not on the same level of ozbargainers. There was no terms whatsoever to tell how the coupon should be used and how many times you can use it. So I guess whatever works with their website should be considered legit.

So DH have cancelled my order and issued a $20 voucher, but will they refund the initial order? No mention of a refund in their email.

After calling restaurant and DH numerous times in last hour with no success, I FINALLLLY got hold of restaurant and my order will be delivered on time at 8:30pm. YAY.
I placed my order around 11am this morning. Caught wind of it early.

I got worried last night after all the orders that weren't fulfilled…mine came through fine, but when I saw the voucher this morning, I wondered if I would get my order.
To play it safe, I ordered from the same place as last night, who were amazing in calling me to let me know a delay, not to mention that the pizza was amazing.
Tonight I not only received my order on time (again), but for being a new customer who ordered twice in a row and left a review, they delivered a free garlic bread!! They even called in advance to let me know it was coming and why…now THAT'S service!!

Order arrived late but better than never, restaurant rang kind of confused as they were not sure if the order was for tonight (it was) but they honoured it nevertheless. I can't believe DH are calling places and getting them to actively cancel orders. Maybe they call the more popular places where they stand to lose more money.

just a question, I paid with PayPal, so when they refund it, does it go back directly to my visa debit card which I used to make the payment ( through paypal) or does the money sit in my paypal and I have to transfer it?

Got last night's dinner delivered after a three hour delay and having to constantly call up delivery hero. Ended up with my dinner and a message from delivery hero saying my order was cancelled and a $25 voucher.
Put an order through this morning not expecting anything. Order didn't arrive which was no surprise but got a call from delivery hero without me calling them and asking if I had received my order and apologising profusely. Also emailed me a $20 voucher.
End tally: one dinner and two coupons totaling $45.

Same thing- I ordered for 7:30, got an email just after 9 saying it's been cancelled, despite it saying its been delivered on the app. Didn't help that the restaurant in question doesn't answer its phone- had been calling all day to make sure that they actually had received the order.
Well my $13.00 Indian arrived at 6pm like i requested. I got a text message from Delivery Hero 75 mins before my meal was to be delivered confirming the order.
