@stockastics: I did, and from the deliveryHero page, it shows the 20 dollar discount has been successfully processed, in which i am only responsible for the remaining 8.9 dollar, but when it goes to paypal page, the amount goes back to 28.9 dollar. Do i get a rebate or cash back of 20 dollar later?

Funny: "Minimum order value $30.00, delivery fee $4.00, Free Delivery on orders over $30.00" So pretty much you have to order $30… and therefore never have to pay $4 delivery…
Wrong, you can order $26 dollars and pay the $4 to get a minimum order of 30.
Mine didn't factor the delivery fee into the minimum order value, so Lister would be correct.

I called with 3 phones over and over when i eventually got through I could hear a call center and then the call dropped! 3 times!

They claim they don't "turn the machine on" (that gives them web orders) until then.
Will wait and see, then call Delivery Hero tomorrow…
My restaurant starts delivery at 11am so that's not the case.
Update: Restaurant got my food delivered. They say that they have to ring Delivery Hero a hundred times to get through and eventually get my order confirmed.

So after confirming payment via paypal at 8am this morning and receiving two confirmations via e-mail and text that my delivery was confirmed, it never showed up. Called the restaurant and they were advised that they were contacted by Delivery Hero at 11.15 am and advised not to complete the order for me, as they were cancelling ALL orders to the resteraunt that used the "tuessorry20" code.
The Delivery Hero people never called, texted or e-mailed me though to advise of this. As of right now, the Delivery Hero online chat has been disabled at their website & their phones are calling through & then going dead.
No response or explanation from them what so ever.
How can we neg this deal after they AGAIN pulled a shifty on us & got us with misleading advertising?

Me and my colleague made orders a few minutes apart, mine was received and confirmed but my colleagues was never received with no SMS confirmation.
After a few calls, I confirmed both orders and they gave us both orders even though they didn't receive both confirmation orders through delivery hero.
He had been calling delivery hero for the past half hour with no response. Hopefully they get sorted out by DH..

I can somewhat understand what happened yesterday since I made a late order, but a second time, and this time an early order too, come on, why even bother having an "apology" promotion at all.

Lunch break Cafe in Brisbane did not fulfill the order - apparently they were to busy! ….i placed the order at 11 for delivery at 12:30 …noone even conacted us :( ….shame on them.
just had manager of the cafe call and apologise ….they're going to send my order tomorow lunch time :) and the manager will ensure it's done
My order didn't arrive again, business says they didn't receive it (despite me getting email confirmation) and to call Delivery Hero. Delivery Hero's number rings out.
If a startup is going to blow tonnes of cash into these promotions so people want to use the service at full price, it's not going to work like this. All this is telling me is that local businesses should avoid using it since clearly they're not getting all orders made on the site.
As far as OzBargain deals go, not receiving free condoms, eneloops, calendars, or some other random shit in the mail isn't a big deal, but not receiving a meal you were expecting does mess with your day.
Whats even worse is when they cancel an order where you actually paid a decent sum of money and used the code for a bit of a discount. Certainly not acceptable.
Yeah I've learnt the hard way with Delivery Hero and intentionally made sure my order put me out the smallest amount possible if it didn't come through (20 cents). I would have ordered more if I didn't have the distinct impression their service was unreliable as shit. They've met my expectations - confirmation text, confirmation email, and yet the restaurant doesn't have my order. Other people reporting Delivery Hero is calling up restaurants and cancelling orders.
Absolute madness. They've blown a tonne of cash on these promotions, only to permanently destroy their brand. They're the last place food delivery service - at least in Sydney (Menulog and Eatnow both being better and Australian owned) - they've only taken actions to cement that last place. Madness!

DH is contacting the restaurants directly and having them cancel our orders. Which means they cant honor the price without absorbing it directly (which they wont do) or you'll have to pay for the same order a second time, as DH aren't answering their phones to organise refunds on orders already paid for.
Worked for me last night. If you are concerned go with a restaurant that has good reviews on Delivery hero. The place I went with Brandi Pizza had good reviews and no issues with delivery so felt safe.
