192x Trust Ibuprofen 200mg (Coated Tablets) $10.99 Delivered @ PharmacySavings

1470

Hi Ozbargainers,

Thanks again for your continued support for many years, due to the massive volume of product we've been able to move I'm contacted weekly as a "customer of last resort" and this week I've been offered multiple pallets of Ibuprofen 200mg. With an expiry date of January 2025, this product is right in the sweet spot of heavily discounted yet still reasonably dated.

The last ibuprofen deal we ran was a huge success taking out 2023 deal of the year for our store (by way of volume sold), for those looking for the previous deal we have maintained ongoing supply at the original deal price: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/779392

I was offered Trust Ibuprofen at a record low and have committed to 5,000 boxes for Ozbargainers tonight:

Item: 192x Ibuprofen 200mg, Coated Tablets (considered a premium over non coated)
Price: $10.99
Delivery: Free
Stock Available As Of Listing: 5,000 boxes
Link: https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/trust-iburprofen-200…
Exp: End January 2025

Other quantities available, click through to our store if you want fewer or more tablets. But from our previous experience 192x Tabs seems to be the sweet spot for many clients.

Ozbargain favourites have again been restocked:
* 20x Travel Ease Tablets (2x boxes) $9.99 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/843958
* 200x Cetirizne 200x Cetirizine @ $19.99: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/834351

any ozempic deals? asking for a friend

  • Ordered few days ago 192x Ibuprofen @13.99 can i cancel and order this ?

  • Make a bundle 192 x ibuprofen and 192 x paracetamol :-) Yes, I know paracetamol don't come in those packing numbers. Reason I day this is I usually take one of each. I assume the 100 x Panamax bundle is the best going now? Thanks for the continued deals.

Edit: ok I'm blind I see the bigger Panamax bundles now. Thanks!

    • I don’t take pain meds much, so I’m confused as the difference between ibuprofen and paracetamol, when to take each…

I sort of just grab whichever one I have at hand when I have a headache and move on…

      • +3

Paracetamol usually better for headaches. Ibuprofen is better for inflammation based pain

      • Paracetamol is a painkiller (analgesic). Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug.

So Paracetamol for your head, ibuprofen for if "Aunt Irma" visits :)

        • +2

Ibuprofen is 100% an analgesic. Just because it's an NSAID (non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug) doesn't mean it's not also an analgesic.

          • @Grazz989: It has analgesic properties. It's drug class is not as an analgesic, because it has other properties..

Using it for a headache versus it being designed to treat a headache are different.

    • +2

Praying for your liver man, one of each a day. That's serious, hope you're ok!

      • Thanks mate.

  • Whats the difference between these and Neurofen
    Neurofen Zavance
    Neurofen Quickzorb.

    Is it just marketing?

    • +7

Technically there is a difference - ibuprofen lysine (Nurofen Quickzorb) and ibuprofen sodium dihydrate (Nurofen Zavance) vs standard ibuprofen.

These have got added salts - lysine for quicker absorption (for tablets already absorbed relatively quickly) and sodium dihydrate for anti-inflammatory properties (which already exist in standard ibuprofen). The dosages are same - ie all equivalent 200mg ibuprofen.

Well that's the theory anyway, I'm more inclined to believe there's not much of a difference.

      • Cheers for a bit of new info. I figured they were just new delivery methods of the same drug

        • I mean you're not wrong there either tbh, it is new delivery methods of the same drug (ibuprofen). The addition of lysine for example is just the chemical which enable the quicker delivery method.

    • It is marketing. You pay more for it.

      Don't believe the hype.

It all gets down the same way. It doesn't magically change the absorption.

  • Still waiting on orders from over a month ago.

    • Same. Must have been some postage issues around Easter because it looks like it's affected quite a few people

      • Curious to know if you got your order in the end? OP sent out my order again, a month later but >20 days later and still no package. 😞

    • +1

Please send a PM if you've been waiting more than 20 working days.

    • Curious to know if you got your order in the end? OP sent out my order again, a month later but >20 days later and still no package. 😞

      • Just get some from CW or Aldi.

        • It's about not getting the order not that I can just get worming tablets from cw

          • @Lizard Spock: True, what did they say when you contacted them? Could DM the OP on here.

Chasing up and trying to get refunds is a pain, guess you'll know for next time.

            • @G-rig: OP was very good, said there had been some issues with other orders and then resent the order, one month later and still no package. PayPal claim was pretty quick though.

              • @Lizard Spock: Doesn't sound very good but no doubt will sort it.
Lucky you weren't in pain haha

      • No I didn't. I'll assume it's just lost and cop the loss. Shame though I've definitely received previously orders with zero issue

        • Same here with previous orders not having issues 😔

Sounds like a recipe for ibuprofen induced rebound headaches.

  • +1

Curious, what is the scenario someone is needing to need 192x pills to be taken in 7 months? Is it for chronic pain of some sort?

Aren't ibuprofen not for long term use?

    • +2

Family, so spread over more than 1 person and also I'd say most people aren't too worried about taking ibuprofen that's mildly out of date.

I'm not actually planning on buying these as we've got heaps, but that would be my thoughts.

  • +9

Worth mentioning that heavy or long-term use of ibuprofen, can cause chronic kidney disease known as chronic interstitial nephritis.

    • Yes, some people pop them like tic-tacs
Better off treating the cause not the symptoms.

    • +1

Along with damaging your hearing, stomach ulcers, blood clots and heart failure.

      • Same as eating badly but people don't care about that (and drive up me private health insurance).

  • Ahh, man! Wish this came up this morning, before I ordered 1000 Costco ibuprofen from the US.

  • Can I take these once a week for hang over cure??

    • +3

Try taking a couple of these with a litre of water before sleeping.

And you'll feel right as rain in the morning.

      • -2

The problem is I get too intoxicated and pass out before i know it

Also, why take it before bed? Wouldn't it wear off by the time you wake up.

      • Wouldn't it just wear off by the time you wake up?

      • This

      • Lol. Just drink a litre of water instead. No need for this tablet as well. All you're trying to do is keep your body hydrated while you sleep. I personally prefer a 600ml gatorade before going to sleep intoxicated. Both take that edge off that dreaded hangover when you wake up 😉

Hi Ozbargainers, thanks for your huge support on this deal, I still have stock left - But please be patient as we push these orders out, I have got the first 200 or so orders out - but the next 200 or so may take a day or two to pack and get out the door. My packing ability is around 150x orders per day.

You are a river to your people.

  • Do you have any deals on generic gastrostop? Normally get 7x 20 of the little green boxes

  • Do you have a deal on paracetamol?

  • I'm getting a nearly blank page when checking out or after paying using Paypal. Anyone else experiencing similar issues??
