  • Don't think Northland is doing the pass…

    • I got mine at Northland when this post was put up and I have the coupon on my app, but I can't seem to order through the app and redeem, always has an error so I have to go in and have them do it manually.
Quite annoying and a waste of time

      • Are you going all the way down in the chip section? There's an item that's chip and dip together

  • Gutted, can't purchase online

  • Just purchased the pass via the app on Android

    • Just got my chip pass delivered into the app and notified by sms

  • I can't find the chip pass on the app or the website??

    • It's been removed from the website, android app and ios app. I joined Relish when it was first released. Definitely appears ozbargained.

        • Sound advice, I'm a constant app updater and procrastinated too long.

          Long live my waist line.

      • It’s still showing as available in my iOS app.

    • Ooft signed up yesterday and bought just in time.

I'm on a 4 day chip streak.. I live in melbourne CBD and a few mins walk away from my local 😈

  • Ozb.

  • Missed, if you don't have an existing account prior to 31/5/24.

Just got this for birthday month. Mostly makes the chip pass redundant. Get a week before and after though.

"It’s your party, so celebrate with Grill’d all month long and enjoy the chippies of your choice, on us!

That’s right – for your whole birthday month, we’ll shout you a snack serve of chips once a day with the purchase of any burger or salad at Grill’d.

Available in restaurant, Online Pickup or via Grill’d Delivery."

Day 1 done. 41 to go. Thanks OP.
Dangerous seeing as I have Grill'd near home and work.
24 cents for chips and dip is too good of a deal to pass up.
sweet potato chips counts as one serve of veggies ;-)

    • Couldnt buy the packaging and tissues for 24c.

  • +1

Ooft one regular chips is like 600 cal… I'm going to close my eyes and pretend I don't need to calorie count. Might offset it by walking 15 minutes each way to the Grill'd

      • According to their web site it is a 6 week rolling start…
”When does the six weeks start?
From the day you purchase your pass!”

  • +2

I've somehow developed a cough, possibly from all the "free" chippies over the past 4 days ahaha make sure everyone drink plenty of water

    • It is free after the first 3-4 redemptions 😉

Going for my 4th day later tonight!

      • It's effectively free after the first redemption (assuming you get a regular chips plus the dip)

          • +1

@G-rig: If you get sweet potato or zuccini, it pays for itself the first time.

      Nvm it is covid 😭

      • +2

Yikes sorry to hear hope you get well soon!

  • Anyone got a spare (pre May 31st) relish account they can loan me?

    • +1

I don’t think it can be purchased anymore even if you have an account prior to 31 May, I’ve had a relish account for years and the option for me to purchase the chip pass has disappeared. I was told in store today the offer has been removed.

      • +1

Interesting, I'm still keen to try my luck as it seems others can still purchase it on pre May 31st accounts and I have three Grill'd within five minutes of the three places I spend the most of my time, gutted I didn't see this earlier

      • Did you get yours?

I'm stoked I got mine (4 week standard pass) due to them changing the terms yet again.

I'm in the process of getting them to make it a 6 week early bird due to the run around.

        • How are you communicating directly with 'them'? Please share. I have had no response.

          • @roughana: Ongoing email thread with rep (who has now successfully changed my 4 week pass to 6 week) after I first submitted an inquiry from their contact form here

          • @roughana: Finally received a reply and a Chip Pass with start date adjusted.

  • Pass is in my app. When I go to redeem the pass it shows up as $0.01 and tells you to add chips and dip but when you do the normal prices show up. Are they not honouring their own promo?

    • +2

I had this issue too. It shows $0.01, you add the chips and it goes up to $6.91, but once you get to checkout, it will discount the whole $6.91.

      • Thanks. I didn't see the amount coming off at the bottom subtotal

  • I have had a relish account for months. Can’t see the deal on website or in iOS app. Even if I click through from the ‘get chip pass’ button on the ozb linked page.

Does say available until sold out so perhaps it’s gone. Anyone got it working still?

  • I got my chip pass today, tried the zucchini with herb aioli, I don't mind it. Telling myself that's healthier helps too, lol. This is a joke before someone posts the amount fat/oil is in it.

    • Searched up the nutritional information today and almost had a heart attack, which will probably come after eating 42 orders of chips

  • Have their chips changed recently? They seem to have a darker, thicker outer coating. Tastes different to me also.

    • I'm still waiting for my chip pass to appear in app. Sent their tech support a message days ago but still waiting for a response. Going to have to convince the instore staff I bought one again.

      • Same situation over here.

        • +1

Hey mate, I would suggest to submit another query under store feedback and address your issue.

I went to the store yesterday and the staff member gave it to me and suggested to submit another query, so I did it under store feedback and labelled it as urgent.

I got it resolved this morning the the chip pass is now in my app.

          Hopefully it works for you.

          • @curriboi: Thanks for the tip! I'll do it again as you suggested. Still haven't heard back, kind of sick of explaining myself everytime heh.

          • @curriboi: Thanks. Just submitted another query under store feedback. I haven't heard anything for the query I submitted on the 31st May so not expecting much from them.

          • +1

@curriboi: Finally! A response from the customer service. The chip pass is now appearing on my app!
            Thanks so much @curriboi

          • +1

@curriboi: Thanks heaps. Looks like that second store query did the trick. Chip pass also in my app now.

