Free Burger with $20+ Spend if Your AFL/NRL Team Wins @ Grill'd (Mondays & Dine-in Only, Free Membership Required)

870

Back again for 2025 is the ever-popular Mad Bunday promo. Slightly different, with a minimum of $20 spend for this year.

Mad Bunday offer runs from 4 March 2025 until the end of the 2025 AFL and NRL seasons (excluding finals) (unless we withdraw this offer earlier or extend this period further) exclusively to Relish members who have registered a preferred sporting code and team in the Relish preference centre accessible at https://grilld.com.au/mad-bunday, https://cloud.email.grilld.com.au/mad-bunday or via the Grill'd app.

Relish members can only register one sporting code and team and cannot change their preferred sporting code and team throughout the season.

Relish members will be offered a Grill’d coupon when their registered team wins a game, limited to one coupon per Monday – Sunday weekly period (even if your team plays twice in the week), during the regular season. No coupon will be offered where a registered team draws in any given round. Relish members must sign up by 11:59pm AEDT on the Sunday prior to the Monday when redemption takes place to be eligible to receive the offer. Offer only available from time of member sign up and is not retrospectively applied for prior wins.

Offer excludes limited time offer products. Coupon valid for one standard burger or salad (excluding lamb & wagyu burgers, Mini Me Pack and Dynamic Duo) when the Relish member spends at least $20 or more in a single transaction. Coupon valid for ‘at till’ dine in purchases only (excluding ‘at table’ orders) and not valid for any other orders such as those made online, orders for Grill’d delivery or orders for third party delivery. Product swaps are not available and additional toppings, Low Carb SuperBun and Gluten Free Bun are available at extra cost.

Offer available exclusively to Relish Members. Coupon will be sent to the Relish member’s registered email address or accessible via the member area of the Grill’d App and Grill’d website. Coupon will be issued to qualifying Relish members on the Monday following your registered team’s win, must be redeemed on that day (after which it will expire) and must be scanned at the time of transaction. Coupon can only be used once and must be presented at the time of purchase.

Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount unless otherwise stated. Offer is not redeemable for cash, cannot be redeemed against a prior purchase and cannot be transferred, exchange or refunded. Offer is subject to change or termination at any time.

Enjoy!

Sooo… not many burgers for you this season hehe ^_^

Regardless of who you follow and/or want to win, Penrith Panthers is a good tip for frequent 2for1 in the NRL.

    • I chose Melbourne Demons a few years ago, I now regret that. Is there a way to change teams?

    • How do you change it as mine shows My TEAM Broncos as last year ..

It seems like the only difference between this year and previous years is, you now have to spend a minimum of $20 in order for you to use the voucher.

    • Just noticed that too.

    • +11

Which means you need to order chips

      • +6

Add a slice of bacon or cheese they charge about $5 for that haha

  • +1

So $20 spend is based on the lowest cost burger?

    • +1

My lowest price burger, which I ordered first was removed from the total.
I will compare the outcome with ordering the highest price burger first next time.
I noticed the pricing of the cheaper burgers I used to buy has been increased by $2 so that there was only 40c difference between them.

Still only valid on Monday's :(
They should really change it to Monday and Tuesday given that most office workers WFH on Mondays.

    • Really? Thought most would WFH on Fridays (and maybe Mondays too)

Seems last year's selection carries over, so nothing to do with my 4 accounts…

    Let’s go Chip Pass 2025!

    • +3

They'll probably change that to have a minimum spend too :(

    • That's the deal when they released the new app.

  • +1

I personally am going to spit in every 50th burger.

  • +10

    Disappointing in the new deal
Before it was just B1G1F but now!!!! It’s Buy something $20+ which is no burgers in its own so you gonna need to add chips or drinks then get a burger free

Sucks. Plus Monday 2 for 1 veggie burgers is gone as well. They won't see me anytime soon.
In the good old times you could have one person order 2 for 1 veggie, one another pair of burgers for Bunday plus get free chips or drink with these orders for every 3rd and 5th order. Also multiple burger orders would be counted for those rewards, now it's only one reward regardless of the number of burgers you order.

  • Better than a kick in the pants

Can you order “at till” but ask them to take away

    • Yes - they are supposed to ask you first question dine in or takeaway. But this implies this question will be asked before you scan the coupon, giving them time to reject if it's for dine in only.

Idk how Grill'd POS works but possible will just block it entirely, or up to the niceness of the staff.

    • Seems to depend on the staff member. Last time I was refused when asked for takeaway and was told management were clamping down on it. Other times the cashier had no idea and didn’t care I was doing takeaway.

    • What you can do is order to a table, then ask for takeaway containers. Did this last night for our second set of burgers.

Deal not as good as last unfortunately. My NRL team won in Round 1 yesterday and the promo starts today. What the?

  • Has anyone been able to change their team from last year? When I look in the app it tells me my team is set, and it defaulted to the same crappy one I picked last year…

    • It doesnt look like it… from the T&Cs in OP.. 'Relish members can only register one sporting code and team and cannot change their preferred sporting code and team throughout the season.'

      • -1

Yes, the "throughout the season" would suggest it should be possible to change in between seasons.

But no option to do that. Guess I'll need to register a new account.

Surprised people still patronise this POS establishment that steals from their employees.

    https://old.reddit.com/r/melbourne/comments/1fxwr1i/working_…

  • So does that mean I can get the cheapest burger + regular fries for $20.40 and get a more expensive burger as the free one?

    • +1

No, the 'free' one is always the cheaper one.

  • -1

Why is everyone saying 'add chips and drinks'?
It seems pretty clear as it's written as spend 20$ then get a burger for free, not add everything up and if it's 20$ or more than hen the burgers free.

    • Huh? That’s not what they’re saying. You need to add a chips and/or drink to your burger purchase to bring the total above $20 to get the second burger free. Most burgers on the menu are around $14-16.

  • +1

it used to be good when you can do take away. forcing ppl to dine in, why?

    • Guessing you're inclined to spend more dining in vs takeaway?

    • +1

You can say Dine In and when it comes ask for a take away box.

    • They need you as a bait and to keep the staff busy.

  • got the coupon, but not going to use… :(

  • Not too bad if you have someone to split $10 each. But the corner KFC/Macca is cheaper. But KFC/Macca seem to have no deal recently. Well, eating is healthier.

  • Anyone have a coupon I could use??
