                @Fredfloresjr: With pricing errors, companies have the right to cancel sales. Although I am disappointed about my order's cancellation, I believe Samsung is justified in doing this, just like any other company.

  • My order hasn't been cancelled but I've been shoved a 15% off coupon code. Apparently for the black friday deals there will be a secret code (which you need to register for) and then another 15% off after that.

    I wonder if when my order is cancelled all this coupon is stackable…

        Yeah - game over, at least for me. Got a 15% off voucher. I asked the agent if any orders were being fulfilled and they insisted all orders were being cancelled. I am still hopeful that at least a few will be delivered.

      Better customer service for me. Making a call takes time and resources. Respect to Samsung to do this. We knew it was a 50/50 so :)

      Friend didn't pick up the call, they just proceed straightaway to cancellation and the transaction disappeared from card. So doesn't matter if you pick it up or not. Same outcome.

  • My guess is, they are fullfilling some orders they have stock for and they dont have stock for rest so cancelling them. Thus is if they are actually dispatching any of these orders at all.

    The TV is $2999. It's was on special for $1799 before the Black Friday sale. The Black Friday offer was $1050 off, so $749, wich was this deal.

    If the $1050 was off the $2999, then it would have been more expensive than the pre Black Friday price. Makes no sense. Someone at Samsung have royally f*ed this up.

      • It was definitely an error cause I got the email to those promotion hours before this deal was posted and when I tested the code it was over 1k. Definitely not $749.

    • If you're right, then it just goes to show that Samsung's "right" to deem something as a "pricing error" is arbitrary, unilateral and requires no proof justifying it as a "pricing error". One would argue it falls within the "unfair contractual terms" category.

    Got the cancellation call and offer of 15% off voucher. Opted for refund naturally. The price of the TV after supposed apology discount is still higher than what they were selling it for on the EPP store prior to the black friday deals.

          • @Circly: It's not good at all. The original price after the 40% discount should be $1079. This was the amount when I first tested after getting the promo email and hours before this price error deal was listed. Samsung are playing in our faces with the 15% off.

        I have the 65inch S90C. It is an awesome TV. Nowhere that Sony can beat it. Probably only LG G series can beat it.

        That is why I am getting another (55inch) one.
