I sat on the mobile page a while and got WELCOME30 for signing up ($30 off $300+), although another browser only got 20)

$405 delivered to SE QLD seems pretty awesome.

Thx @mfu “to find where to put the code. If anyone’s looking, you need to expand review item during checkout.”

    I wish they did a 32” version…

    Soooooo cheap

      But is it good?

      • It's not bad for a smaller room.

      • Not sure

  • Any affordable yet decent soundbar to pair with this tv? Moving into a new place soon but budget is a bit tight

    • +1

I bought a tcl soundbar with wireless subwoofer to pair with my tcl 65" tv. It was $199. Fantastic difference.

      • Which one?

        • +1

          S643W 3.1 channel.

      • Do you mind telling the model number?

I care about good sound so my pick on a budget would be this:

      Paired with this:

      • How are these set up normally? Do you just put those two on the tv stand or you put one near where you sit?

      • Wonder if there is bigger sub? Maybe 12 inch?

How was the 8 inch btw?

        • This one actually seems very good quality for the price. You’ll pay a lot more to get a better sub I reckon.

  • In the blurb on the site it seems to mention about a onkyo2.1 soundbar built in?

    • +1

Yeah sounds somewhat promising but it’s never going to compete with a properly sized soundbar or speakers.

    • Only select models (55" and up). It's 2x 10W + 1x 15W. Smaller models get 2x 15W which is still decent, especially for the size.

Same goes for 120Hz vs 60Hz. Only the bigger TV's get it (55" and up).

The smaller models should really have a different model number.

Still, for the money it's great value. Only thing this price is Ffalcon and this has better warranty and higher brightness.

Thanks OP. Was looking for a cheap TV for bedroom.

This looks perfect. So cheap. $405 after welcome discount. Nice!

    Thanks, ordered one.
Had to spend 15 minutes just to find where to put the code. If anyone looking, you need to expand review item during checkout.

  • Deliver and pick up not availabe to early December for QLD. Am i doing something wrong?

    • Might be they’ve sold quite a few at this price

  • How realistic would it be to use one of these as a PC monitor?

I only need normal desktop use. I'm not a gamer.

Text on TVs can be iffy, based on subpixel layout and overscan. Some are brilliant, some are impossible to correct.

Gaming and videos? 'Always' fine, though.

    • Yep, just be careful with only using approved codes.

  • Picked mine up today. Replace a 8 year old 60" LG tv.

    Absolutely abysmal picture quality.

The only people I could recommend this for would be elderly and children.

Should have just got a factory second higher end model for around the same price.

    • Damn, that sounds concerning. I hear you can tweak them a bit.

      • It's all subjective I guess but I really don't like it. Colours washed. Pretty bad ghosting. Not very bright.

  • Sold out already :(

  • Got mine today. Going to wall mount it, so I really hope it’s decent.

Going to pair it with the $8 4K fire stick I got from a TopCashback deal yonks ago:

  • Is this TV still worth it at $535? I'm after a cheapie second TV that'll mostly be watched by the kids. Either that or I wait to see what comes up on black Friday.

I’m quite happy with it (after being worried by KenDiaMoi’s comment).

The first thing I do when I buy a TV is turn the motion smoothing off as I can’t stand any inconsistency - these tricks have to “decide” when to smooth, so some some parts get it and some don’t depending on the algorithm used, and I find it really jarring.

Anyway, I reckon it’s worth $450-500 so wait for a deal imo.