        • Do you have email address for direct contact? I have sent a new request each day via website and still have received no reply.

  • i got my fries the 1st day i bought chip pass. i didn't get my fries the 2nd day because chip pass not showing in my app. Still no luck on 3rd day even i got my chip pass showing in my app, the stuff told me chip pass not working in their store.. ask me to try again tomorrow. I start to have a bad feeling about this event….

    • They probably under estimated and under prepared this promo

      • Same… mine says, cannot apply coupon…

I purchaed yesterday and havent redeemed today

    • I had issues with android for 3 days as the orders got stuck at processing. Tried it on IOS with my 4th order yesterday and it was fine. The store got the order and I got the email confirmation.

  • +1

I purchased my chip pass yesterday, it appeared in the app almost immediately and I received a text message also.
I was not able order online via the app, got an error that promo code could not be applied to order. My barcode worked ok in store.
Today, I was able to order online without issue and apply the chip pass promo code.
I also received a mass email earlier today advising that technical issues in the app had been resolved.

  • I need to hand in my badge. Bought the pass 3 days ago and haven't claimed once 😭

      • +1

Got my first today. Zucchini chips are great! Love them and the deception they're healthy

  • Cannot apply coupon

  • -1

Bought them as recommended on uber eats, worst chips I've ever tasted

  • -1

    goood deal!

  • Got scammed $1.22 public holiday fee

      • I ordered through app today for public holiday in WA and still got charged

    • I redeemed in store and didn't get slugged with it.

  • +1

How is everyone buying the pass? It’s not popping up in the app or website for me.

    • Think it’s gone now

      • Didn't show up for me tonight either. Maybe they pulled the promo?

  • It does seem like too good of a deal.
$420 value for $10… and a slightly larger waist line.

    • Around $420 would be the price for regular (ie. not small) chips and a dip.

Whether it's worth $420 is questionable though.

      • +2

Definitely not worth $420, especially as the serving sizes have been less each day. I'm expecting 2 or 3 chips in a serving by the end. Still a fantastic deal though.

        • +2

Maybe they hate you, serving size is fine I've found. Even if you only claim these a handful of times it works out good in terms of value for 10$.

        • +1

Had no issues with serving size. Always handed over with a smile and "have a good day".

  • Has anyone been tracking the cals? Website says 615 cal for reg chips but MFP coming back as 545

    • +1

      Multi-Function Printer?

Need to ask my MFP what it reckons.

      • +1

It's an app - My Fitness Pal.

    • +1

      Close enough lol.

Punch in the details from the site if you're worried (and don't get sauce).

Anyone worried about fitness or losing weight shouldn't be eating this stuff, fact!

      • This counts as one of my daily veg intakes

        • I know you're being funny but it is a pretty dirty source of nutrients haha

          • @G-rig: Heh unfortunately I'm not lol. Bad eating habits. Better eat this than a pack of chips or chocolate

            • @0 0 0: Yeah at least it has vegetables, better than crisps. Bit crook having both some days haha.

      • +1

I know, but it was too good a deal to pass up on. One must make compromises in life

        • Agree, ripper deal. Yeah I got them today, must have missed 2 days from the 28th.
Just had a bit less lunch (and ideally no more oil and fats) haha.
Feel bad for them, may get a 2-for-1 burger monday as well with someone.

        • Holy hell it is hard to eat these chips and stay under my cals every day. I'm hungry and considering that maybe the chips aren't worth it 🥲

          • @grack: ~600 cal isn't that much intake out of a day's eating (1h decent cardio). Just make it part of your lunch I guess and watch what other junk you eat. It's the saturated fat and sodium that you need to watch, I'm sure people eat as much cals of other stuff and don't realise.

            • @G-rig: Oh for sure it isn't, but it's hard for me to feel full + stay under cals. Just having the chips with a side of salad, filling enough I spose

              • @grack: Yeah I just made a good chickpea salad after to supplement it, and to get some nutrients in. I found it ok by the time that was done.

Everyone is different though, depends how much you are calorie restricting over the day I guess.

Can confirm still works for Perth, noting the SMS comes a few hours later.

  • Is the only contact method for Grill'd is the website contact form?

  • Managed to purchase the chip pass last night.

    Coupon shows up in app/account.
However when trying to use it today I get an error - "Cannot apply coupon, please check the coupon terms and try again." Anyone know how to fix this?

    • When was your grilld account created? Before or after 31 May?

      • Before - I figured it out in the end, needed to add the coupon beforehand.

    • How'd you buy the pass? I was a Relish member before 31st May but see no banner. I'm in Perth.

  • +2

Where exactly is this chip pass??? I'm a member before 31.5.24 and updated my app…

  • Can you only order on app at the same branch you've bought the pass from? I'm at a different location and can't seem to order on app

    • +2

Different location is okay, should be able to redeem it if you scan your membership at the register.

      • Yep couldn't get the pass to work on app but worked fine at register. Weird!

        • at least for me on ios, changing restaurant crashes app, but restarting shows newly selected one

  • So is this deal completely not valid at Chadstone Centre Grill'd or just that it cannot be ordered online for the Chadstone store via the app?
