Full credit to user @dega896 as posted in LG 77" OLED EVO C5 AI UHD 4K Smart TV 2025. I thought it is a good deal on the Samsung S95D 77" + HW-Q600C Soundbar so I thought I would post it. Other OLED S90D 77" and 83" also available with this offer, however they are WOLED and not QD-OLED like Samsung S95D.

  • Nice deal. When do the new versions of S90d & s95d come out?

    • +2

Next week deliveries are starting on S85F to S95F.

  • +1

It was a good deal a few weeks ago when they had 77 inch’s S90D for $3300 and that too on 24 months interest free installments. Can’t see this as a deal after what I saw then.

    • +1

Yes and no. That is also nice but this S95D is a step up with soundbar.

    • +1

different products - the other had LG’s WOLED panel, this has Samsung’s QD-OLED.

    • The QD-OLED panel is significantly superior to the WOLED panels in the S90D.

  • +3

Following the above method the s90d 77 inch with sound bar comes down to $3384

    • That’s a really really good price.

      • +1

Was $3260 last month, + $100 amex cash back

  • All TVs have $375 off or am I missing something? Why just a Samsung 65+?

    • Seems to be dependent on TV? I tried adding the Frame 65" and it's a trade-up value of $100

  • -1

interesting didn't know you could trade in you old samsung tv this might be worth looking at I think.

  • -4

o you have to use samsung pay well samsung can now go F$%k themselves I don't use that sh$t

  • +2

Love this panel, definitely incredible. But I strongly recommend you guys see it in person before pulling the trigger. The matte finish screen really detracts from the inky black OLED look (especially in an environment that’s not pitch black).

Hence ended up going for a G4 instead.

    • -1

Yeah definitely a step down from a G4

  • Excellent reflection handling due to the matte screen but at a cost of degraded contrast. Blacks will appear grey.

  • +1

Thanks OP, great work on the offer stacking.

Was in the market for a new anti-glare TV as my lounge is 75% windows, had bookmarked the S95 and The Frame but wasn't massively keen on paying $5k+ for the S95D.

Then along comes this deal and I get The S95D 77" plus a $999 soundbar for $4,300!

Now I just need to buy an old broken TV off marketplace for the $375 trade up…

    • what soundbar was that

      • HW-Q600C

  • Has anyone been able to pay with an Amex via Samsung Pay on the Samsung website? It tells me the card is not accepted..

  • I may have to jump on this as I missed the S90D 77inch promo and was prepared to downgrade to the WOLED panel for the price. I don't have any TV so regardless it would have been a massive upgrade to me. Does anyone have any experience of the following?
    1) Selecting trade up to get the discount but not actually supplying anything on delivery - Is there a charge like the $30 for not sending in your phone? I could always scour marketplace for a free old TV
    2) Ordering and then cancelling the soundbar before delivery - I did this with the accessories when buying the S24U last year and still got all the discounts
    3) What the actual value of the S95D77 only comes to with all the discounts in the cart. I do want a soundbar but can get that at a later date and was thinking of the 990D which is OOS/not part of this deal
    Thanks in advance

    • 3) You get an additional 20% off the TV for buying the soundbar, so it's cheaper to buy with the soundbar than without.

      • Yes understand that, just wanted to know what the price shows up in the cart as Samsung are weird about how discounts are applied - I will buy with soundbar, just likely to cancel or return it so want to get a feel for the actual price of the TV post discounts thats all

  • Has anyone had luck in getting samsung to price match a retailer before checking out?

I know they have their price promise after you buy, however was hoping to match the cheapest major retailer and then try and stack coupons.

  • I have a decent 65 inch Samsung is it still only $375 trade in? Their website says all the trade ins have zero value geez there's some depreciation.

    • It can be any TV - I'm planning on picking up one for free on marketplace just to qualify
Samsung chat have confirmed 'Regarding the Trade in, It needs to be an old TV.'
And if you return the TV for whatever reason, you don't get the value of the trade in as a refund, that is why they say it has zero value

    • My question for you, and the guys who originally posted this in the forums you linked, is why did the experts at RTINGS etc not pick all of this up, and why do they rate it amongst the best TV's on the market?

        • Good info.

I had read a lot about the matte screen taking away from the blacks but my lounge is 75% windows, so the no glare is worth so much more to me than a slight gain of black.

Surely Samsung are working on an update to fix the issues! They can't let their flagship TV be a pile of shit, they'll lose so much marketshare to LG.

Are software updates forced or optional?

          • @gaz3342: They are very much forced as in they will even update when you have auto update turned off, however there are workarounds posted in that particular thread I linked on how to attempt blocking them & I think on reddit as well.

Matte screen was a positive in my room as well, total non issue. It was all the motion issues and bugs which ruined it. Hopefully they fix it. You have one guy in that thread I posted who believes he's never seen any of the problems, other than an occasional frame skip. I'm sceptical of him as he appears in all the LG threads complaining of bugs & always defends Samsung, but he seems to be on his own with never having issues.

            • @Alleviate: Can't for the life of me find where they talk about how to block updates. My S95D is getting delivered next week so would like to know how to stop the updates, would you mind linking me to the exact post? Thank you

                • @Alleviate: Appreciated thank you.

                  • @gaz3342: No worries, sorry about the late reply. I ended up jumping back on this deal as well funnily enough. I had a G5 pre-ordered and now that is getting less than ideal reviews, this just seemed to be too cheap to give up even with all the motion problems.

For the price, it doesn't hurt as much.

                    • +1

@Alleviate: I'm still optimistic that Samsung will fix the issues.

Or maybe not now the new range is about to be released.

                    • @Alleviate: @Alleviate my S95D arrived yesterday. Didn't manage to stop it updating to 1301 firmware….

Been watching David Attenborough docos on Netflix and am absolutely blown away, like literally sitting there saying "Wow" every 10 seconds.

Going to watch the footy on 7HD tonight see how that goes, you reckon I will notice during slow mo replays yeah?
