    The C5 is out so this is an older model.

    Also important to note that the 77 inch G4 has been around this price. Although slightly smaller it is arguably the much better TV

      Debatable that it's much better, would personally rather the extra size, also I think the C4 has a better stand since the G4 is meant for wall mounting.

        You might think "brightness" is only a small improvement, but even your review says it is noticably improved for HDR/SDR content, plus gaming content, plus in a bright room the G4 is less reflective.

        But yeah, if you don't game, have the TV in a non bright area. Plus have never had an LG OLED before, the C series is great. G series just a little more future proof I'd say.

            Was getting ready to grab a 77”G4 , dammit.

            But I'd keep an eye on the LG website as they might do the same 24hr Flash Sale thing here soon too .

      That might be true but at the end of the day its 77 inch versus 83 inch which you can never change. You have to weigh the immersive experience trade off versus the gain.

      Of course the best solution is get a 83 G5 ;)

    Apparently the 2025 Gen 5 LG OLED TV's is such a huge jump in picture quality and HDR performance, it makes last years 2024 C4/G4 look like 5 generations old. I would hold out for the C5 and G5, it's not a normal small incremental update like the previous 4 generations have been. If you haven't jumped on the big screen OLED bandwagon yet, I would just hold on for the G5 / C5 to go on sale this year. It literally makes the 2024 G4 OLED TV's look like the worst TV upgrade generation ever even at current prices on sale. G5 makes G4 look like an 'ancient plasma' according to HDTVTest. G5 is the biggest yearly jump in performance when it comes to OLED TV's. HDTVTest video came out yesterday, check it out.
