This PC has HDMI out? Doesn't looked like there is one in the low-res photo on your site.

    • Yes, it does have HDMI port. I will mention that in description

      • So these computers must have been originally ordered from the factory with the optional HDMI port. As the default config doesn't include HDMI but it's an optional build configuration. It says so in the spec sheet for the Optiplex 7060 range. Default factory config was just 2 x Displayport and no HDMI. I guess that makes this deal better value compared to the factory default config.

        "CONVENIENT CONNECTIONS
Support up to three monitors with two standard
DisplayPorts and your choice of VGA, DP, USB
Type-C Alt Mode or HDMI 2.0 as an optional third port.
Drive additional monitors with discrete graphics"

        https://i.dell.com/sites/csdocuments/Shared-Content_data-She…

The pictures on the product page at untech for this only shows the factory default config of 2 x Displayport ports and no HDMI.

    • Just to add also, you can buy a HDMI to DP cable for ~$20. Dell love using DP ports, even on their newest desktops

  • Can you get this one in Win 10?

    • Please put a note with the purchase and we can do windows 10

      Why win 10?

Just application compatibility, not sure some of the older programs used would as intended on Win 11. Even some older apps dont function correctly in Win 10 but works somewhat, don't want to risk it and waste time on Win 11 when people already have experience in Win 10.

        • Oh, of course. Thanks, i was just being nosey.

        • I have QuickBooks 2001 running on windows 11. I'm sure whatever ancient application you have there will probably run fine

  • It does not have wifi, am I right?

    • Doesn't look like it, says it comes with WiFi USB

    • There should be an m2 slot inside for wifi, but it is not a portable, so ethernet is better where possible.

    • You can you use one of the Intel Wi-Fi M2 kits to add Wi-Fi to these in the same way Dell would from the factory. They've got little metal tabs on the back of the chassis you pop out for the antennas.

  • What’s the longest dimension of the box?

Finally 8th gen reimbursed are starting to become the norm

  • Is that going to be enough to play GTA5?

If you are going to be gaming i think that you're better off getting say an AMD RX 6400 low profile GPU card as a dedicated GPU solution. This SFF computer takes a low profile graphics card and the RX 6400 requires no extra power but it just runs off the power from the PCIe x16 slot. Even the RX 6400 GPU would be way better than the onboard Intel HD 630 graphics on this. Older Intel onboard graphics isn't known for gaming performance even in games like GTA5. I know it's an extra expense for the dedicated GPU but it's worth it.

For example this one (XFX Speedster SWFT105 RX 6400) comes with a low profile bracket and is a single slot card which would be great for this SFF computer. Import from the USA that's shipped from Amazon USA though. But it's getting harder to find single slot AMD RX 6400 low profile graphics cards. $202.52 delivered for it on the Amazon AU Black Friday deal but worth every cent compared to the crap onboard graphics which was never designed for gaming in mind. I think it might be the cheapest you're going to get for an AMD RX 6400 low profile graphics card.

      https://www.amazon.com.au/XFX-Speedster-SWFT105-Graphics-RX-…

But some one made a video on Youtube showing the performance playing GTA V on the Intel HD 630 graphics. It can only pull about an average of 25 fps at 1080p. That's extremely poor performance. But i suppose if you like Xbox 360 style console gaming performance from old onboard graphics.

      https://youtu.be/_1agp4TlHPM?t=214

However the AMD RX 6400 can easily pull over 100 fps at 1080p High setting in GTA V. It's a beast compared to the Intel HD 630 onboard graphics.

  • Hi rep, I’m interested in the 2017 imac. Is it possible to upgrade the storage with SSD and ram as well?

  • Is this expandable with an extra SATA port?

  • So I just received this and can confirm it doesn't have HDMI port, not happy.

    • Yeah mine didn't come with HDMI either. I'm in the process of getting a quote from Dell for the part. AliExpress have them for a little over $50, but I know through work I've previously been quoted under $30 inc. delivery direct from Dell (this was a couple years ago for a 7070), so curious to see what they'll charge me as a private customer. I'll report back once I've got the price.

    • Still waiting on the quote, but Dell have confirmed part HXPK2 suits both the OptiPlex 7060 SFF and 7070 SFF. Part number 1KNYY suits OptiPlex 7080 SFF. Note, they may also have the screws quoted as a seperate line item (2x N95VK), but I don't think there's anything special about the screws.

  • So, I ended up getting two quotes for two different part numbers. First quote was $48 for part 325-BDDZ. After asking for some compatibility clarifcation after not seeing the 7060 SFF listed in the "Compatibility list" for that part, they came back with a quote for another part which was CPA-2J90P for $34. I can't find any reference to part CPA-2J90P online though. I'll leave this here as maybe it'll help somebody else.

If you'd like to get your own quote and purchase such parts, email [email protected] or call Dell on whatever number they've got on their website.
