As mentioned in my last post, I had a couple of weeks away from the office, which was great - but as many small business owners know, things really aren't run the same while you're away. In my case, sales slow dramatically (as I am fairly active on a few forums and run online marketplace promo's, send bulk emails, offers etc), but when I'm away all this stops and sales take a dip. Stock which was ordered weeks or months in advance continues to arrive and stockpile whether sales are being made or not.
Dr Reddys who I have long, established history with (they were actually one of the only suppliers willing to back me to get started on Ozbargain) are gently giving me the nudge I need to amp up my order numbers to maintain pricing. To be fair, they have been good enough to hold pricing for me for months (or in some cases years) where as other suppliers have crept pricing upwards whenever they get a chance.
